Claims (5)
- 外周面がカムに当接する円筒形状の外輪と、前記外輪を支持する支持軸と、これら支持軸および外輪間の環状領域に配置される複数のころと、前記支持軸が貫通する平坦なリング形状の円盤であって前記ころの端面と向き合い、外径が前記外輪の内径よりも小さい側板とを備え、
前記側板は、表面硬度がHv550以上であり、表面粗さが算術平均粗さRa0.8μm以下であり、前記ころの両端にそれぞれ配置され、前記ころの軸長をLk、前記外輪の軸長をLr、前記側板の厚みをtとすると、Lk<Lr<Lk+2tを満たし、
前記側板の外径は前記外輪の内径よりも小さく、これら側板の外縁と外輪の内周面との間に外方から潤滑油を流し込む環状隙間を確保する、ロッカーアーム用カムフォロア。 - 前記ころのピッチ円径をPCDとし、前記側板の外径をDsとすると、PCD<Dsを満たす、請求項1に記載のロッカーアーム用カムフォロア。
- 前記外輪、前記支持軸、および前記ころの全てが窒素富化層を有し、
支持軸およびころの少なくとも一方の部材における前記窒素富化層のオーステナイト結晶粒が、粒度番号の10番を超えて微細化され、かつ、前記部材における前記窒素富化層の残留オーステナイト量が11体積%以上25体積%以下であり、かつ、前記部材における前記窒素富化層の窒素含有量が0.1質量%以上0.7質量%以下である、請求項1または2に記載のロッカーアーム用カムフォロア。 - 前記ころの転動面および前記ころが転走する前記外輪の内周面のうち、少なくとも一方がクラウニング部を有する、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のロッカーアーム用カムフォロア。
- 1対の脚部を有する揺動部材と、
前記一対の脚部間に架設される支持軸と、
前記支持軸に回転自在に支持され、外周面、内周面、および端面を有し、前記外周面はカムに当接する円筒形状の外輪と、
これら支持軸および外輪間の環状領域に配置される複数のころと、
前記支持軸が貫通する平坦なリング形状の円盤であって外径が前記外輪の内径よりも小さく、前記ころの端面と前記脚部との間に配置される側板とを備え、
前記側板は、表面硬度がHv550以上であり、表面粗さが算術平均粗さRa0.8μm以下であり、前記ころの両端にそれぞれ配置され、前記ころの軸長をLk、前記外輪の軸長をLr、前記側板の厚みをtとすると、Lk<Lr<Lk+2tを満たし、
前記側板の外径は前記外輪の内径よりも小さく、これら側板の外縁と外輪の内周面との間に外方から潤滑油を受け入れる環状隙間を確保する、カムフォロア装置。
