Claims (13)
- 基板と、
前記基板上または前記基板内に形成された第1電極と、
前記基板上または前記基板内に前記第1電極と電気絶縁されて形成された補助配線と、
前記第1電極の上方に形成された発光物質を含む発光層と、
前記発光層と前記第1電極との間に介在し、絶縁性の有機材料により形成された有機層と、
前記発光層の上方に形成された第2電極と、を具備し、
前記有機層及び前記第2電極は、前記第1電極の上方から前記補助配線の上方に延設され、
前記補助配線の上方の前記有機層と前記第2電極との間には、前記有機層に接して金属層が設けられ、
前記第2電極と前記補助配線とは、前記有機層及び前記金属層を介して電気接続され、
前記補助配線の上方における前記有機層は、前記金属層の金属原子が拡散して導電性を帯びている、
有機エレクトロルミネッセンス表示装置。 - 前記金属層は、仕事関数値から前記有機層の最低非占有分子軌道のエネルギー準位の絶対値を減じた値が0.5eV以下である金属を含み、
前記第1電極の上方および前記補助配線の上方における前記有機層は、nドープされていない有機材料により形成された層であり、前記補助配線の上方における前記有機層は、前記金属層との接触により、nドープされている、
請求項1に記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス表示装置。 - 前記金属層に含まれる前記金属は、
当該金属の仕事関数値から前記有機層の最低非占有分子軌道のエネルギー準位の絶対値を減じた値が、−0.5eV以上である、
請求項1に記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス表示装置。 - 前記補助配線の上方における前記有機層のnドープ濃度は、前記第1電極の上方における前記有機層のnドープ濃度より高い、
請求項1〜3のうちいずれか1項に記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス表示装置。 - 前記金属層は、前記第1電極上から前記補助配線上にわたり連続して形成されている、
請求項1〜4のうちいずれか1項に記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス表示装置。 - 前記金属層は、前記第1電極の上方において前記発光層へ電子を注入する電子注入層である、
請求項5に記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス表示装置。 - 前記金属層の金属原子は、前記補助配線上において、前記金属層と前記有機層との界面である第1主面と反対側に位置する前記有機層の第2主面の近傍まで拡散している、
請求項1〜6のうちいずれか1項に記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス表示装置。 - 前記金属層の金属原子は、前記第2主面から5nm以内まで到達している、
請求項7に記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス表示装置。 - 前記金属層は、アルカリ金属及びアルカリ土類金属のうち少なくとも一方を主成分とする金属を含む、
請求項1に記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス表示装置。 - 前記有機層の膜厚は、前記補助配線上において、0nm超50nm以下である、
請求項1〜8のうちいずれか1項に記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス表示装置。 - 前記有機層は、芳香族アミンにより形成される、
請求項1に記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス表示装置。 - 複数の発光画素が配置されている有機エレクトロルミネッセンス表示装置の製造方法であって、
基板上または基板内に、第1電極と当該第1電極と電気絶縁された補助配線とを形成する第1形成工程と、
前記第1電極の上方に、発光物質を含む発光層と、nドープされていない有機材料により形成された有機層とを含む発光部を形成し、前記補助配線の上方に、前記有機層と、当該有機層に接する金属層とを含む接続部を形成する第2形成工程と、
前記第2形成工程の後、少なくとも前記発光部及び前記接続部の上に、第2電極を形成する第3形成工程とを含み、
前記補助配線の上方における前記有機層には、前記第2形成工程により、前記金属層の金属原子が拡散して、導電性を帯びている、
有機エレクトロルミネッセンス表示装置の製造方法。 - 前記金属層は、仕事関数値から前記有機層の最低非占有分子軌道のエネルギー準位の絶対値を減じた値が0.5eV以下である金属を含み、
前記補助配線の上方における前記有機層には、前記第2形成工程により、前記金属層と接触し、nドープされている、
