Description
本発明において最も重要な点は、スピネル型フェライトとケイ酸亜鉛からなり、Fe2O3、NiO、ZnO、CuO及びSiO2が特定の組成範囲にあるNi−Zn−Cu系フェライト粉末を焼結して得られるNi−Zn−Cu系フェライト焼結体は、磁性材料自体が優れた直流重畳特性を有するという事実である。この直流重畳特性が向上する理由は、未だ明らかではないが、ケイ酸亜鉛が特定のフェライト組成範囲のNi−Zn−Cu系フェライトの粒界に存在することにより、Ni−Zn−Cu系フェライト焼結体の磁化曲線が、緩やかな傾斜で直線的な変化をすることに起因するものであると本発明者は推定している。
<Ni−Zn−Cu系フェライト粉末の製造>
Ni−Zn−Cu系フェライトの組成が、所定の組成になるように各酸化物原料を秤量し、ボールミルを用いて20時間湿式混合を行った後、混合スラリーを濾別・乾燥して原料混合粉末を得た。該原料混合粉末を720℃で4時間仮焼成して得られた仮焼成物をアトマイザーで粉砕し、フェライト粉砕粉末を得た。
得られたNi−Zn−Cu系フェライト粉末100重量部に対して結合材料としてポリビニルブチラール8重量部、可塑剤としてフタル酸ベンジル−n−ブチル3重量部、溶剤として3メチル−3メトキシ−1ブタノール50重量部を加えた後、十分混合してスラリーを得た。このスラリーをドクターブレード式コーターによってPETフィルム上に塗布して塗膜を形成した後、乾燥することにより厚さ73μmのグリーンシートを得た。これを縦100mm×横100mmの大きさに切断して8枚を積層した後、0.35×104t/m2の圧力で加圧して、厚さ0.58mmのグリーンシート積層体を得た。
得られたグリーンシート積層体を890℃、2時間で焼結し、厚さ0.48μmのNi−Zn−Cu系フェライト焼結体を得た。得られたNi−Zn−Cu系フェライト焼結体の組成は、Fe2O3=47.5mol%、NiO=14.2mol%、ZnO=27.1mol%、CuO=10.2mol%及びSiO2=1.0mol%であった。該Ni−Zn−Cu系フェライト焼結体におけるスピネル型フェライトの311面からのX線回折強度に対するケイ酸亜鉛の113面からのX線回折強度の比は0.005であった。また、焼結密度は5.01g/cm3であった。更に、該Ni−Zn−Cu系フェライト焼結体から超音波加工機により外径14mm、内径8mm、厚さ0.48mmのリング状焼結体を切り出し、磁気特性を評価した。この焼結体のμ0′は152、μ1000′/μ0′は0.50、コア損失P0は380kW/m3、P1000/P0は1.88であった。
実施例1と同様の方法で、Ni−Zn−Cu系フェライト焼結体を得た。このときの製造条件及び得られたNi−Zn−Cu系フェライト焼結体の諸特性を表1、2、3に示す。
実施例1と同様のNi−Zn−Cu系フェライト粉末を作製し、該Ni−Zn−Cu系フェライト粉末100重量部に対してポリビニルアルコール6%水溶液10重量部を混合して得られた混合粉末7.0gを金型を用いて1.0×104t/m2の成型圧力で外径30mm、厚さ2.9mmの円盤状に成型した。この成型体を焼結温度900℃、5時間で焼結し、Ni−Zn−Cu系フェライト焼結体を得た。
実施例8と同様の方法で、Ni−Zn−Cu系フェライト焼結体を得た。このときの製造条件及び得られたNi−Zn−Cu系フェライト焼結体の諸特性を表1、2、3に示す。
実施例1又は実施例8と同様の方法で、Ni−Zn系−Cuフェライト焼結体を得た。このときの製造条件及び得られたNi−Zn−Cu系フェライト焼結体の諸特性を表1、2、3に示す。
フェライトの組成が、Fe2O3=49.5mol%、NiO=20.7mol%、ZnO=22.8mol%、CuO=7mol%となるように各酸化物原料を秤量し、ボールミルを用いて20時間湿式混合を行った後、混合スラリーを濾別・乾燥して原料混合粉末を得た。該原料混合粉末を750℃で4時間仮焼成して得られた仮焼成物をアトマイザーで粉砕し、フェライト粉砕粉末を得た。

- スピネル型フェライトとケイ酸亜鉛からなるNi−Zn−Cu系フェライト粉末であって、該Ni−Zn−Cu系フェライト粉末の組成は、酸化物換算で、36.0〜48.5mol%のFe2O3、7.0〜37mol%のNiO、4.5〜40mol%のZnO、5.0〜17mol%のCuO、1.0〜8.0mol%のSiO2からなり、スピネル型フェライトの311面からのX線回折強度に対するケイ酸亜鉛の113面からのX線回折強度の比が0.01〜0.12であることを特徴とするNi−Zn−Cu系フェライト粉末。
- 請求項1記載のNi−Zn−Cu系フェライト粉末と結合材料とを用いてシート状に成膜してなるグリーンシート。
- スピネル型フェライトとケイ酸亜鉛との混合物を焼結して得られたスピネル型フェライトとケイ酸亜鉛からなるNi−Zn−Cu系フェライト焼結体であって、該Ni−Zn−Cu系フェライト焼結体の組成は、酸化物換算で、36.0〜48.5mol%のFe2O3、7.0〜37mol%のNiO、4.5〜40mol%のZnO、5.0〜17mol%のCuO、1.0〜8.0mol%のSiO2からなり、スピネル型フェライトの311面からのX線回折強度に対するケイ酸亜鉛の113面からのX線回折強度の比が0.005〜0.065であることを特徴とするNi−Zn−Cu系フェライト焼結体。
- 請求項3記載のNi−Zn−Cu系フェライト焼結体において、焼結密度が4.9〜5.25g/cm3であり、直流重畳磁場を印加しない状態で測定した透磁率の実数部μ0′が20〜170、コア損失P0が1400kW/m3以下であり、直流重畳磁場を1000A/m印加した状態で測定した透磁率の実数部μ1000′とμ0′の比μ1000′/μ0′が0.5以上であり、直流重畳磁場を1000A/m印加した状態で測定したコア損失P1000とP0の比P1000/P0が0.7〜2.0であることを特徴とするNi−Zn−Cu系フェライト焼結体。
