Abstract
Description
主成分と副成分とを有するフェライト組成物であって、
前記主成分が、Fe2O3換算で44.0〜50.0モル%(44.0モル%を含まない)のFeの化合物、CuO換算で5.5〜14.0モル%のCuの化合物、ZnO換算で4.0〜39.0モル%のZnの化合物、および、残部でありNiO換算で40.0モル%未満であるNiの化合物で構成されており、
前記主成分100重量部に対して、前記副成分として、Siの化合物をSiO2換算で3.0〜13.0重量部(3.0重量部を含まない)、Coの化合物をCo3O4換算で2.0〜10.0重量部(2.0重量部を含まない)、Biの化合物をBi2O3換算で0.25〜5.00重量部、含有し、
(前記Coの化合物のCo3O4換算での含有量)/(前記Siの化合物のSiO2換算での含有量)が重量比で0.4〜2.9であることを特徴とする。
前記セラミック層が上記のフェライト組成物で構成されていることを特徴とする。
主成分の原料として、Fe2O3、NiO、CuO、ZnOを準備した。副成分の原料として、SiO2、Bi2O3、Co3O4を準備した。なお、出発原料の平均粒径は0.05〜1.00μmであることが好ましい。
ディスクサンプルの両面にIn−Ga電極を塗り、直流抵抗値を測定し、比抵抗ρを求めた(単位:Ω・m)。測定はIRメーター(HEWLETT PACKARD社製4329A)を用いて行った。本実施例では、比抵抗ρは106Ω・m以上を良好とした。
トロイダルコアサンプルに銅線ワイヤを10ターン巻きつけ、LCRメータ(アジレントテクノロジー社製4991A)を使用して、初透磁率μiを測定した。測定条件としては、測定周波数1MHz、測定温度25℃とした。初透磁率μiが3.0以上である場合を良好とした。
トロイダルコアサンプルに銅線ワイヤを30ターン巻きつけ、直流電流を印加したときの透磁率μを測定した。印加する直流電流を0〜8Aまで変化させながら透磁率μを測定し、横軸に直流電流を、縦軸に透磁率をとってグラフ化した。直流電流0Aのときの透磁率が初透磁率μiである。そして、透磁率がμiから10%低下するときの電流値をIdcとして求めた。
前記焼結後のフェライト組成物の密度はトロイダルコアサンプルについて焼成後の焼結体の寸法および重量から算出した。密度が4.70g/cm3以上の場合に焼結性が良好であるとした。
前記焼結後のフェライト組成物(トロイダルコアサンプル)について、EPMAおよびSTEM−EDSにより観察した。観察倍率は20000倍以上とし、各実施例および比較例により適した観察倍率を適宜設定した。そして、各フェライト組成物がスピネルフェライト相からなる主相、Zn2SiO4相からなる第1の副相、SiO2相からなる第2の副相およびSiO2相とからなる粒界相を含むか否かについて確認した。さらに、主相、第1の副相、第2の副相および粒界相の面積割合をSTEM−EDSの観察結果から算出した。表1〜表6の各実施例では、第1の副相の面積は4%以上15%以下、第2の副相の面積は1%以上10%以下、主相の面積は75%以上95%以下、粒界相の面積は5%以上25%以下であった。
Zn2SiO4の含有量については、前記焼結後のフェライト組成物についてX線回折装置(Panalytical社製X‘Pert PRO MPD CuKα線)によりIB/IAを測定することで調べた。
交流抵抗(Rac)については、トロイダルコアサンプルに銅線ワイヤを1次側に6ターン、2次側に3ターン巻つけ、B−Hアナライザ(岩通計測製SY−8218)およびアンプ(エヌエフ回路設計ブロック製4101−IW)を使用して、測定時の周波数を3MHz、交流電流値を1.6Armsとした。交流抵抗Racは25mΩ以下を良好とした。
実験例2では、実験例1のNo.5について、組成を変化させずに原料混合物の組成および仮焼後に添加する添加物の種類および/または添加量を変化させることで、EPMA観察時の主相、第1の副相、第2の副相および粒界相の面積割合を変化させた。結果を表7に示す。

- 主成分と副成分とを有するフェライト組成物であって、
前記主成分が、Fe2O3換算で44.0〜50.0モル%(44.0モル%を含まない)のFeの化合物、CuO換算で5.5〜14.0モル%のCuの化合物、ZnO換算で4.0〜39.0モル%のZnの化合物、および、残部でありNiO換算で40.0モル%未満であるNiの化合物で構成されており、
前記主成分100重量部に対して、前記副成分として、Siの化合物をSiO2換算で3.0〜13.0重量部(3.0重量部を含まない)、Coの化合物をCo3O4換算で3.0〜8.0重量部、Biの化合物をBi2O3換算で1.00〜4.00重量部、含有し、
(前記Coの化合物のCo3O4換算での含有量)/(前記Siの化合物のSiO2換算での含有量)が重量比で1.0〜2.5であることを特徴とするフェライト組成物。 - スピネルフェライトからなる主相と、Zn2SiO4相からなる第1の副相と、SiO2相からなる粒界相と、からなる請求項1に記載のフェライト組成物。
- さらに、SiO2相からなる第2の副相を有する請求項2に記載のフェライト組成物。
- コイル導体およびセラミック層が積層されて構成される積層電子部品であって、
前記セラミック層が請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のフェライト組成物で構成されている積層電子部品。
