Description
しかし、これらの材料は、耐熱性、耐光性や記録特性の点で、満足のいく性能が得られていなかった。
先ず、上記一般式(I)及び(IV)〜(VI)で表されるインドリウム化合物について説明する。
また、Mで表される金属原子は、Fe、Co、Ni、Ti、Cu、Zn、Zr、Cr、Mo、Os、Mn、Ru、Sn、Pd、Rh、Pt又はIrである。
本発明の光学記録材料は、上記インドリウム化合物を少なくとも一種含有する。
また、本発明の光学記録媒体は、基体上に、該光学記録材料からなる光学記録層を形成して得られるものである。
下記製造例1〜4は、上記一般式(I)で表される化合物No.1〜No.3の過塩素酸塩及び化合物No.1のクエンチャー(C)塩の製造例を示す。
また、下記実施例1〜4は、製造例1〜4で得られた化合物No.1〜No.3を含有する光学記録材料の調製及び該光学記録材料を用いた光学記録媒体No.1〜No.4の製造例を示す。
以下に示す合成方法を用いて、化合物No.1〜No.3を合成した。得られた化合物の同定は、IR及び1H−NMR分析により行った。〔表1〕に、得られた化合物の収率並びに特性値[溶液状態での光吸収特性(λmax、及びλmaxにおけるε)、分解点]の測定結果、〔表2〕及び〔表3〕に同定データを示す。
なお、〔表1〕において、分解点は10℃/分の昇温速度における示差熱分析の質量減少開始温度である。
インドレニン四級塩(臭素塩)24mmol、フェロセンカルボキシアルデヒド30mmol及びクロロホルム38gを仕込み、80℃で7時間撹拌した。過塩素酸ナトリウム30mmol及び水30gを加え、60℃で1時間撹拌した。油水分離を行い、溶媒を留去し、得られた残さをクロロホルム20mlから再結晶し、目的物である化合物No.1〜No.3のClO4塩をそれぞれ得た。
化合物No.1のClO4塩0.69mmol、上記化学式〔C〕で示されるアニオンのトリエチルアミン塩0.69mmol及びピリジン3.6gを仕込み、60℃で2時間撹拌し、メタノール8gを加え、室温まで冷却した。析出した固体をろ別後、減圧乾燥し、目的物である化合物No.1のクエンチャーアニオン(C)塩を得た。
上記の製造例1〜4で得た化合物を、それぞれインドリウム化合物濃度が濃度1.0質量%となるように2,2,3,3−テトラフルオロプロパノールに溶解して、2,2,3,3−テトラフルオロプロパノール溶液として光学記録材料を得た。チタンキレート化合物(T−50:日本曹達社製)を塗布、加水分解して下地層(0.01μm)を設けた直径12cmのポリカーボネートディスク基板上に、上記の光学記録材料をスピンコーティング法にて塗布して、厚さ100nmの光学記録層を形成し光学記録媒体No.1〜No.4をそれぞれ得た。得られた光学記録媒体のUVスペクトル吸収及び薄膜(光学記録層)の入射角5°の反射光のUVスペクトルを測定した。結果を〔表4〕に示す。
本発明に係るインドリウム化合物に代えて下記比較化合物No.1を用いた以外は、上記実施例1〜4と同様にして光学記録材料を作製し、該光学記録材料を用いて光学記録媒体No.1を得た。
実施例1で得られた光学記録媒体No.1並びに比較例1で得られた比較光学記録媒体No.1について、耐熱性評価を行なった。評価は、該光学記録媒体に80℃に設定した熱風循環式定温乾燥機内に120時間入れ、加熱前のUV吸収スペクトルのλmaxからの吸光度残存率を測定した。評価結果を以下の〔表5〕に示す。
Claims (6)
- 下記一般式(IV)で表されるインドリウム化合物。
- 上記一般式(IV)におけるX1が硫黄原子である請求項1〜3の何れか1項に記載のインドリウム化合物。
- 基体上に光学記録層が形成された光学記録媒体の該光学記録層の形成に用いられる、請求項1〜4の何れか1項に記載のインドリウム化合物の少なくとも一種を含有してなる光学記録材料。
- 基体上に、請求項5に記載の光学記録材料から形成された光学記録層を有することを特徴とする光学記録媒体。
