Claims (3)
- オイル溜まり部のオイルレベルを検出し、検出結果に基づいて警告を発する車両用オイルレベル検出装置において、
前記オイル溜まり部のオイルレベルが正常オイルレベル時には、エンジン始動直後所定時間内に、始動前正常オイルレベルから最低オイルレベルまで減少した後、前記始動前正常オイルレベルより低いエンジン動作時オイルレベルに向かって増加する変化に着目し、前記エンジン動作時オイルレベルと前記最低オイルレベルとの間に規定値オイルレベルを設定し、
前記オイル溜まり部に設けられ、前記規定値オイルレベル以下であることを検知して作動するオイルレベルスイッチと、
エンジン始動時から前記所定時間内に前記オイルレベルスイッチが作動しなかった場合に、前記オイルレベルスイッチが故障又は前記オイルレベルが過多であると判定する判定部と、
を備えることを特徴とする車両用オイルレベル検出装置。 - 請求項1記載の車両用オイルレベル検出装置において、
前記オイルレベルスイッチは、フロートスイッチであり、
前記判定部は、エンジン始動時から前記所定時間以内に前記フロートスイッチが作動しなかった場合、前記フロートスイッチが故障又は前記オイルレベルが過多であると判定する
ことを特徴とする車両用オイルレベル検出装置。 - 請求項1又は2記載の車両用オイルレベル検出装置において、
前記オイルレベルスイッチに並列に抵抗を接続し、
電源電圧に、前記抵抗と前記オイルレベルスイッチの並列回路を接続し、さらに直列に抵抗分圧回路の一端を接続し、前記抵抗分圧回路の他端を接地し、前記接地と前記抵抗分圧回路の前記接地側の抵抗間に発生する電圧により前記判定部が判定する
ことを特徴とする車両用オイルレベル検出装置。
