参考例1においては、負極と正極とを下記のようにして作製すると共に、非水電解液を下記のようにして調製し、図1に示すような扁平なコイン型の非水電解液二次電池を作製した。
負極を作製するにあたっては、電解銅箔(厚み18μm、表面粗さRa=0.188μm)からなる負極集電体の上に、スパッタガス(Ar)流量:100sccm、基板温度:室温(加熱なし)、反応圧力:0.133Pa(1.0×10-3Torr)、高周波電力:200Wの条件でRFスパッタリングを行い、厚さが約5μmになったシリコン薄膜からなる負極活物質の薄膜を形成した。
そして、このように非晶質シリコン薄膜からなる負極活物質の薄膜が形成された電解銅箔からなる負極集電体を、100℃で2時間真空乾燥させた後、これを直径10.0mmの円板状に打ち抜いて負極を作製した。
正極を作製するにあたっては、正極活物質としてリチウム含有二酸化コバルトLiCoO2粉末(日本化学工業社製:C5)を用い、このLiCoO2粉末85質量部に、カーボンブラック(電気化学工業社製:デンカブラック)を6質量部、ポリフッ化ビニリデン(呉羽化学社製:KF−1000)を9質量部の割合で加えて混合し、これにN−メチル−2−ピロリドンを加えてスラリー状にし、このスラリーを正極集電体である厚さ20μmのアルミニウム箔の上に、上記の負極の理論容量の約9割になるように均一に塗布し、これを100℃で12時間乾燥させた後、これを直径10.0mmの円板状に打ち抜いて正極を作製した。
非水電解液を調製するにあたっては、非水系溶媒のエチレンカーボネートとジエチルカーボネートとを3:7の体積比で混合させた溶媒に、溶質として六フッ化リン酸リチウムLiPF6を1モル/リットルになるように溶解させて非水電解液を調製し、さらにこの非水電解液に対して、前記の一般式(I)で表わされるR 1 ,R 2 が互いに結合して環を形成した化合物であるフルオロエチレンカーボネートを2質量%添加させた。この場合、リチウム塩を除いた非水電解液の質量に対するフルオロエチレンカーボネートの質量は2.2質量%になる。
電池を作製するにあたっては、図1に示すように、上記のように作製した正極1と負極2との間にポリプロピレン製の微多孔膜からなるセパレータ3を介在させると共に、このセパレータ3に上記の非水電解液を含浸させ、これらをステンレス製の正極缶4aと負極缶4bとからなる電池缶4内に収容させ、上記の正極集電体1bを介して正極1を正極缶4aに接続させる一方、上記の負極集電体2bを介して負極2を負極缶4bに接続させ、この正極缶4aと負極缶4bとの間に絶縁パッキン5を配して電池缶4をかしめ、正極缶4aと負極缶4bとの間を電気的に絶縁させると共に密封させて、設計容量が3.4mAhになった非水電解液二次電池を作製した。
実施例2においては、上記の参考例1の場合と使用する非水電解液だけを変更し、それ以外は、上記の参考例1のものと同様にして非水電解液二次電池を作製した。
実施例3においても、上記の参考例1の場合と使用する非水電解液だけを変更し、それ以外は、上記の参考例1のものと同様にして非水電解液二次電池を作製した。
実施例4においても、上記の参考例1の場合と使用する非水電解液だけを変更し、それ以外は、上記の実施例1のものと同様にして非水電解液二次電池を作製した。
実施例5においても、上記の参考例1の場合と使用する非水電解液だけを変更し、それ以外は、上記の参考例1のものと同様にして非水電解液二次電池を作製した。
実施例6においても、上記の参考例1の場合と使用する非水電解液だけを変更し、それ以外は、上記の参考例1のものと同様にして非水電解液二次電池を作製した。
実施例7においても、上記の参考例1の場合と使用する非水電解液だけを変更し、それ以外は、上記の参考例1のものと同様にして非水電解液二次電池を作製した。
参考例8においても、上記の参考例1の場合と使用する非水電解液だけを変更し、それ以外は、上記の参考例1のものと同様にして非水電解液二次電池を作製した。
実施例9においても、上記の参考例1の場合と使用する非水電解液だけを変更し、それ以外は、上記の参考例1のものと同様にして非水電解液二次電池を作製した。
実施例10においても、上記の参考例1の場合と使用する非水電解液だけを変更し、それ以外は、上記の参考例1のものと同様にして非水電解液二次電池を作製した。
実施例11においても、上記の参考例1の場合と使用する非水電解液だけを変更し、それ以外は、上記の参考例1のものと同様にして非水電解液二次電池を作製した。
実施例12においても、上記の参考例1の場合と使用する非水電解液だけを変更し、それ以外は、上記の参考例1のものと同様にして非水電解液二次電池を作製した。
実施例13においても、上記の参考例1の場合と使用する非水電解液だけを変更し、それ以外は、上記の参考例1のものと同様にして非水電解液二次電池を作製した。
参考例14においても、上記の参考例1の場合と使用する非水電解液だけを変更し、それ以外は、上記の参考例1のものと同様にして非水電解液二次電池を作製した。
実施例15においても、上記の参考例1の場合と使用する非水電解液だけを変更し、それ以外は、上記の参考例1のものと同様にして非水電解液二次電池を作製した。
比較例1においても、上記の参考例1の場合と使用する非水電解液だけを変更し、それ以外は、上記の参考例1のものと同様にして非水電解液二次電池を作製した。
比較例2においても、上記の参考例1の場合と使用する非水電解液だけを変更し、それ以外は、上記の参考例1のものと同様にして非水電解液二次電池を作製した。

Claims (7)
- 集電体の上にリチウムを吸蔵・放出する金属を含む負極活物質の薄膜が形成された負極と、リチウムを吸蔵・放出する正極活物質を用いた正極と、非水系溶媒にリチウム塩が溶解された非水電解液とを有し、上記の負極活物質の薄膜がその厚み方向に形成された切れ目によって柱状に分離されている非水電解液二次電池において、上記の非水電解液中に下記の化1に示す一般式(I)で表わされる化合物が含有されている非水電解液二次電池。
(式中、R1,R2は、無置換又は各種の置換基を有するアルキル基を表し、R1,R2の少なくとも一方の基に、フッ素が1つ以上結合されている。また、R1,R2は同じ基であっても異なる基であってもよい。さらに、R 1 ,R 2 が独立した基であって、R 1 ,R 2 の少なくとも1つの基が、炭素数が1〜4の範囲になった鎖状フッ素化アルキル基である。) - 請求項1に記載の非水電解液二次電池において、上記の負極活物質の薄膜が、シリコン及びその合金、錫及びその合金から選択される材料で構成されている非水電解液二次電池。
- 請求項1又は請求項2に記載の非水電解液二次電池において、上記の非水電解液の非水系溶媒として、それぞれ総炭素数が3〜9の範囲にあるラクトン化合物と環状カーボネートと鎖状カーボネートと鎖状カルボン酸エステルとエーテルとからなる群から選択される1種以上の溶媒が含まれ、リチウム塩を除いた非水電解液の質量に対して、上記の一般式(I)で表わされる化合物とラクトン化合物と環状カーボネートと鎖状カーボネートと鎖状カルボン酸エステルとエーテルとの合計量が90質量%以上である非水電解液二次電池。
- 請求項3に記載の非水電解液二次電池において、リチウム塩を除いた非水電解液の質量に対して、上記の環状カーボネートとラクトン化合物との合計量が20質量%以上である非水電解液二次電池。
- 請求項3又は請求項4に記載の非水電解液二次電池において、上記のラクトン化合物が、γ−ブチロラクトンとγ−バレロラクトンとδ−バレロラクトンとからなる群から選ばれる1種以上であり、上記の環状カーボネートが、エチレンカーボネートとプロピレンカーボネートとブチレンカーボネートとからなる群から選ばれる1種以上であり、上記の鎖状カーボネートが、ジメチルカーボネートとジエチルカーボネートとエチルメチルカーボネートとからなる群から選ばれる1種以上である非水電解液二次電池。
- 請求項1〜5の何れか1項に記載の非水電解液二次電池において、上記の非水電解液中におけるリチウム塩として、LiBF4及びLiPF6から選ばれる1種以上のリチウム塩が、総リチウム塩中5mol%以上含有されている非水電解液二次電池。
- 集電体の上にリチウムを吸蔵・放出する金属を含む負極活物質の薄膜が形成された負極と、リチウムを吸蔵・放出する正極活物質を用いた正極と、非水系溶媒にリチウム塩が溶解された非水電解液とを有し、上記の負極活物質の薄膜がその厚み方向に形成された切れ目によって柱状に分離されている非水電解液二次電池に用いる非水電解液であって、前記の請求項1に示した一般式(I)で表わされる化合物が含有されている非水電解液。
