Claims (7)
- 第一ガラス板と第二ガラス板とで構成された貼合せガラス板の切断分離方法であって、
前記第一ガラス板の表面に第一スクライブラインを形成する第一工程と、
前記第一スクライブラインにエッチング液を接触させる第二工程と、
前記第二工程を経た前記貼合せガラス板の第二ガラス板の表面に、第一スクライブラインに対応する第二スクライブラインを形成する第三工程と、
前記貼合せガラス板に応力を加えて、前記2つのスクライブラインに沿って前記貼合せガラス板を切断分離する第四工程と、
をこの順番に実行する貼合せガラス板の切断分離方法。 - 前記第一工程に先立って、貼合せガラス板にエッチング液を接触させて全体を薄板化する前工程を設けた請求項1に記載の切断分離方法。
- 前記第二工程では、前記貼合せガラス板全体をエッチング液に接触させることで、第一ガラス板と第二ガラス板を共に薄板化している請求項1又は2に記載の切断分離方法。
- 前記第四工程の後、切断分離された個々の貼合せガラス板の周縁に、エッチング液を接触させる後工程を設けた請求項1〜3の何れかに記載の切断分離方法。
- 第一ガラス板と第二ガラス板とで構成された貼合せガラス板の切断分離方法であって、
前記貼合せガラス板全体にエッチング液を接触させて、目標板厚の直近まで薄板化する第一エッチング工程と、
第一エッチング工程を経た前記第一ガラス板と前記第二ガラス板の各表面に、対応する一対のスクライブラインを、その時の貼合わせガラス板の板厚の10〜15%の深さに始点から終点まで形成するスクライブ工程と、
その後、前記貼合せガラス板全体にエッチング液を接触させて、目標板厚まで薄板化する第二エッチング工程と、
第二エッチング工程を経た前記貼合せガラス板に応力を加えて、前記一対のスクライブラインに沿って前記貼合せガラス板を切断分離する分離工程と、を有し、
前記第二エッチング工程でのエッチング量が、各ガラス板とも10〜40μmに制限されている貼合せガラス板の切断分離方法。 - 製造工程中に、請求項1〜5の何れかに記載の切断分離方法を実施するフラットパネルディスプレイパネルの製造方法。
- 製造工程中に、請求項1〜5の何れかに記載の切断分離方法を実施するフラットパネルディスプレイの製造方法。
