Description
本明細書は、皮下多脂質細胞を冷却するための装置、システム、及び方法を記載する。用語“皮下組織”は、真皮の下にある組織を意味し、含脂肪細胞(脂肪細胞)と、皮下脂肪とを含む。後述する実施形態を説明するために、以下に説明するいくつかの詳細は、開示された実施形態を当業者が生産し且つ使用するのに充分な仕方で行われることを認識すべきである。しかしながら、以下に説明するいくつかの詳細及び利点は、本発明のある実施形態を実施するのに必要ではない。更に、本発明は、特許請求の範囲の範囲の記載に包含されるが、図1〜図6に関して詳細に説明していない他の実施形態を含む。
図1は、本発明の実施形態に従った、対象101の皮下多脂質細胞から熱を除去するシステム100を示す斜視図である。システム100は、対象101の皮下多脂質細胞から熱を除去するために、対象101の腹部領域102又はその他の適当な領域に配置される冷却装置104を有している。冷却装置104の様々な実施形態を、図2〜図5を参照して以下に詳細に説明する。
図2Aは、システム100に使用するのに適した本発明の1つの例による冷却装置104の斜視図である。この例では、冷却装置104は、第1の部分129a及び第2の部分129bを有する支持体128と、第1の部分129aに配置された第1の冷却要素130aと、第2の部分129bに配置された第2の冷却要素130bとを有している。冷却装置104は、一般に、手動操作用の携帯ユニットとして構成され、且つ/又は、ひもで留められてもよいし、対象に解放可能に取付けられる別の手段で構成されてもよい。第1の冷却要素130a及び/又は第2の冷却要素130bは、作動中に処置領域に圧力を付与するように冷却要素130a,130bを配置するために、支持体128に沿って移動させたり回転させたりすることができるように構成されている。これらの特徴を、冷却装置の特定の例を参照して後でより詳細に説明する。

Claims (23)
- 皮膚を有する対象の皮下多脂質細胞から熱を除去する冷却装置であって、
第1の部分と第2の部分を有する支持体と、
支持体の第1の部分に配置され且つ第1の熱交換面を有する第1の冷却要素と、
支持体の第2の部分に配置され且つ第2の熱交換面を有する第2の冷却要素と、を有し、
第1の冷却要素及び第2の冷却要素のうちの少なくとも一方は、第1の冷却要素及び第2の冷却要素が互いに近接する方向に移動可能であり、
第1の冷却要素及び第2の冷却要素のうちの少なくとも一方は、第1の熱交換面と第2の熱交換面の間の角度を調整するために回転するように構成され、
第1の熱交換面及び第2の熱交換面のうちの少なくとも一方は、冷却効果を集中するため、熱交換面間の距離を減らすように、凸状の表面を有する、冷却装置。 - 第1の冷却要素と第2の冷却要素の間の角度は、0゜〜180゜に調整可能である、請求項1に記載の冷却装置。
- 第1の冷却要素及び第2の冷却要素は、少なくとも二次元で回転可能である、請求項1に記載の冷却装置。
- 第1の熱交換面は、第2の熱交換面の湾曲に相対応する湾曲形状である、請求項1に記載の冷却装置。
- 第1の熱交換面の少なくとも一部分及び第2の熱交換面の少なくとも一部分は、約0.1ワット/メートル ・ケルビン温度よりも大きい熱伝導率を有する材料を含む、請求項1に記載の冷却装置。
- 第1の熱交換面の一部分及び第2の熱交換面の一部分は、0.05ワット/メートル ・ケルビン温度よりも大きい熱伝導率を有する材料を含む、請求項1に記載の冷却装置。
- 第1の熱交換面及び第2の熱交換面は各々、第1の熱伝導率を有する第1の材料を含む第1の部分と、第1の熱伝導率よりも小さい第2の熱伝導率を有する第2の材料を含む第2の部分とを有する、請求項1に記載の冷却装置。
- 第1の冷却要素及び第2の冷却要素のうちの少なくとも一方は、更に、第1の熱交換面及び第2の熱交換面のうちの少なくとも一方と熱的に連通した流体チャンバと、流体チャンバと連通する複数の流体ポートとを有し、流体ポートは、流体チャンバを通る流体循環を可能にするように構成される、請求項1に記載の冷却装置。
- 流体チャンバと連通する流体は、流体を冷却する外部装置を通して循環される、請求項8に記載の冷却装置。
- 第1の冷却要素及び第2の冷却要素のうちの少なくとも一方は、更に、第1の熱交換面及び第2の熱交換面のうちの少なくとも一方に熱的に直接連通した熱電式熱交換器を有する、請求項1に記載の冷却装置。
- 第1の冷却要素及び第2の冷却要素のうちの少なくとも一方は、ハウジングと、ハウジング内の流体チャンバと、流体チャンバ内の熱電式熱交換器とを有し、熱電式熱交換器は、それに対応する第1の冷却要素又は第2の冷却要素の熱交換面と接触する、請求項1に記載の冷却装置。
- ハウジングは、更に、流体チャンバを通る流体の循環を可能にするように構成された複数の流体ポートを有する、請求項11に記載の冷却装置。
- 更に、第1の熱交換面又は第2の熱交換面に近接した検出要素を有する、請求項1に記載の冷却装置。
- 更に、第1の熱交換面及び第2の熱交換面のうちの少なくとも一方に近接した温度検出要素を有する、請求項1に記載の冷却装置。
- 更に、第1の熱交換面及び第2の熱交換面のうちの少なくとも一方に近接した温度検出要素及び圧力検出要素を有する、請求項1に記載の冷却装置。
- 更に、第1の熱交換面及び第2の熱交換面のうちの少なくとも一方に近接し且つ前記少なくとも一方の熱交換面の温度を検出するための第1の温度検出(sense)要素と、
第1の熱交換面及び第2の熱交換面のうちの少なくとも一方に近接した対象の皮膚の温度を検出するための第2の温度検出要素と、を有する請求項1に記載の冷却装置。 - 更に、第1の熱交換面及び第2の熱交換面のうちの少なくとも一方に近接し且つ全体的に凹んだ形状をなす温度検出要素を有する、請求項1に記載の冷却装置。
- 支持体は、第1の部分に位置する第1の取付けベースと、第2の部分に位置する第2の取付けベースと、第1取付けベース及び第2の取付けベースに結合され且つ、前記第1の取付けベース及び第2の取付けベースのうちの少なくとも一方を、これら取付けベースが互いに近接するように移動するように案内するシャフトと、を有する請求項1に記載の冷却装置。
- 更に、支持体のところに位置し且つ前記シャフトと係合するアクチュエータを有し、アクチュエータは、前記シャフトを移動させるように構成される、請求項18に記載の冷却装置。
- アクチュエータは、更に、把持要素を有し、シャフトは、第1の冷却要素及び第2の冷却要素の間にクランプ力を作用させるために、把持要素をクランプ方向に移動させることによって移動可能である、請求項19に記載の冷却装置。
- シャフトは、第1取付けベース及び第2の取付けベースのうちの少なくとも一方に配置される、請求項18に記載の冷却装置。
- 更に、第1の取付けベース又は第2の取付けベースに取付けられ且つ第1の冷却要素及び第2の冷却要素をそれぞれの移動後の位置にロックするロック要素を有する、請求項18に記載の冷却装置。
- 更に、オペレータの手で握られるように構成された握りを有する、請求項1に記載の冷却装置。
