Description
これにより、バッテリは、ファンの作動によって導入された空気によって冷却され、ファンからの送風は、荷室の外側下方位置で延出壁の車幅方向の遮音材に当たって消音されるようになる。
また、この発明によれば、車体前後方向を大きく占有しない構造でありながら、ファンによる送風騒音を確実に低減し、かつ、荷室を通して車室内に送風騒音や振動が伝達されるのを防止することができる。したがって、この発明によれば、騒音低減を犠牲にすることなく車両の前後長の短縮化を図ることができる。
図1は、この発明に係るバッテリの冷却構造を採用した車両1の後部を後部斜め上方側から見た概略的な斜視図であり、図2は、車両1の後部の模式的な平面図、図3は、車両1の図1のA−A断面に対応する断面図である。なお、図1においては、内部の構造を説明する関係上、視点に近い側の部材の一部を取り去った状態を示している。
この実施形態の車両1は、リヤシート10(図2参照)の後方側に車室と連続した荷室11を備え、図1に示すように、荷室11の前部領域の下方に高圧バッテリを収納するバッテリボックス13が配置されている。
なお、図3中27は、バッテリボックス13の下方に配置される車体底部のパネル材である。
したがって、この冷却構造を採用した場合には、車両のコンパクト化と静粛性の向上を両立させることができる。
この実施形態では、荷室11の後部側(リヤパネル30)のみに左右の延出壁23を連結する延出壁23Aを設けたが、荷室11の前部側の下面、例えば、荷室フロアパネル16の下面にも同様の延出壁を設け、左右の延出壁を環状に連結するようにしても良い。

Claims (1)
- 車両のリヤシートの後方に配置されたバッテリを、前記リヤシートの後方の荷室の外側位置にて、ファンによる送風によって冷却するバッテリの冷却構造において、
前記荷室の車幅方向の両側が内装材であるリヤサイドパネルによって画成されるとともに、前記荷室の前部側と後部側が前記リヤシートとリヤパネルによってそれぞれ画成され、
前記両側のリヤサイドパネルが、前記荷室の側壁部を成すパネル本体部から車幅方向内側に屈曲する段差壁を備え、
前記両側のリヤサイドパネルの段差部の前後方向の一部が車幅方向に延出する荷室フロアパネルによって結合されるとともに、前記両側のリヤサイドパネルの段差壁と前記荷室フロアパネルに囲まれる開口部に、フロアリッドが開閉可能に設けられ、
前記両側のリヤサイドパネルの前記段差壁の車幅方向内側の端部に、鉛直下方に屈曲する延出壁が一体に設けられ、
前記一方のリヤサイドパネルの前記パネル本体部の下方位置に、先端部が車幅方向の内側に向くように前記ファンの排気口が配置され、
前記一方のリヤサイドパネルの前記延出壁の車幅方向外側の面に、前記ファンの排気口に対向するように遮音材が取り付けられていることを特徴とするバッテリの冷却構造。
