Description
筒内噴射用インジェクタ110が異常でないと(S110にてNO)、筒内噴射用インジェクタ110がフィード圧で噴射される(S120)。このときの燃料の噴射量の一例を図3に示す。図3は、燃料噴射時間tauと燃料噴射量との関係を示したものであって、筒内噴射用インジェクタ110が故障していないので、筒内噴射用インジェクタ110に燃料噴射の一部を分担させている。図3の「筒内噴射用インジェクタ=Qmin」の部分で
ある。それ以外の燃料は、燃料供給系もインジェクタ自体も正常な、吸気通路噴射用インジェクタ120から噴射する。
筒内噴射用インジェクタ110が異常であると(S110にてYES)、筒内噴射用インジェクタ110からの燃料噴射が停止される(S140)。
以下、本実施の形態に係る制御装置が適用されるに適したエンジン(その1)について説明する。
以下、本実施の形態に係る制御装置が適用されるに適したエンジン(その2)について説明する。なお、以下のエンジン(その2)の説明において、エンジン(その1)と同じ説明については、ここでは繰り返さない。
以下、本発明の変形例に係る制御装置について説明する。この変形例に係る制御装置であるECU300により制御されるエンジンシステムの構成は、前述の図1に示した構成と同じである。したがって、ここでの詳細な説明は繰り返さない。本変形例においては、前述の高圧燃料系の異常時において、筒内噴射用インジェクタ110の温度に基づいて、エンジン10の運転領域を制限することが特徴である。
以上のような構造およびフローチャートに基づく、本変形例に係る内燃機関の制御装置であるエンジンECU300により制御されるエンジン10の動作について、説明する。
Claims (9)
- 筒内に燃料を噴射するための第1の燃料噴射手段と、吸気通路内に燃料を噴射するための第2の燃料噴射手段とを備えた内燃機関の制御装置であって、
前記第1の燃料噴射手段および前記第2の燃料噴射手段の一方の噴射停止を含んで、燃料を分担して噴射するように、燃料噴射手段を制御するための噴射制御手段と、
前記第1の燃料噴射手段の燃料系の異常を検知するための検知手段とを含み、
前記噴射制御手段は、前記異常が検知された場合、前記第1の燃料噴射手段の燃料噴射を制限し、
前記制御装置は、前記第1の燃料噴射手段の燃料噴射の制限中に前記第1の燃料噴射手段の温度が予め定められた温度以上になった場合に、前記内燃機関の筒内温度が低下するように前記内燃機関を制御するための制御手段をさらに含む、内燃機関の制御装置。 - 前記予め定められた温度は、前記第1の燃料噴射手段の燃料噴射の制限中に熱的な要因で前記第1の燃料噴射手段が故障することを回避するために許容される温度である、請求項1に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
- 前記第1の燃料噴射手段の温度は、内燃機関の回転数および吸入空気量に基づいて、算出される、請求項2に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
- 前記第1の燃料噴射手段の温度は、内燃機関の回転数および吸入空気量に基づいて算出された温度と、温度変動要因とにより算出される、請求項2に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
- 前記温度変動要因は、吸排気バルブのオーバラップ量および点火時期の遅角量の少なくともいずれかに基づいて算出される補正温度である、請求項4に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
- 前記制御手段は、前記内燃機関への吸入空気量を制限することにより、前記内燃機関の筒内温度が低下するように前記内燃機関を制御するための手段を含む、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
- 前記制御手段は、前記内燃機関の回転数を制限することにより、前記内燃機関の筒内温度が低下するように前記内燃機関を制御するための手段を含む、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
- 前記検知手段は、前記第1の燃料噴射手段に供給される燃料の圧力に基づいて、前記異常を検知する、請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
- 前記第1の燃料噴射手段は、筒内噴射用インジェクタであって、
前記第2の燃料噴射手段は、吸気通路用インジェクタである、請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
