Claims (7)
- 電動式のアクチュエータを用いて吸気弁の作動角を連続的に変更可能な第1可変動弁機構と、油圧式のアクチュエータを用いて上記作動角の中心角を連続的に変更可能な第2可変動弁機構と、を備え、主に吸気弁の作動角および中心角の変更によって吸入空気量を制御するとともに、機関始動時には、所定の始動時作動角および所定の始動時中心角が用いられ、両者の組み合わせにより吸気弁閉時期が下死点前となる内燃機関の吸気弁駆動制御装置において、
機関始動時のスタータモータによるクランキング中に、上記第2可変動弁機構による現在の中心角が上記始動時中心角よりも進角側にある場合に、吸気弁閉時期が下死点に近づくように上記第1可変動弁機構の作動角を上記始動時作動角から拡大補正することを特徴とする内燃機関の吸気弁駆動制御装置。 - 現在の中心角と始動時中心角との乖離量が大きいほど、作動角の拡大補正量を大きくすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の吸気弁駆動制御装置。
- 拡大補正後の作動角が、上記第1可変動弁機構の最大作動角より小さな所定の作動角に制限されることを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の内燃機関の吸気弁駆動制御装置。
- 上記第2可変動弁機構の最遅角位置における最遅角中心角が上記始動時中心角であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の内燃機関の吸気弁駆動制御装置。
- 機関停止中に上記第2可変動弁機構を上記最遅角位置に固定保持する保持機構を備えていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の内燃機関の吸気弁駆動制御装置。
- 機関停止時の中心角を記憶する記憶装置を備え、
機関始動時に、上記記憶装置に記憶された中心角を現在の中心角とみなして作動角の補正を行うことを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の内燃機関の吸気弁駆動制御装置。 - 上記可変動弁機構の位置補正開始から所定の期間、燃料噴射を禁止することを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の内燃機関の吸気弁駆動制御装置。
