Description
エンジンと、第1および第2のモータジェネレータと、動力分割機構と、蓄電装置と、電力変換ユニットとを備える。エンジンは、燃料の燃焼によって作動する。動力分割機構は、エンジンの出力軸、第1のモータジェネレータの出力軸および出力部材とそれぞれ結合された複数の回転要素を互いに相対回転可能に連結し、かつ、第1のモータジェネレータによる電力および動力の入出力を伴ってエンジンからの出力の少なくとも一部を出力部材へ出力する。第2のモータジェネレータは、出力部材から駆動輪までの間で動力を加える。電力変換ユニットは、蓄電装置ならびに第1および第2のジェネレータと接続されて双方向の電力変換を行なう。そして、制御装置は、回転数検知手段と、電力収支制御手段とを備える。回転数検知手段は、第1のモータジェネレータの回転数を検知する。電力収支制御手段は、エンジンの出力トルク低下に伴い第1のモータジェネレータの回転数が所定以上低下したときに、第1および第2のモータジェネレータの入出力電力の和が所定範囲内に制限されるように電力変換ユニットを制御する。
図1は、本発明に従う制御装置を搭載したハイブリッド車両の全体構成を示す概略ブロック図である。
次に、モータジェネレータMG1,MG2の制御構成について説明する。
図3を参照して、電力変換ユニット20は、コンデンサC1,C2と、昇圧コンバータ12と、インバータ14,22と、電流センサ24,28とを含む。
バッテリ10の電源ラインに接続され、他方端はIGBT素子Q1とIGBT素子Q2との中間点、すなわち、IGBT素子Q1のエミッタとIGBT素子Q2のコレクタとの間に接続される。IGBT素子Q1,Q2は、電源ラインとアースラインとの間に直列に接続される。そして、IGBT素子Q1のコレクタは電源ラインに接続され、IGBT素子Q2のエミッタはアースラインに接続される。また、各IGBT素子Q1,Q2のコレクタ−エミッタ間には、エミッタ側からコレクタ側へ電流を流すダイオードD1,D2がそれぞれ接続されている。
電圧センサ11は、バッテリ10から出力される直流電圧Vbを検出し、その検出した直流電圧VbをMG−ECU35へ出力する。コンデンサC1は、バッテリ10から供給された直流電圧Vbを平滑化し、その平滑化した直流電圧Vbを昇圧コンバータ12へ供給する。
図4に示すように、本発明の実施の形態では、モータジェネレータMG1,MG2の制御、すなわち、インバータ14,22における電力変換について、3つの制御モードを切換えて使用する。
上述のように構成されたハイブリッド車両では、動力分割機構PSDによる差動動作により、モータジェネレータMG1の回転数、エンジンENGの回転数および出力部材(リングギヤケース)155の回転数は、図5の共線図に示されるように、出力部材155に対するモータジェネレータMG1およびエンジンENGの回転数差が、一定比率を維持するように、それぞれの回転数が変化する。
図10は、本実施の形態によるMG1回転数低下時の電力収支制御の第3の例を説明するフローチャートである。
Claims (6)
- 燃料の燃焼によって作動するエンジンと、前記エンジンの出力軸、第1のモータジェネレータの出力軸および出力部材とそれぞれ結合された複数の回転要素を互いに相対回転可能に連結し、かつ、前記第1のモータジェネレータによる電力および動力の入出力を伴って前記エンジンからの出力の少なくとも一部を前記出力部材へ出力する動力分割機構と、前記出力部材から駆動輪までの間で動力を加える第2のモータジェネレータと、蓄電装置ならびに前記第1および前記第2のジェネレータと接続されて双方向の電力変換を行なう電力変換ユニットとを備えるハイブリッド車両の制御装置であって、
前記第1のモータジェネレータの回転数を検知する回転数検知手段と、
前記エンジンの出力トルク低下に伴い前記第1のモータジェネレータの回転数が所定以上低下したときに、前記第1および第2のモータジェネレータの入出力電力の和が所定範囲内に制限されるように前記電力変換ユニットを制御するための電力収支制御手段とを備える、ハイブリッド車両の制御装置。 - 前記電力収支制御手段は、前記第1のモータジェネレータの回転数が所定以上低下したときに、前記第1のモータジェネレータによる発電電力が増加するように、前記第1のモータジェネレータの出力トルクの絶対値を変化させる、請求項1記載のハイブリッド車両の制御装置。
- 前記電力収支制御手段は、前記第1のモータジェネレータの回転数が所定以上低下したときに、前記第2のモータジェネレータによる消費電力が減少するように、前記第2のモータジェネレータの出力トルクの絶対値を変化させる、請求項1記載のハイブリッド車両の制御装置。
- 前記蓄電装置は、直流電圧を入出力し、
前記電力変換ユニットは、前記蓄電装置と前記第1および第2のジェネレータとの間にそれぞれ設けられた第1および第2のインバータを含み、
前記第1および第2のインバータの各々は、対応の前記モータジェネレータに矩形波電圧を印加するようにスイッチング制御される第1の制御モードと、パルス幅変調制御に従って対応の前記モータジェネレータへの印加電圧を制御する第2の制御モードとを選択的に適用され、
前記電力収支制御手段は、前記第1のモータジェネレータの回転数が所定以上低下したときに、前記第1のモータジェネレータの制御モードを強制的に前記第2の制御モードとする、請求項1記載のハイブリッド車両の制御装置。 - 前記蓄電装置は、直流電圧を入出力し、
前記電力変換ユニットは、
前記蓄電装置と直流電源配線との間に設けられて、前記直流電圧の出力電圧を昇圧して前記直流電源配線へ出力可能に構成されたコンバータと、
前記直流電源配線と前記第1および第2のジェネレータとの間にそれぞれ接続されて双方向の電力変換を行なう第1および第2のインバータとを含み、
前記電力収支制御手段は、前記第1のモータジェネレータの回転数が所定以上低下したときに、前記コンバータに対する前記直流電源配線への出力電圧指令値を、現在値よりも低下させる、請求項1記載のハイブリッド車両の制御装置。 - 前記動力分割機構は、前記エンジンの出力軸が結合されたキャリアと、前記出力部材が結合されたリングギヤと、前記第1のモータジェネレータの出力軸が結合されたサンギヤとを前記複数の回転要素として有する遊星歯車機構を含む、請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載のハイブリッド車両の制御装置。
