Description
駆動軸を駆動する駆動装置であって、
前記駆動軸に動力を入出力する発電可能な電動機と、
前記電動機を駆動する駆動回路と、
電圧変換器を介して前記駆動回路に接続された二次電池と、該電圧変換器と該駆動回路とを接続する電力系統と電力をやり取り可能なキャパシタと、該電力系統と該キャパシタとに介在する接続スイッチとを有する電源システムと、
前記駆動軸に要求される要求動力に基づく動力が該駆動軸に出力されるよう前記駆動回路と前記電圧変換器と前記接続スイッチとを駆動制御する駆動制御手段と
を備えることを要旨とする。
上述した各態様のいずれかの本発明の駆動装置、即ち、基本的には、駆動軸を駆動する駆動装置であって、前記駆動軸に動力を入出力する発電可能な電動機と、前記電動機を駆動する駆動回路と、電圧変換器を介して前記駆動回路に接続された二次電池と該電圧変換器と該駆動回路とを接続する電力系統と電力をやり取り可能なキャパシタと該電力系統と該キャパシタとに介在する接続スイッチとを有する電源システムと、前記駆動軸に要求される要求動力に基づく動力が該駆動軸に出力されるよう前記駆動回路と前記電圧変換器と前記接続スイッチとを駆動制御する駆動制御手段とを備える駆動装置を搭載し、前記駆動軸に車軸が接続されて走行する
ことを要旨とする。

Claims (12)
- 駆動軸を駆動する駆動装置であって、
前記駆動軸に動力を入出力する発電可能な電動機と、
前記電動機を駆動する駆動回路と、
電圧変換器を介して前記駆動回路に接続された二次電池と、該電圧変換器と該駆動回路とを接続する電力系統と電力をやり取り可能なキャパシタと、該電力系統と該キャパシタとに介在する接続スイッチとを有する電源システムと、
前記駆動軸に要求される要求動力に基づく動力が該駆動軸に出力されるよう前記駆動回路と前記電圧変換器と前記接続スイッチとを駆動制御する駆動制御手段と、
前記キャパシタの端子間電圧を検出する電圧検出手段と、
を備え、
前記駆動制御手段は、前記接続スイッチが遮断されているときに前記電動機の回生制御が要求されたとき、該電動機が回生制御されるよう前記駆動回路を駆動制御すると共に前記電力系統に作用する電圧が前記検出されたキャパシタの端子間電圧に近づくよう前記電圧変換器を駆動制御し、該駆動制御した後に前記接続スイッチが接続されると共に前記電動機により回生された電力が前記キャパシタに充電されるよう前記接続スイッチと前記電圧変換器とを駆動制御する手段である
駆動装置。 - 前記駆動制御手段は、前記電力系統に作用する電圧が前記検出されたキャパシタの端子間電圧に略一致するよう前記電圧変換器を駆動制御する手段である請求項1記載の駆動装置。
- 前記接続スイッチは、前記キャパシタを充電する方向に取り付けられた半導体スイッチと、該半導体スイッチに逆方向に並列接続されたダイオードとにより構成されてなる請求項1または2記載の駆動装置。
- 前記駆動制御手段は、前記要求動力に基づいて前記二次電池および前記キャパシタの少なくとも一方から前記駆動回路に給電されるよう前記半導体スイッチと前記電圧変換器とを駆動制御する手段である請求項3記載の駆動装置。
- 前記駆動制御手段は、前記二次電池の出力制限の範囲内で前記要求動力に基づく動力を前記駆動軸に出力可能なときには前記二次電池から前記駆動回路に給電されると共に前記キャパシタから前記駆動回路に給電されないよう前記半導体スイッチと前記電圧変換器とを駆動制御し、前記二次電池の出力制限の範囲内で前記要求動力に基づく動力を前記駆動軸に出力可能でないときには前記二次電池および前記キャパシタから前記駆動回路に給電されるよう前記電圧変換器を駆動制御する手段である請求項4記載の駆動装置。
- 前記駆動制御手段は、前記キャパシタの端子間電圧が所定電圧未満のときには、該キャパシタが前記電力系統から電気的に遮断されるよう前記半導体スイッチと前記電圧変換器とを駆動制御する手段である請求項3ないし5いずれか1項に記載の駆動装置。
- 請求項1ないし6いずれか1項に記載の駆動装置であって、
内燃機関と、
該内燃機関からの動力により発電して前記駆動回路に供給可能な発電手段と、
を備える駆動装置。 - 請求項7記載の駆動装置であって、
前記接続スイッチは、前記キャパシタを充電する方向に取り付けられた半導体スイッチと、該半導体スイッチに逆方向に並列接続されたダイオードとにより構成されてなり、
前記駆動制御手段は、前記要求動力が所定動力以上のとき、該要求動力を出力するために前記内燃機関と前記発電手段とを運転制御し、該内燃機関から出力されている動力と前記要求動力とに基づいて前記二次電池および前記キャパシタの少なくとも一方から前記駆動回路に給電されるよう前記半導体スイッチと前記電圧変換器とを駆動制御し、前記要求動力に基づく動力が前記駆動軸に出力されるよう前記駆動回路を駆動制御する手段である
駆動装置。 - 前記駆動制御手段は、前記内燃機関から出力されている動力および前記二次電池の出力制限の範囲内で前記要求動力に基づく動力を前記駆動軸に出力可能なときには前記二次電池から前記駆動回路に給電されると共に前記キャパシタから前記駆動回路に給電されないよう前記半導体スイッチと前記電圧変換器とを駆動制御し、前記内燃機関から出力されている動力および前記二次電池の出力制限の範囲内で前記要求動力に基づく動力を前記駆動軸に出力可能でないときには前記二次電池および前記キャパシタから前記駆動回路に給電されるよう前記半導体スイッチと前記電圧変換器とを駆動制御する手段である請求項8記載の駆動装置。
- 前記発電手段は、前記内燃機関の出力軸と前記駆動軸と第3の回転軸の3軸に接続され、該3軸のうちいずれか2軸に入出力される動力に基づく動力を残余の1軸に入出力させる3軸式の動力入出力手段と、前記第3の回転軸に動力を入出力可能な発電機と、を備える手段である請求項7ないし9いずれか1項に記載の駆動装置。
- 前記発電手段は、前記内燃機関の出力軸に接続された第1の回転子と前記駆動軸に接続された第2の回転子とを有し該第1の回転子と該第2の回転子との電磁的な作用により両回転子を相対的に回転させる対回転子電動機である請求項7ないし9いずれか1項に記載の駆動装置。
- 請求項1ないし11いずれか1項に記載の駆動装置を搭載し、前記駆動軸に車軸が接続されて
走行する自動車。
