Description
図1は、この発明の実施の形態に係る蓄電機構の充放電制御装置を搭載した電動車両の概略構成図である。
次に、図2を参照して、本実施の形態に従う蓄電機構の充放電制御装置におけるリセット動作を実現するための制御構造について説明する。
図5を参照して、時刻t1において、外部電源により充電可能な状態になったとする。ここで、第1蓄電部10に対するリセット要求(SOC1リセット要求)が発せられると、リセット対象の第1蓄電部10を放電するように電流制御が行なわれる。具体的には、時刻t1以降では、リセット対象の第1蓄電部10の放電電流が一定電流値に維持されるとともに、残余の第2蓄電部20は、少なくとも第1蓄電部10の放電電流を含む充電電流で充電される。
図7を参照して、第1蓄電部10のリセット動作中において、電池ブロックB11〜B1nを一定電流I1で放電すると、電池ブロックB11〜B1nの電池電圧Vb11〜Vb1nは、互いに異なる時間的変化を示す。したがって、電池ブロックB11の電池電圧Vb11がリセット電圧Vr1を下回った時点(時刻t2)では、他の電池ブロックB1i,B1j,B1k(i,j,kは1を除くn以下の自然数)の電池電圧Vb1i,Vb1j,Vb1kはいずれも、未だリセット電圧Vr1に達しておらず、リセット電圧Vr1に対する電圧差を含んでいる。
以下、本発明の実施の形態の変更例について説明する。変更例1は、リセット動作中におけるSOCの低下率を、リセット動作開始時の電池温度に応じて変化させる点で、前述の実施の形態と相違する。その他の構造については、前述の実施の形態と同じである。したがって、それらについての詳細な説明は繰り返さない。
蓄電部を保護しつつリセット動作を速やかに行なうためには、上記変更例1に係る制御構造の他に、以下に述べる変更例2に係る制御構造よっても実現することができる。変更例2は、電池温度に応じてリセット電圧を変更する点において、前述の実施の形態と相違する。その他の構造については、前述の実施の形態と同じである。したがって、それらについての詳細な説明は繰り返さない。
Claims (8)
- 駆動源に電力を供給するための蓄電機構と、
前記蓄電機構を充放電するための充放電制御装置とを備え、
前記蓄電機構は、充放電可能な複数の蓄電部を直列接続して構成され、
前記充放電制御装置は、
前記蓄電機構を一定の電流で放電するための放電手段と、
前記複数の蓄電部の各々についての残存容量を推定するとともに、前記放電手段による前記蓄電機構の放電中に、前記複数の蓄電部の電圧値の時間的変化に基づく所定のタイミングで、前記複数の蓄電部の残存容量をそれぞれリセットするための残存容量推定手段とを含み、
前記残存容量推定手段は、前記所定のタイミングにおける前記複数の蓄電部の電圧値および温度に基づいて前記複数の蓄電部のそれぞれについての複数の基準値を設定し、前記複数の蓄電部の残存容量を設定された前記複数の基準値にそれぞれリセットする、電動車両。 - 前記放電手段は、前記所定のタイミングを、前記複数の蓄電部のうちのいずれか1つの蓄電部の電圧値が所定の基準電圧に達したタイミングに設定し、
前記残存容量推定手段は、
前記蓄電部の電圧値が前記所定の基準電圧となるときの前記蓄電部の温度と前記蓄電部の残存容量との関係を予め保持しており、当該関係を参照して、前記いずれか1つの蓄電部についての基準値を設定する第1の設定手段と、
前記残余の蓄電部の電圧値に基づいて前記いずれか1つの蓄電部についての基準値を補正することにより、各前記残余の蓄電部についての基準値を設定する第2の設定手段とを含む、請求項1に記載の電動車両。 - 前記第2の設定手段は、前記一定の電流で前記蓄電部を放電したときの前記蓄電部の電圧値と前記蓄電部の残存容量との関係を予め保持しており、当該関係を参照して前記残余の蓄電部と前記いずれか1つの蓄電部との残存容量の差を推定する、請求項2に記載の電動車両。
- 前記放電手段は、前記蓄電機構が放電可能な状態にされたときの前記複数の蓄電部の温度に応じて、前記蓄電機構の放電電流を可変とする、請求項1から請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の電動車両。
- 前記放電手段は、前記複数の蓄電部の電圧値に応じて、前記蓄電機構の放電電流を可変とする、請求項4に記載の電動車両。
- 前記残存容量推定手段は、前記所定の基準電圧を、前記蓄電機構が放電可能な状態にされたときの前記複数の蓄電部の温度に応じて可変とする、請求項2に記載の電動車両。
- 外部電源からの電力を受けて前記蓄電機構を外部充電するための充電部をさらに備え、
前記放電手段は、前記蓄電機構が外部電源により充電可能な状態にされたときに、前記蓄電機構を一定の電流で放電し、
前記充放電制御装置は、前記複数の蓄電部の残存容量が前記基準値にリセットされた後に、前記蓄電機構を外部充電するための充電手段をさらに含む、請求項1から請求項6のいずれか1項に記載の電動車両。 - 前記蓄電機構は、互いに並列に接続され、かつ、各々が前記複数の蓄電部を直列接続して構成された複数の蓄電装置を含み、
前記複数の蓄電装置にそれぞれ対応付けられた複数の電圧変換部をさらに備え、
前記放電手段は、前記複数の蓄電装置が外部電源により充電可能な状態にされたときに
、前記複数の蓄電装置のうち第1の蓄電装置から放電されるように対応の電圧変換部を制御するとともに、残余の蓄電装置が少なくとも前記第1の蓄電装置からの放電電流で充電されるように対応の電圧変換部を制御する、請求項7に記載の電動車両。
