Claims (3)
- アウターケースの被取付け部に外嵌して取付けられる筒状の大径側取付け部と、シャフトに取付けられる小径側取付け部と、これらを連結する蛇腹部とを備え、前記大径側取付け部の外周面が断面円形状をなすとともに、前記大径側取付け部の内周部に径方向内方側に向けて突出する複数の凸部が周方向に分散させて設けられ、前記アウターケースの被取付け部に形成した複数の凹部に前記複数の凸部を各別に外嵌可能に構成してあるジョイントブーツであって、
前記大径側取付け部が前記蛇腹部とは別体に形成され、前記大径側取付け部に外嵌する嵌合筒部が前記蛇腹部の一端部に延設され、
前記凸部において大径側取付け部は、径方向内方に湾曲状に張り出して前記凹部に嵌合する内側壁部と、大径側取付け部の外周面の一部を構成する円弧状の外側壁部と、これら内側壁部と外側壁部を両者の周方向中央で連結する径方向に延びる中央支持壁と、該中央支持壁の両側において前記内側壁部と前記外側壁部を連結する左右一対のサイド支持壁とを備え、これにより前記凸部に4つの肉抜き穴が周方向に並んで設けられ、
前記肉抜き穴が、大径側取付け部の一端面側に開口し周方向に並ぶ4つの第1肉抜き穴と、他端面側に開口し周方向に並ぶ4つの第2肉抜き穴とからなり、前記第1肉抜き穴と前記第2肉抜き穴との間を仕切る壁部により前記内側壁部を支持する周方向に延びる第3支持壁が設けられ、
前記第3支持壁の肉厚が、前記第1肉抜き穴同士を仕切る第1の中央支持壁およびサイド支持壁の肉厚と、前記第2肉抜き穴同士を仕切る第2の中央支持壁およびサイド支持壁の肉厚と、前記内側壁部の肉厚とのいずれよりも厚く設定してあるジョイントブーツ。 - アウターケースの被取付け部に外嵌して取付けられる筒状の大径側取付け部と、シャフトに取付けられる小径側取付け部と、これらを連結する蛇腹部とを備え、前記大径側取付け部の外周面が断面円形状をなすとともに、前記大径側取付け部の内周部に径方向内方側に向けて突出する複数の凸部が周方向に分散させて設けられ、前記アウターケースの被取付け部に形成した複数の凹部に前記複数の凸部を各別に外嵌可能に構成してあるジョイントブーツであって、
前記大径側取付け部が前記蛇腹部とは別体に形成され、前記大径側取付け部に外嵌する嵌合筒部が前記蛇腹部の一端部に延設され、
前記凸部において大径側取付け部は、径方向内方に湾曲状に張り出して前記凹部に嵌合する内側壁部と、大径側取付け部の外周面の一部を構成する円弧状の外側壁部と、これら内側壁部と外側壁部を両者の周方向中央で連結する径方向に延びる中央支持壁と、該中央支持壁の両側において前記内側壁部と前記外側壁部を連結する左右一対のサイド支持壁とを備え、これにより前記凸部に4つの肉抜き穴が周方向に並んで設けられ、
前記嵌合筒部の端面を軸方向で受止め可能な拡径部が前記大径側取付け部の外周部に形成され、前記拡径部の前記軸方向における長さが、前記嵌合筒部の肉厚よりも長く、かつ、周方向で隣合う前記凸部間に位置する大径側取付け部の周壁の肉厚よりも長く設定してあるジョイントブーツ。 - 前記蛇腹部側の前記大径側取付け部の一端部を、前記蛇腹部側ほど小径のテーパー筒状に構成してある請求項2記載のジョイントブーツ。
