Claims (5)
- 自動車のフレーム用のフレーム組立体(10)の形成に使用される、少なくとも1つの他のフレーム構造と結合するためのフレーム構造であって、
略矩形の管状のフレーム部材(12,14,24,26)であって、対面側の壁と非対面側の壁を有するように形成されていて、これらの壁が内表面と外表面を有し、対面側の壁と非対面側の壁に同一線上に整列された開口(230,230)を有している、管状のフレーム部材(12,14,24,26)と、
一体に形成された締結部材受けスリーブ(232)であって、前記開口(230,230)の間に延在し、該締結部材受けスリーブ(232)の内部を通して締結部材(246)を受けるように構成され配設され、該フレーム構造が少なくとも1つの他のフレーム構造と結合することを可能ならしめている締結部材受けスリーブ(232)を具備し、
締結部材受けスリーブ(232)は整列された開口(230)の一つを周囲するように対面側の壁の内面に溶接される一つの端部(236)を有し、
締結部材受けスリーブ(232)は前記一つの端部(236)からフレーム部材(12,14,24,26)の内側を通って延伸する中間部分(240)を有し、
締結部材受けスリーブ(232)は整列された開口(230,230)の一方(230)を通って延伸して前記一つの端部(236)と反対の端部がフレーム部材(12,14,24,26)の内側から外に向かって配設され、該反対の端部が、半径方向外側に拡大されたフランジ部(242)を有し、該フランジ部(242)は、フレーム構造を少なくとも1つの他のフレーム構造と結合するために使用される締結部材(246)のヘッド(248)により係着されるように構成され、配置されている、
ことを特徴とするフレーム構造。 - 締結部材受けスリーブ(232)が前記中間部分(240)に沿ってネジを切られている、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフレーム構造。
- 前記フランジ部(242)が略環状の形を有し、対面しない壁の外表面の開口(230)の周りに溶接される、ことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のフレーム構造。
- 前記管状のフレーム部材(12,14,24,26)が管状の金属材料(300)からハイドロフォーミング処理の間に形成され、該ハイドロフォーミング処理では液体圧力が管状の金属材料(300)を半径方向に拡大すべく管状の金属材料(300)の内面に提供され、それによってフレーム部材(12,14,24,26)がハイドロフォーミング処理前のオリジナルの管状の金属材料(300)から変形された周囲形状を有する、ことを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか一つに記載のフレーム構造。
- 対面側の壁の開口(230)が、非対面側の壁の開口(230)よりも小さくされ、締結部材受けスリーブ(232)の一方の端部(236)が中間部(240)よりも大きい断面直径を有している、ことを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか一つに記載のフレーム構造。
