Description
(1−1)車載装置の全体構成
図1は、本発明の実施例に係る車載装置1に係るコンテンツ提供システムを示す斜視図である。この車載装置1は、ナビゲーション装置の機能と、オーディオ、ビデオを再生するコンテンツ提供装置の機能とを有するマルチメディア端末であり、所定厚みによる板形状により形成され、矢印Aにより示すように、車両のセンターコンソールに設けられた車載用クレードル2Aにセットして使用できるようになされている。
図3は、このリモートコマンダー40を示す平面図及び側面図である。リモートコマンダー40は、所定厚みによる細長い板形状により形成され、その短辺側の1端面に赤外線による遠隔制御信号を出力する送光部41が設けられる。リモートコマンダー40は、送光部41が設けられている側より、上側面の左側に、地図表示においてズームアウト、ズームインの切り換えに供するシーソースイッチによる操作子42が設けられる。またこの操作子42に近接して、押圧操作可能なポインティングディバイスであるジョイステック43が設けられる。またジョイステック43の右側に、上方よりディスプレイ、地図の操作子16R、17Rが設けられる。またこれらの操作子より手前側に、現在位置の表示を指示する現在位置の操作子44が横長に形成され、これらよりリモートコマンダー40では、ナビゲーションに係る操作子42、43、44がまとめられて、地図の操作子17Rの近傍に配置されるようになされている。
図4は、このコントローラ33の制御により表示画面11に表示されるタッチパネル用のプログラムメニュー画面を示す平面図である。ここでこのタッチパネル用のプログラムメニュー画面は、タッチパネル39の操作に適したメニュー画面であり、この実施例では、このタッチパネル用のプログラムメニュー画面と同一の機能を担い、かつリモートコマンダー40の操作に適したリモートコマンダー用のプログラムメニュー画面が用意されるようになされている。コントローラ33は、このプログラムメニュー画面の表示を指示するユーザーによる操作が、タッチパネル39による操作を意図したものであると判断できる場合、このタッチパネル用のプログラムメニュー画面を表示する。
以上の構成において、この車載装置1では(図1及び図2)、車内に設けられた車載用クレードル2Aに載置することにより、車両より電源の供給を受け、また車両に設けられた外部ユニット21、カーオーディオ装置28等に接続され、これにより車両で使用可能となる。車載装置1では、電源スイッチ12の操作により電源が立ち上げられ、ナビゲーションに利用できるようになされ、またハードディスク装置35に記録された音楽、映像コンテンツ、テレビジョン放送によるコンテンツを楽しむことができ、さらには現在位置を確認することができる。
以上の構成によれば、タッチパネルによる操作に適したタッチパネル用のメニュー画面と、リモートコマンダーによる操作に適したリモートコマンダー用のメニュー画面とを切り換えて表示してユーザーによる操作を受け付けることにより、タッチパネル及びリモートコマンダーにより操作を受け付ける場合に、ユーザーによる使い勝手を向上することができる。
Claims (2)
- 表示画面に複数のメニューを表示し、タッチパネル及びリモートコマンダーの操作による前記メニューの選択に応動して、前記メニューに対応する処理を実行する車載装置において、
前記タッチパネルによる操作に適するように前記複数のメニューを配置したタッチパネル用のメニュー画面と、前記タッチパネル用のメニュー画面に配置した前記複数のメニューを前記リモートコマンダーによる操作に適するように配置したリモートコマンダー用のメニュー画面とを、ユーザーによる操作に応動して切り換えて表示し、
該切り換えて表示した前記タッチパネル用及び前記リモートコマンダー用のメニュー画面により前記ユーザーによる操作を受け付け、
前記タッチパネル用のメニュー画面から前記リモートコマンダー用のメニュー画面への切り換えを、前記リモートコマンダーの操作により実行し、
前記リモートコマンダー用のメニュー画面から前記タッチパネル用のメニュー画面への切り換えを、前記タッチパネルの操作により実行し、
前記タッチパネル用のメニュー画面が、
前記複数のメニューを同一の大きさで配列した画面であり、
前記リモートコマンダー用のメニュー画面が、
前記タッチパネル用のメニュー画面に配置した前記複数のメニューを円形形状に配置したメニュー画面であって、
前記円形形状の配置における特定箇所にフォーカスしているメニューを最も大きな大きさで表示し、
前記フォーカスしているメニューから遠ざかるに従ってメニューの大きさが小さくなり、
前記リモートコマンダーの操作によるフォーカスの切り換えにより、メニューの表示位置が回転するメニュー画面である
ことを特徴とする車載装置。 - 表示画面に複数のメニューを表示し、タッチパネル及びリモートコマンダーの操作による前記メニューの選択に応動して、前記メニューに対応する処理を実行する車載装置の制御方法において、
前記タッチパネルによる操作に適するように前記複数のメニューを配置したタッチパネル用のメニュー画面と、前記タッチパネル用のメニュー画面に配置した前記複数のメニューを前記リモートコマンダーによる操作に適するように配置したリモートコマンダー用のメニュー画面とを、ユーザーによる操作に応動して切り換えて表示する表示切り換えステップと、
該切り換えて表示した前記タッチパネル用及び前記リモートコマンダー用のメニュー画面により前記ユーザーによる操作を受け付ける操作受け付けステップとを有し、
前記表示切り換えステップは、
前記タッチパネル用のメニュー画面から前記リモートコマンダー用のメニュー画面への切り換えを、前記リモートコマンダーの操作により実行し、
前記リモートコマンダー用のメニュー画面から前記タッチパネル用のメニュー画面への切り換えを、前記タッチパネルの操作により実行し、
前記タッチパネル用のメニュー画面が、
前記複数のメニューを同一の大きさで配列した画面であり、
前記リモートコマンダー用のメニュー画面が、
前記タッチパネル用のメニュー画面に配置した前記複数のメニューを円形形状に配置したメニュー画面であって、
前記円形形状の配置における特定箇所にフォーカスしているメニューを最も大きな大きさで表示し、
前記フォーカスしているメニューから遠ざかるに従ってメニューの大きさが小さくなり、
前記リモートコマンダーの操作によるフォーカスの切り換えにより、メニューの表示位置が回転するメニュー画面である
ことを特徴とする車載装置の制御方法。
