Description
本実施形態は、図2(a)に示すように1列に並んだ複数(例えば40本)の同軸ケーブルCが接続されるヘッダ1と、プリント配線板Pに実装されヘッダ1に着脱自在に結合するソケット2とからなり、図2(b)に示すようにヘッダ1とソケット2とが結合した時に上記同軸ケーブルCとプリント配線板Pとを電気的に接続する。そして、図3に示すように、ヘッダ1において同軸ケーブルCの心線C1が接続されるポスト11の端子部11aを、同軸ケーブルCが並ぶ方向(以下、これを左右方向とする。)に一直線状に並べて配置することにより、糸はんだを用いた一括はんだ付けを容易としたものである。
実施形態1では、挿入凸部としてのボディ12の本体部12aが、挿入凹部22aに対して、プリント配線板Pの実装面に直交する方向(図8での上下方向)に挿入されていたのに対し、本実施形態のヘッダ4(図15参照)の挿入凸部42aは、ソケット5(図18参照)の挿入凹部53aに対してプリント配線板(図示せず)の実装面に沿った方向に結合する。

Claims (1)
- それぞれ導電材料からなり長細い形状に形成され向きを揃えて並んだ複数の電線のうちの1本が接続される端子部を長手方向の一端部に有する複数のポストと、ポストがインサート成形された合成樹脂成形品からなるボディとを有するヘッダと、それぞれ導電材料からなりポストに接触可能な複数のコンタクト及び絶縁材料からなりコンタクトを保持するハウジングを有しヘッダに着脱自在に結合するソケットとを備え、
ボディとハウジングとは、挿入凸部又は挿入凸部が挿入される挿入凹部の一方ずつを有し、互いに隣接する電線が接続される各2個のポストが、挿入凸部を挟んで互いに反対側においてそれぞれコンタクトに接触するようにポストとコンタクトとがそれぞれ配置されるとともに、
ポストの端子部が、電線が並ぶ方向に一直線状に並べて配置された電線接続用コネクタの製造方法であって、
フープ材に複数のポストをそれぞれ端子部とは反対側の端で連結された櫛歯状に形成する工程と、それぞれポストが形成された2枚のフープ材を互いのポストの端子部が交互に一直線状に並ぶように配置した状態で、前記2枚のフープ材に形成されたポストをボディにインサート成形する工程と、各ポストをそれぞれフープ材から切り離す工程とを有することを特徴とする電線接続用コネクタの製造方法。
