この特許文献1に記載のハイブリッド車両では、変速機に設けられた複数の摩擦式係合機構についてそれらの係合と解放とを切り替えて変速段を変更することにより、電動機から車輪側出力軸に伝達されるトルクを増減させるようにしている。そして、同文献に記載の制御装置では、変速段切替時の変速ショックを抑えるために、変速機の変速時において、変速前の電動機の回転速度を変速後の回転速度に向けて同期させる回転同期制御を行うようにしている。例えば、減速比が大きくなる側に変速段が切り替えられる場合には、変速段の切替過程において電動機の回転速度が徐々に高くなるようにその回転速度を調整し、減速比が小さくなる側に変速段が切り替えられる場合には、変速段の切替過程において電動機の回転速度が徐々に低くなるようにその回転速度を調整している。
請求項1に記載の発明は、内燃機関の動力を車輪側出力軸と発電機とに分配する動力分配機構と、電動機と、同電動機の動力を前記車輪側出力軸に伝達する変速機と、前記車輪側出力軸への動力伝達を遮断するニュートラル要求があるか否かを判定する判定手段とを備えるハイブリッド車両の制御装置であって、前記ニュートラル要求がある旨判定される場合には前記発電機及び前記電動機への通電を遮断するニュートラル制御を実行し、前記変速機の変速時には変速前の前記電動機の回転速度を変速後の回転速度に同期させる回転同期制御を実行する制御装置において、前記回転同期制御の実行中にニュートラル要求がある旨判定された場合には、前記ニュートラル制御の実行を遅延させる遅延手段を備えることをその要旨とする。
請求項4に記載の発明は、請求項3に記載のハイブリッド車両の制御装置において、前記ハイブリッド車両の走行中における前記回転同期制御の実行中に前記ニュートラル要求がある旨判定されたとき、前記遅延手段により前記ニュートラル制御の実行を遅延し、該遅延処理が終了した後に前記ニュートラル制御を実行することをその要旨とする。
請求項5に記載の発明は、請求項3または4に記載のハイブリッド車両の制御装置において、前記回転同期制御の実行中は前記変速段の切り替えに応じて前記係合機構を操作し、前記回転同期制御の実行中に前記ニュートラル制御の実行を遅延しているときにも前記変速段の切り替えに応じた前記係合機構の操作を継続することをその要旨とする。
図1に、上記制御装置が適用されるハイブリッド車両の概略構成を示す。このハイブリッド車両には動力を発生する動力源4が搭載されている。この動力源4は、内燃機関16、第1モータジェネレータ18、内燃機関16の動力を車輪側出力軸6と第1モータジェネレータ18とに分配する動力分配機構20等から構成されている。
(1)第2MG12に電力を供給してその回転速度を調整する回転同期制御の実行中にニュートラル要求がなされた場合、第1MG18及び第2MG12への通電を遮断するニュートラル制御の実行を遅延させるようにしている。従って、第2MG12の動力が変速機14を介して車輪側出力軸6に伝達されるハイブリッド車両において、回転同期制御の実行中に第2MG12への通電が遮断されることにより発生する変速機14の変速ショックを好適に抑えることができるようになる。
・回転同期制御の実行が終了するまでニュートラル制御の実行を禁止するようにした。すなわち、回転同期制御の実行が終了するまでニュートラル制御の実行を遅延させるようにした。ここで、回転同期制御の実行初期段階などのように、第2MG12の回転速度と同期回転速度との偏差が大きい状態においてニュートラル制御が実行されると、変速機14から大きな変速ショックが発生するおそれがある。一方、回転同期制御の実行完了間近などのように、第2MG12の回転速度と同期回転速度との偏差がある程度小さくなっている状態においてニュートラル制御が実行される場合には、同偏差が大きい状態でニュートラル制御が実行される場合と比較して、変速ショックはある程度小さくなる。そこで、ニュートラル制御を実行しても変速ショックがある程度抑えられる程度に(変速ショックが許容できる程度に)第2MG12の回転速度が同期回転速度に近づいたか否かを、上記偏差、あるいは回転同期制御が開始されてからの経過時間等に基づいて判定する。そして、変速ショックがある程度抑えられる程度に第2MG12の回転速度が同期回転速度に近づいていれば、回転同期制御の実行終了を待たずにニュートラル制御の実行を開始するようにしてもよい。この変形では、回転同期制御の実行中にニュートラル要求がなされた場合、第2MG12の回転速度と同期回転速度との偏差がある程度小さくなるまでニュートラル制御の実行が遅延される。そして、この場合にも、第2MG12の動力が変速機14を介して車輪側出力軸6に伝達されるハイブリッド車両において、回転同期制御の実行中に第2MG12への通電が遮断されることにより発生する変速機14の変速ショックを好適に抑えることができるようになる。
また、上記第1ブレーキB1及び第2ブレーキB2は、摩擦式の係合機構であったが、この他の係合機構でもよく、要は変速機14の変速段を切り替えることのできる係合機構であればよい。
Claims (5)
- 内燃機関の動力を車輪側出力軸と発電機とに分配する動力分配機構と、電動機と、同電動機の動力を前記車輪側出力軸に伝達する変速機と、前記車輪側出力軸への動力伝達を遮断するニュートラル要求があるか否かを判定する判定手段とを備えるハイブリッド車両の制御装置であって、前記ニュートラル要求がある旨判定される場合には前記発電機及び前記電動機への通電を遮断するニュートラル制御を実行し、前記変速機の変速時には変速前の前記電動機の回転速度を変速後の回転速度に同期させる回転同期制御を実行する制御装置において、
前記回転同期制御の実行中にニュートラル要求がある旨判定された場合には、前記ニュートラル制御の実行を遅延させる遅延手段を備える
ことを特徴とするハイブリッド車両の制御装置。 - 請求項1に記載のハイブリッド車両の制御装置において、
前記遅延手段は、前記回転同期制御の実行が終了するまで前記ニュートラル制御の実行を禁止する
ことを特徴とするハイブリッド車両の制御装置。 - 請求項1または2に記載のハイブリッド車両の制御装置において、
前記ニュートラル制御は、前記変速機の変速段を切り替える係合機構を操作することなく前記発電機及び前記電動機への通電の遮断を通じて前記ニュートラル要求に応えるものである
ことを特徴とするハイブリッド車両の制御装置。 - 請求項3に記載のハイブリッド車両の制御装置において、
前記ハイブリッド車両の走行中における前記回転同期制御の実行中に前記ニュートラル要求がある旨判定されたとき、前記遅延手段により前記ニュートラル制御の実行を遅延し、該遅延処理が終了した後に前記ニュートラル制御を実行する
ことを特徴とするハイブリッド車両の制御装置。 - 請求項3または4に記載のハイブリッド車両の制御装置において、
前記回転同期制御の実行中は前記変速段の切り替えに応じて前記係合機構を操作し、前記回転同期制御の実行中に前記ニュートラル制御の実行を遅延しているときにも前記変速段の切り替えに応じた前記係合機構の操作を継続する
ことを特徴とするハイブリッド車両の制御装置。
