Abstract
Description
活性試験
マイクロフロー反応器で活性試験を行った。ジメチルジスルフィド(dimethyl disulfide:DMDS)によってスパイクした軽油(Light Gas Oil:LGO)(S総含有量2.5wt%)を予備硫化に用いた。例A〜Eでは、S成分が1.4〜1.1wt%及びN成分が215〜200ppmであるストレートラン軽油(Straight-run Gas Oil:SRGO)を用いて、試験を行った。例Fでは、S成分が2.1wt%及びN成分が1760ppmNである真空軽油(Vacuum Gas Oil:VGO)を用いた。試験は、等容積触媒吸入により行った。種々の触媒の相対容積活性を次のように判定した。各触媒について、n次反応速度論(nth order kinetics)と、HDNについて1.0及びHDSについて1.2の反応次数とを用いて、容積反応定数kvolを算出した。次に、反応定数の比を取ることによって、本発明の異なる触媒対比較触媒の相対容積活性(relative volumetric activity:RVA)を算出した。
以下の手順で以下の担体を作成した。1つの担体を対照として調製した(S1、Al2O3)。各担体の特性の概要を表1に示す。
例A:種々の量及び種々の調製法によるTiO2添加がNiMo触媒の活性に及ぼす積極的効果
以下の例は、担体中のTiO2添加が、触媒調製において硫黄含有有機物と併用されたときのNiMo触媒の活性に及ぼす積極的効果を示している。例A1〜A12に示すように、同様の手法を使用して、触媒に金属及び硫黄含有有機添加剤を適用し、反応器内の金属の容積あたり充填量を同等として、触媒を調製した。等触媒容積において中圧超低硫黄ディーゼル条件下で、多反応器ユニットで触媒を試験した。表2は、予備硫化及び試験条件、表3は、活性結果を示す。
以下の例は、担体中のTiO2の添加が、調製において広範囲のTiO2成分で硫黄含有有機物と併用されたときのCoMo触媒の活性に及ぼす積極的効果を示している。触媒B1〜B10は全て同じ方法を用いて調製され、金属及びチオグリコール酸が触媒に適用され、反応器内の金属の容積あたり充填量は、同等とした。中圧超低硫黄ディーゼル条件下で、多反応器ユニットで触媒を試験した。表4は、予備硫化、表5は、活性結果を示す。
これらの例では、NiMo及びCoMo触媒の活性に対し、TiO2の添加とS含有有機添加剤の併用が及ぼす積極的効果が示されている。触媒例は、同じTi−Al担体及び異なる硫黄含有有機添加剤に基づいて4NiMo及び4CoMo級である。これらの触媒は、同じ方法を用いて調製され、金属が触媒に適用され、反応器内の金属の容積あたり充填量は、同等とした。中圧超低硫黄ディーゼル条件下で、多反応器ユニットで触媒を試験した。表6は、NiMo及びCoMo触媒の両方に用いた予備硫化及び試験条件、表7及び8は、得られた活性結果を示す。
以下の例では、硫黄有機物とTiO2/Al2O3担体の併用が触媒に相乗効果をもたらすことが示されている。硫黄有機物とTiO2/Al2O3担体を併用することの活性に対する利益は、別々の実験で測定される(i)TiO2/Al2O3担体、及び(ii)硫黄有機物の別々の貢献に基づいて期待される利益よりも高く、驚くべきものである。示されているNiMo触媒例は、同等の金属充填量を有し、中圧超低硫黄ディーゼル条件下で、多反応器ユニットで試験した。表9は、予備硫化及び試験条件についての実験設定を示し、表10は、異なる反応器に充填された触媒の量及び活性結果を示す。

以下の例では、S含有有機化合物とTiO2/Al2O3担体の併用が、広範囲の金属充填量のCoMo触媒に相乗効果をもたらすことが示されている。S含有有機化合物とTiO2/Al2O3担体を併用することの活性に対する利益は、(i)TiO2/Al2O3担体及び(ii)別々の実験で判定された有機化合物の別々の寄与に基づいて期待できる利益よりも高く、したがって、驚くべき結果と言える。中圧超低硫黄ディーゼル条件下で、多反応器ユニットでCoMo触媒を試験した。金属の容積あたり充填量を同等として、一組の例は試験された。第1の組は高い金属充填量を有し(例E1〜E4)、第2の組は低い金属充填量を有する(例E5〜E8)。表11及び13は、予備硫化及び試験条件についての実験設定、表12及び14は、異なる反応器に装填された触媒の量及び活性結果を示す。
以下の例は、触媒調製においてS含有有機化合物と併用する担体内へのTiO2添加がNiMo触媒の活性に与える積極的効果を示している。例F1〜F2に示すように、同様の手法を使用して、触媒に金属を適用し、反応器内の金属の容積あたり充填量を同等として、触媒を調製した。HC−PT条件下で、多反応器ユニットで各触媒を試験した。表15は、予備硫化及び試験条件、表16は、活性結果を示す。

- 少なくとも1つのVIB族金属成分と、
少なくとも1つのVIII族金属成分と、
少なくとも1つの硫黄含有有機添加剤成分と、
チタン含有キャリア成分と、を含み、
酸化物(TiO2)として表されるチタン成分の量は、触媒の総重量を基準として、約1〜約60wt%の範囲であることを特徴とする触媒。 - 酸化物として表される前記VIB族金属成分の量は、前記触媒の総重量を基準として、約15〜約30wt%であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の触媒。
- 酸化物として表される前記VIII族金属成分の量は、前記触媒の総重量を基準として、約2〜約8wt%であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の触媒。
- 前記VIB族金属成分は、モリブデン及び/又はタングステンを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の触媒。

前記チタン源の量は、少なくとも酸化物(TiO2)として表されるチタン成分の量が、前記触媒の総重量を基準として、約1〜約60wt%の範囲である触媒組成物を形成するために十分な量である方法。 - 更に、前記硫黄含有有機添加剤、前記少なくとも1つのVIB族金属源、及び/又は前記少なくとも1つのVIII族金属源を用いて含浸することを含み、前記含浸は、前記硫黄含有有機添加剤、前記少なくとも1つのVIB族金属源、及び/又は前記少なくとも1つのVIII族金属源を含む溶液を用いて、1回の工程で行われることを特徴とする請求項12、13又は16に記載の方法。
- 更に、前記硫黄含有有機添加剤、前記少なくとも1つのVIB族金属源、及び/又は前記少なくとも1つのVIII族金属源を用いて含浸することを含み、前記キャリアに、前記少なくとも1つのVIB族金属源及び/又は前記少なくとも1つのVIII族金属源を含む溶液を含浸させた後、前記キャリアに前記硫黄含有有機添加剤を含む溶液を含浸させる工程を行うことを特徴とする請求項12、13又は16に記載の方法。
- 前記チタン源は、硫酸チタニル、硫酸チタン、チタンアルコキシド、又はチタン(IV)ビス(乳酸アンモニウム)ジヒドロキシドからなる群より選択されることを特徴とする請求項12、13又は16に記載の方法。
- 水素化処理条件下で、炭化水素供給物を請求項1〜11のいずれかに記載の触媒と接触させ、前記炭化水素供給物を水素化処理することを含む方法。
