Abstract
Description
第1の実施の形態に係る二次電池30の模式的断面構造は、図1に示すように表される。第1の実施の形態に係る二次電池30は、第1電極(E1)(負極)12/n型半導体層14/負極活物質層16/固体電解質層18/正極活物質層22/第2電極(E2)(正極)26の構成を備える。
図2〜図7は、図1に例示した二次電池30の模式的断面構造における負極活物質層16、固体電解質層18、正極活物質層22の部分の模式的断面構造を例示している。
図8(a)〜図8(f)は、実施の形態に係る二次電池30の効果を検証するために用いた二次電池の部分的な模式的断面構造である。図8(a)は構造1(比較例)、図8(b)は構造2(実施例)、図8(c)は構造3(実施例)、図8(d)は構造4(実施例)、図8(e)は構造5(実施例)、図8(f)は構造6(比較例)をそれぞれ示す。
第2の実施の形態に係る二次電池30の模式的断面構造は、図16に示すように表される。
第3の実施の形態に係る二次電池30の模式的断面構造は、図17に示すように表される。第3の実施の形態に係る二次電池30は、第1電極(E1)(負極)12/n型半導体層14/負極活物質層16T/固体電解質層18/正極活物質層22/p型半導体層24/第2電極(E2)(正極)26の構成を備える。第2の実施の形態との違いは、負極活物質層16Tが酸化チタン化合物(TiOx)を有し、酸化シリコンを有さない点である。
上記のように、いくつかの実施の形態について記載したが、開示の一部をなす論述及び図面は例示的なものであり、限定するものであると理解すべきではない。この開示から当業者には様々な代替実施の形態、実施例及び運用技術が明らかとなろう。

Claims (16)
- 酸化タンタルを固体電解質として含む固体電解質層と、
前記固体電解質層の上面に配置され、水酸化ニッケル(Ni(OH)2)を正極活物質として含む正極活物質層と、
前記正極活物質層に対向して、前記固体電解質層の下面に配置され、酸化チタン(TiOx)を、又は酸化チタン(TiOx)と酸化シリコン(SiOx)とを負極活物質として含む負極活物質層とを備える、二次電池。 - 前記酸化タンタルは、Ta2Ox(x=4-5)を備える、請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記正極活物質層と前記固体電解質層との間及び前記負極活物質層と前記固体電解質層との間に界面改善用のバッファ層をそれぞれ備える、請求項1又は2に記載の二次電池。
- 前記正極活物質層と前記固体電解質層との間又は前記負極活物質層と前記固体電解質層との間に界面改善用のバッファ層を備える、請求項1又は2に記載の二次電池。
- 前記正極活物質層及び前記負極活物質層は、界面改善用のバッファ材料を含む、請求項1又は2に記載の二次電池。
- 前記正極活物質層又は前記負極活物質層は、界面改善用のバッファ材料を含む、請求項1又は2に記載の二次電池。
- 前記バッファ層は、酸化シリコン(SiOx)を含んで構成される、請求項3又は4に記載の二次電池。
- 前記バッファ層は、金属酸化物を更に含んで構成される、請求項7に記載の二次電池。
- 前記バッファ材料は、酸化シリコン(SiOx)を含む、請求項5又は6に記載の二次電池。
- 前記バッファ材料は、金属酸化物を更に含む、請求項9に記載の二次電池。
- 前記金属酸化物は、酸化スズ(SnO)、酸化アルミニウム(Al2O3)、ジルコニア(ZrO2)、酸化マグネシウム(MgO)、酸化リン(PxOy)の群から選ばれるいずれかを備える、請求項8に記載の二次電池。
- 前記正極活物質層の上面に配置された第2電極と、
前記第2電極に対向して、前記負極活物質層の下面に配置された第1電極と、を備える、請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載の二次電池。 - 前記正極活物質層と前記第2電極との間に、p型酸化物半導体層を更に備える、請求項12に記載の二次電池。
- 前記p型酸化物半導体層は、結晶構造を有する酸化ニッケルで構成される、請求項13に記載の二次電池。
- 前記負極活物質層と前記第1電極との間に、n型酸化物半導体層を更に備える、請求項14に記載の二次電池。
- 前記n型酸化物半導体層は、ルチル型の結晶構造、及びアナターゼ型の結晶構造のうち少なくとも1つの結晶構造を有する酸化チタンで構成される、請求項15に記載の二次電池。
