Abstract
Description
本願は、一般に無線充電システム並びにかかるシステム内で使用されるハードウェア及びソフトウェアコンポーネントに関する。
電子装置にエネルギを無線伝送する(受信機が伝送を消費し、それを電気エネルギに変換することができる)ために数多くの試みがなされてきた。しかし、従来の殆どの技法は任意の有意味の距離においてエネルギを伝送することができない。例えば磁気共鳴は、電力共振器に電子装置を結線することを必要とせずに装置に電力を与える。しかし、電子装置が電力共振器のコイルの近くに(即ち磁場内に)位置する必要がある。従来の他の解決策は、自分のモバイル装置を充電している利用者について利用者の移動性を予期しない場合があり、又はかかる解決策は装置がオペラビリティの小さな窓の外側にあることを認めない。
本明細書で開示するのは、当技術分野の欠点に対処することを目的とするシステム及び方法であり、これらのシステム及び方法は追加の又は代替的な利点をも提供し得る。本明細書で開示する実施形態は、その物理的な波形特性(例えば周波数、振幅、位相、利得、方向)を適切に選択する結果として、エネルギのポケットを発生させるために伝送場内の所定位置において収束する電力波を生成し伝送することができる。無線充電システムによって給電されている電子装置に関連する受信機はこれらのエネルギのポケットからエネルギを抽出し、受信機に関連する電子装置にとって使用可能な電力へとそのエネルギを変換することができる。エネルギのポケットは送信機装置の伝送場内の物理空間の三次元区域として生じることができ、そこではエネルギのポケット内に又はその近くに位置する受信機によってエネルギがハーベストされ得る。エネルギのポケットを何処に形成すべきか及び電力波を何処に伝送すべきでないかを決定するために、伝送場内の領域を識別するための技法を使用することができる。一例ではこの技法が、電力波を何処に伝送すべきでないか、及び代わりにヌル空間を何処に形成すべきかを送信機に知らせるために、受信機の近くにある1つ又は複数のオブジェクトを受信機が決定することをもたらし得る。更に別の例では、電力波が回避すべき1つ又は複数のオブジェクトを識別し得るセンサデータをセンサが生成することができる。このセンサデータは受信機によって生成される1つ又は複数のオブジェクトに関連する位置データと比較して追加形態又は代替形態のデータとすることができ、後で参照し又は計算するためにマッピングメモリ内に記憶することもできる。

Claims (20)
- 1つ又は複数のオブジェクトから反射され、受信機に対する前記1つ又は複数のオブジェクトのうちの個々のオブジェクトの位置を示す1つ又は複数のオブジェクト検出信号に基づき、前記1つ又は複数のオブジェクトに関連する位置データを前記受信機によって生成すること、
前記位置データを含む1つ又は複数の通信信号を前記受信機によって前記送信機に伝送すること、及び
1つ又は複数の波形特性を有する1つ又は複数の電力波を前記送信機の1つ又は複数のアンテナから前記受信機によって受信すること
を含み、
前記1つ又は複数の波形特性は個々のオブジェクトについて生成される前記位置データに基づく、無線電力伝送の方法。 - 前記1つ又は複数のオブジェクトに関連する前記位置データを生成することが、
複数のオブジェクト検出信号を前記受信機に結合される検出アンテナによって放射することであって、個々のオブジェクト検出信号は連続したステップ周波数を有する、放射すること
を更に含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記1つ又は複数のオブジェクトに関連する前記位置データを生成することが、

を更に含む、請求項2に記載の方法。 - 前記1つ又は複数のオブジェクトに関連する前記位置データを生成することが、
前記受信機を制御するように構成されるプロセッサにより、前記個々のオブジェクトから跳ね返る前記少なくとも1つのオブジェクト検出信号に基づいて前記受信機に対する前記1つ又は複数のオブジェクトの個々のオブジェクトの前記位置を決定すること
を更に含む、請求項3に記載の方法。 - 前記1つ又は複数の電力波の前記1つ又は複数の波形特性に基づいて1つ又は複数のヌル空間を形成するために前記1つ又は複数の電力波が相殺的に収束する、請求項1乃至4の何れか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記受信機が前記位置データを含む前記1つ又は複数の通信信号を前記送信機に伝送するように構成される通信コンポーネントに結合される、請求項1乃至5の何れか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記送信機の前記1つ又は複数のアンテナから受信される前記1つ又は複数の電力波によって充電されている電子装置内に前記受信機が埋め込まれる、請求項1乃至6の何れか一項に記載の方法。
- 複数のアウトバウンドオブジェクト検出信号を受信機の第1のアンテナによって放射することであって、個々のアウトバウンドオブジェクト検出信号は前のアウトバウンドオブジェクト検出信号に対して連続したステップ周波数を有する、放射すること、
1つ又は複数のオブジェクトから反射される1つ又は複数のインバウンドオブジェクト検出信号を前記受信機の第2のアンテナによって受信することであって、少なくとも1つのインバウンドオブジェクト検出信号は前記1つ又は複数のオブジェクトの個々のオブジェクトから反射され、前記受信機に対する前記個々のオブジェクトの位置を示す、受信すること、

を含む、無線電力伝送の方法。 - 前記1つ又は複数のオブジェクトから反射される前記受信される1つ又は複数のインバウンドオブジェクト検出信号のそれぞれが、前記受信機に対する前記オブジェクトの角度位置に基づく個々の位相位置及び前記受信機に対する個々の空間方向を有する、請求項8に記載の方法。

前記1つ又は複数のオブジェクトから反射される前記複数のインバウンド検出信号に基づいて前記1つ又は複数のオブジェクトの個々のオブジェクトに関連する位置データを生成するように構成されるプロセッサであって、個々のオブジェクトの個々の位置データは前記受信機に対する前記個々のオブジェクトの位置を示す、プロセッサと、
個々のオブジェクトに関連する前記位置データを含む通信信号を前記送信機に伝送するように構成される通信コンポーネントと、
前記1つ又は複数のオブジェクトの個々のオブジェクトに関連する前記位置データに基づいて前記受信機に近い位置において前記1つ又は複数の電力波を収束させる1つ又は複数の特性を有する1つ又は複数の電力波を前記送信機から受信するように構成される第3のアンテナと
を含む、無線電力伝送システム内の受信機。 - 前記複数のアウトバウンド検出信号が、継続的に変えられる周波数を有するチャープ波を含む、請求項15に記載の受信機。
- 前記1つ又は複数のインバウンド検出信号のうちの個々のインバウンド検出信号が、前記1つ又は複数のオブジェクトの個々のオブジェクトから反射され、前記受信機に対する前記個々のオブジェクトの角度位置に基づく位相位置及び前記受信機に対する前記個々のオブジェクトの空間方向を有する、請求項15乃至16の何れか一項に記載の受信機。
- 前記プロセッサが前記個々のインバウンド検出信号の前記位相位置に基づいて前記個々のオブジェクトに関連する個々の位置データを決定するように更に構成される、請求項17に記載の受信機。
- 前記複数のアウトバウンドオブジェクト検出信号の放射と、前記1つ又は複数のオブジェクトの個々のオブジェクトから反射される前記インバウンド検出信号の受信との間の遅れ時間を測定することによって前記プロセッサが個々のオブジェクトの個々の位置データを決定するように更に構成される、請求項15乃至18の何れか一項に記載の受信機。
