Description
このため、コードレス電話装置が無線機器に及ぼす影響を少なくするには、待機中での親機/子機間による無線通信の頻度を少なくすれば良い。
また、請求項1に記載の発明によれば、報知手段により通信可能な状態が使用者に報知されているのにもかかわらず、使用者が子機を操作しても通話することができない、ということを、確実に防止することができる。よって、使用者に違和感を感じさせてしまうのを防止することができる。
また、請求項1に記載の発明によれば、無線信号を送信する際に2種類の制御用無線チャンネルを交互に選択(使用)するので、1種類のみの制御用無線チャンネルしか使用しない無線機器への影響を防止できる。
また、請求項4に記載の発明では、信号強度検出手段に検出された今回の検出結果と信号強度検出手段に検出された前回の検出結果との差が所定値以上であれば、今回の検出結果と比較するための閾値を大きくする(第1閾値群から第2閾値群に変更する)ようにされている。
このため、請求項4に記載の発明によれば、2つの制御用無線チャンネルの信号強度に差が生じることにより、通信状況が更新されるたびに激しく変動してしまうのを防止することができる。
[第1実施形態]
図1は本発明のコードレス電話装置1の斜視図であり、図2(a)は子機50の背面を示す斜視図であり、図2(b)は充電台80の斜視図であり、図3はコードレス電話装置1の電気的構成を表すブロック図である。
充電台80は、図2(b)に示すように、子機50を着脱可能に載置する載置用凹部81aが形成された充電台本体81と、載置用凹部81a内に設けられ、子機50が載置用凹部81a内に載置されると充電用端子55に接触する充電用端子82とから構成される。
親機10は、親機10全体の動作を制御する制御部20,ハンドセット12,表示パネル13,操作ボタン14,子機50との間で音声信号やデータ信号(コマンド)を無線通信により送受信する無線通信部30等を備えている。
また、制御部20は、コードレス電話装置1外部から入出力する音声信号の伝送先および伝送元となる伝送経路を設定する。具体的に説明すると、ハンドセット12が親機10本体から取り外された場合には、伝送経路をハンドセット12に切り換え、子機50により通話を開始するための通話開始操作が行われた場合には、伝送経路を無線通信部30に切り換える。
また、無線通信制御部32は、親機10が子機50を電話回線網100に接続していない待機中に、子機50に親機10との通信状況を表示させるための通信状況表示指令を、周期的にコンパンダ36に出力すると共に、その通信状況表示指令の出力の度に制御チャンネルを変更し、その変更した制御チャンネルをRFモジュール38に選択させる。
また、制御部60は、親機10との間で無線通信を行うためのデータ信号をコンパンダ66に出力する。
また更に、制御部60は、子機50が親機10を介して電話回線網に接続されていない待機中に、コンパンダ66を介して通信状況表示指令を取得すると、この際RFモジュール68により検出される親機10からの無線信号(即ち、通信状況表示指令を含んだ無線信号)の信号強度を取得する。
図形生成用テーブルは、図4に示すように、0〜255の値を複数の閾値により5段階に分け、当該制御部60にて生成される図形が、各段階毎に関連付けられている。
次に、待機中に、親機10と子機50との間で行われる動作を、図5に基づいて説明する。
そして、S120にて、通信状況表示指令をコンパンダ36に出力する。
そして、続くS130では、通信状況表示指令に対して子機50から送信されてくる表示終了コマンドを受信するのを待ち、受信するとS140に進む。尚、本第1実施形態のS130では、所定時間経過しても表示終了コマンドを受信することができなかった場合には、当該表示指令送信処理を終了する。
そして、S240では、S230にて抽出された図形を表示パネル53に出力することにより、表示パネル53にその図形を表示させる。
次に、第2実施形態のコードレス電話装置について、図8を用いて説明する。尚、図8は、待機中に第2実施形態の子機50で実行される通信状況表示処理を表すフローチャートである。
S310では、親機10との通信状態が不能な状態であることを表す通信不能フラグがセットされているか否かを判定する。
そして、S330では、通信不能フラグをセットし、続くS340では、図形生成用テーブルを参照して、子機50が親機10と通信できない状態を表す図形(図4における一番上の図形)を抽出し、S240へ進む。
また、S310にて、通信フラグがセットされていると判定された場合には、S350へ進み、全ての制御チャンネルが既に選択されたことを表す全ch選択済フラグがセットされているか否かを判定する。
一方、S350にて、全ch選択済フラグがセットされていると判定された場合には、S370へ進み、全ch選択済フラグをリセットして、S380へ進む。
そして、S380にて、RSSI値の値が200以上ではないと判定された場合には、S340へ進み、逆に、RSSI値の値が200以上であると判定された場合には、S390へ進む。
そして、S400では、図形生成用テーブルを参照して、S220にて取得されたRSSI値に対応する図形を抽出し、S240へ進む。
以上説明したように、第2実施形態のコードレス電話装置では、2つの制御チャンネルにおけるRSSI値が共に所定レベル以上であった場合に、通信状況の表示を通常通り行い、逆に、制御チャンネルにおけるRSSI値の少なくとも1つが所定レベル以上でなかった場合に、子機50が親機10と通信不能な状態であるとして、その旨を表示パネル53に表示するようにされている。
[第3実施形態]
次に、第3実施形態のコードレス電話装置について、図9を用いて説明する。尚、図9は、待機中に第3実施形態の子機50で実行される通信状況表示処理を表すフローチャートである。
そして、続くS430では、図形生成用テーブルを参照して、S420にて算出された平均値に対応する図形を抽出する。
次に、S440では、過去4回分のRSSI値以外を消去する。
尚、S410にてEEPROM70に記憶されているRSSI値が4つ以下の場合、S420では、EEPROM70に記憶されているだけのRSSI値の平均値を算出する。
[第4実施形態]
次に、第3実施形態のコードレス電話装置について、図10及び図11を用いて説明する。尚、第4実施形態のコードレス電話装置は、第1実施形態のコードレス電話装置1に対して、子機50が、親機10から受信した通信状況表示指令の信号強度に基づき図形生成用テーブルを更新することにより親機10との通信状況を表示パネル53に表示するようにしたものである。また、図10は、変更後図形生成用テーブルを説明する説明図であり、図11は、待機中に第4実施形態の子機50で実行される通信状況表示処理を表すフローチャートである。
まず、制御部60のROMには、図4の図形生成用テーブルに加えて、図10に示す変更後図形生成用テーブルが記憶されている。具体的に説明すると、変更後図形生成用テーブルの各レベル毎の閾値は、図10に示すように、それと対応する図形生成用テーブルの各レベル毎の閾値よりも高く設定されている。
即ち、制御部60が図11の通信状況表示処理を実行し、S210にて、通信状況表示指令を受信すると、S510に進み、この受信の際RFモジュール68により検出される親機10からの無線信号の信号強度を取得して、その取得した信号強度(RSSI値)を、例えばEEPROM70に記憶する。
次に、S530では、S520にて抽出された図形を表示パネル53に出力することにより、表示パネル53にその図形を表示させ、続くS540にて、表示終了コマンドをRFモジュール68に無線にて送信させる。
そして、S600では、図形生成用テーブルを参照して、S560にて記憶されたRSSI値に対応する図形を抽出する。
そして、S240の処理を終了すると、S250へ進み、S250の処理が終了すると、S550に戻る。
以上、本発明の実施形態について説明したが、本発明は、種々の形態を採り得ることは言うまでもない。
Claims (4)
- 親機と、この親機との間で無線通信を行う子機と、からなり、
前記親機及び子機は、互いに無線通信に用いる無線チャンネルを周波数の異なる複数の無線チャンネルの中から選択可能に構成された通信手段をそれぞれ備えたコードレス装置であって、
前記親機は、
前記子機待機中に、当該親機側の通信手段から無線信号を断続的に送信させると共に、その無線信号の送信の度に前記無線チャンネルを変更する送信制御手段を備え、
前記送信制御手段により変更される無線チャンネルは、前記親機と子機との間のコマンドの送受信に使用される2つの制御用無線チャンネルであり、
前記送信制御手段は、前記2つの制御用無線チャンネルを交互に選択し、
前記子機は、
前記親機待機中に、当該子機側の通信手段にて前記親機から送信された無線信号が受信されると、その無線信号の信号強度を検出する信号強度検出手段と、
該信号強度検出手段にて検出された無線信号の信号強度を報知する報知手段とを備え、
前記報知手段は、前記信号強度検出手段により前記各制御用無線チャンネル毎に周期的に検出される信号強度に基づき、前記送信制御手段により選択された全ての制御用無線チャンネルの信号強度が所定レベル以上であるか否かを判断し、全ての制御用無線チャンネルの信号強度が所定レベル以上であった場合に、当該子機が前記親機と通信可能な状態であるとして、前記信号強度検出手段により検出される信号強度を使用者に報知し、逆に、前記送信制御手段により選択された全ての制御用無線チャンネルのうち、少なくとも一つの制御用無線チャンネルの信号強度が所定レベル以上でなかった場合に、当該子機が前記親機と通信不能な状態であるとして、その旨を使用者に報知すること、
を特徴とするコードレス装置。 - 前記子機は、前記待機中に、当該子機側の通信手段にて前記親機から送信された無線信号が受信されると、前記通信手段から応答信号を送信させ、
前記送信制御手段は、親機側の通信手段にて前記応答信号が受信されると、所定時間経過後に、前記通信手段が無線信号を送信するのに利用する制御用無線チャンネルを変更して、前記通信手段から無線信号を送信させること、
を特徴とする請求項1に記載のコードレス装置。 - 前記信号強度検出手段は、前記信号強度を検出すると、その信号強度を含んだ過去複数回分の信号強度の平均値を求め、
前記報知手段は、前記信号強度検出手段により求められた信号強度の平均値を使用者に報知すること、
を特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載のコードレス装置。 - 前記子機は、
情報を表示するための表示手段と、
前記信号強度検出手段に検出された今回の検出結果と、前記信号強度検出手段に検出された前回の検出結果との差が所定値以上であるか否かを判定する判定手段とを備え、
前記報知手段は、
前記判定手段により今回の検出結果と前回の検出結果との差が所定値以上ではないと判定された場合には、前記今回の検出結果と、予め設定された複数の閾値からなる第1閾値群とを比較することにより、その検出結果を段階的に数値化し、その数値化した結果を前記表示手段に図形にて表示させ、
前記判定手段により今回の検出結果と前回の検出結果との差が所定値以上であると判定されると、それ以降は、前記今回の検出結果と、閾値の各々がそれと対応する前記第1閾値群の閾値よりも高く設定された複数の閾値からなる第2閾値群とを比較することにより、その検出結果を段階的に数値化し、その数値化した結果を前記表示手段に表示させること、
を特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項3の何れか1項に記載のコードレス装置。
