Claims (4)
- 車両の周囲状況を検知するレーダユニットを覆うレーダカバーであって、
骨格となる基部と、
前記基部の表面に形成されると共に膜厚方向に貫通する隙間を有する不連続性の金属膜である光輝性膜と、
前記光輝性膜の表面に形成されると共に一部が前記光輝性膜の前記隙間を通じて前記基部に密着された透明なトップコート層と
を有することを特徴とするレーダカバー。 - 被嵌合部を有する透明層と、前記被嵌合部に嵌合されると共に前記透明層を通じて外部により視認可能な嵌合部とを有し、
前記嵌合部は、前記基部、前記光輝性膜及び前記トップコート層を有し、前記トップコート層側を前記被嵌合部の内壁面に向けて配設されている
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載のレーダカバー。 - 前記透明層と固定されると共に前記嵌合部を前記透明層と反対側から支持する支持部材を備え、
前記支持部材は、前記嵌合部が当接する台座部を有する
ことを特徴とする請求項2記載のレーダカバー。 - 車両の周囲状況を検知するレーダユニットを覆うレーダカバーの製造方法であって、
骨格となる基部の表面に対して、膜厚方向に貫通する隙間を有する不連続性の金属膜である光輝性膜を形成する光輝性膜形成工程と、
前記光輝性膜の表面に対して、一部が前記光輝性膜の前記隙間を通じて前記基部に密着されるように透明なトップコート層を形成するトップコート層形成工程と
を有することを特徴とするレーダカバーの製造方法。
