Abstract
Description
砂摩耗試験
ハードコート保護フィルムに振動砂試験(VWR製のロータリー振動シェーカを使用するASTM F 735)を実施し、試験条件は砂50グラム、60分間400rpmであった。試験後の試料を目視検査することによってハードコートの引っ掻きを検出することは、通常容易である。耐摩耗性を定量化するために、コーティングしたフィルムのヘイズ%を試験の前後で測定して比較することができる。ヘイズは、BYK Gardner(Columbia,MD)製のヘイズ−ガードプラスで測定した。
ASTM D3330−04(試験方法A)を、破断までの180度剥離伸び試験で使用した。試料(C1〜C2及びE1〜E4)は、スクイーズロールラミネータを使用してフィルムFlに積層された。細片2.5cm×20cmを、この構造体から切り出した。細片は、Q−Lab Corporation(AL−39)製のアルミニウム基材パネルに積層された。試料を、試験前に24時間調整した(72°F及び50% RH)。試料を、Instron Corporation(100 Royall Street,Canton MA 02021−1089)製インストロンモデル#5564で試験した。3つの試料を試験した。報告された破断までの剥離伸び値は、3つのサンプルのそれぞれの破断までの剥離伸び値の平均である。データをインチで測定した。
アクリレート配合物:
印刷された材料は、50重量%のAM1、25重量%のAM2、及び1重量%のPI1を有する25重量%のAM3からなるアクリレート配合物である。すべての成分が溶解して、本質的に「無溶媒」液体材料を形成するまで、このアクリレート配合物は完全に混合された。
3つのフレキソ印刷プレートは、DuPont(Wilmington,DE)から商品名Cyrel DPRで入手可能な型で得られた。3つのプレートはすべて処理されて(Southern Graphic Systems(SGS,Minneapolis,MN)によって)、Southern Graphic Systemsに供給される画像に基づく所定の印刷パターンを含んだ。
3Mから入手可能な1060 Cushion−Mountフレキソ印刷プレートを使用するフレキソ印刷装置の滑面ロールに、表1で示すパターンを有するフレキソ印刷プレートを取り付けた。上述のアクリレート配合物を従来の方法及び装置を使用するフレキソ印刷装置内に導入して、表1に示すアニロックスロールを介してフレキソ印刷プレートの印刷面上に移した。次に印刷可能な組成物を、アニロックスロールから約3メートル/分のラインスピードで移動する印刷可能なフィルムF2へ移した。それからコーティングしたフィルムを、印刷装置とインライン配置されたUV硬化装置(XericWeb(Neenah,WI)から入手可能)に通過させて、液体材料を十分に硬化させて固体フィルムを形成した。実施例E4は二重印刷されていることに注意されたい。第1の印刷パスを行い硬化された後、第2の印刷を第1の上に適用して硬化させた(表1を参照)。
Claims (34)
- 形状適合性剥離性フィルムをベースとした物品であって、
第1主表面及び第2主表面を有する形状適合性フィルムと、
前記形状適合性フィルムの前記第1主表面上の感圧性接着剤層と、
前記形状適合性フィルムの前記第2主表面の少なくとも一部上の不連続パターン保護層と、を含む、物品。 - 前記パターン保護層が、前記形状適合性フィルムの一部の表面積の10%〜85%である平均面積被覆率を有するパターンを含む、請求項1に記載の形状適合性剥離性フィルムをベースとした物品。
- 前記パターン保護層が1回の印刷を介して適用される、請求項2に記載の形状適合性剥離性フィルムをベースとした物品。
- 前記不連続パターン保護層が複数の形状部を含む、請求項1に記載の形状適合性剥離性フィルムをベースとした物品。
- 前記不連続パターン保護層が形状部の部分的に相互連結したネットワークを含む、請求項2に記載の形状適合性剥離性フィルムをベースとした物品。
- 前記不連続パターン保護層がハードコートの形状部を含む、請求項1に記載の形状適合性剥離性フィルムをベースとした物品。
- 前記不連続パターン保護層がハードコートの形状部を含む、請求項2に記載の形状適合性剥離性フィルムをベースとした物品。
- 前記不連続パターン保護層が重なり合う形状部を含む、請求項6に記載の形状適合性剥離性フィルムをベースとした物品。
- 前記形状部が島を含む、請求項8に記載の形状適合性剥離性フィルムをベースとした物品。
- 前記重なり合う形状部が形状部上に形状部を重ね刷りした結果物である、請求項8に記載の形状適合性剥離性フィルムをベースとした物品。
- 前記重なり合う形状部が前記形状適合性フィルムの前記第2主表面の一部の表面積の最大100%まで覆う、請求項10に記載の形状適合性剥離性フィルムをベースとした物品。
- 前記重なり合う形状部の少なくともいくつかが、前記形状適合性フィルムの前記第2主表面の一部の形状部の第1セットと、前記形状部の第1セットより上に配設されており、前記形状部の第1セットの少なくともいくつかと部分的に重なり合いかつその上に配設されており、前記形状適合性フィルムの前記第2主表面の一部と部分的に重なり合いかつその上に配設されている形状部の第2セットと、を含む、請求項8に記載の形状適合性剥離性フィルムをベースとした物品。
- 前記ハードコートの形状部がハードコートの複数層を含む、請求項6に記載の形状適合性剥離性フィルムをベースとした物品。
- 前記ハードコートの形状部が、第1の印刷工程により適用されるハードコートの形状部の第1セットと、前記ハードコートの形状部の第1セットの少なくともいくつかに少なくとも部分的に重なり合うハードコートの形状部の第2セットと、を含み、前記ハードコートの形状部の第2セットが第2の印刷工程により適用されており、前記第1の印刷工程及び前記第2の印刷工程が時間的に異なっている、請求項6に記載の形状適合性剥離性フィルムをベースとした物品。
- 前記第1の印刷工程及び前記第2の印刷工程が同じウェブ取り扱い作業の一部である、請求項14に記載の形状適合性剥離性フィルムをベースとした物品。
