Claims (6)
- 第1の軸線を中心に回転し、前記第1の軸線と略直交する第1の盤面と前記第1の盤面とは反対側の第2の盤面とを有する盤状のブレーキローターの回転を停止させるブレーキキャリパーであって、
前記第1の盤面と前記第2の盤面とに当接して挟むことにより前記盤状のブレーキローターの回転を停止させる第1の制動パッド及び第2の制動パッドと、
前記ブレーキローターの隣に配置されている筐体と、
前記第1の軸線と略平行となる第2の軸線に沿って伸縮できるように前記筐体に保持されていると共に、伸縮する一端に前記第1の制動パッドが接続されている伸縮機構と、
前記伸縮機構の伸縮に応じて前記第2の軸線に沿って移動できるように、前記伸縮機構の前記第1の制動パッドが取付けられている一端の反対側に取り付けられる保持座と、
前記第2の制動パッドが接続されていると共に、前記保持座と共に前記第2の軸線と略平行に移動できる連動座と、
前記第2の軸線と略平行に延伸するように前記筐体に固定されていると共に、前記連動座を挿通しているガイド部材と、を備えていることを特徴とするブレーキキャリパー。 - 前記連動座は、
前記ブレーキローターの隣で前記保持座側から前記第2の軸線と略平行に前記第2の制動パッド側まで延伸する上壁部と、
前記上壁部が前記第2の制動パッド側へ延伸した側から該上壁部と略直交するように延伸して前記第2の制動パッドに接続する制動壁部と、
前記上壁部の前記第2の軸線の方向と略直交する幅方向における両側からそれぞれ突起する2つの脇部と、を有し、且つ
該上壁部と該制動壁部及び該2つの脇部とは一体に形成されたものであり、
前記ガイド部材を2つ有し、該2つの前記ガイド部材は前記連動座の各前記脇部にそれぞれ摺動可能に挿通されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のブレーキキャリパー。 - 前記連動座の前記制動壁部は、
前記第2の制動パッドと接合する接合面と、
前記接合面の反対側にある嵌合面と、
前記嵌合面から突起する嵌合プラグと、を備えており、
前記筐体は、
前記ブレーキローターの前記第1の盤面側に配置されると共に、前記第1の制動パッドを受け入れて収容する第1の収容凹部が形成された第1の枠と、
前記ブレーキローターの前記第2の盤面側に配置されると共に、前記第2の制動パッドを受け入れて収容する第2の収容凹部が形成された第2の枠と、を有しており、
前記第1の枠と前記第2の枠は互いに接続されており、
前記連動座は、前記上壁部が前記第1の枠及び前記第2の枠の隣に、且つ、前記制動壁部が前記第2の収容凹部内に挿し込まれるように配置されており、
前記第2の枠の前記第2の収容凹部の表面には、
前記連動座の前記制動壁部を受け入れて収容することができる嵌合凹部が凹設され、そして該嵌合凹部の表面には前記第2の軸線と略平行に移動する前記連動座が備えた前記嵌合プラグを受け入れることができる嵌合ソケットが更に凹設されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のブレーキキャリパー。 - 前記連動座は、各前記脇部の内部において、各前記脇部と各前記ガイド部材との間に介在している2つの自己潤滑軸受を更に有していることを特徴とする請求項2または請求項3に記載のブレーキキャリパー。
- 前記第1の枠には、前記2つのガイド部材それぞれの一端が固定されている2つの第1の耳部が互いに間を空けて突起しており、
前記第2の枠には、前記2つのガイド部材それぞれの前記一端の反対側にある他端が固定されている2つの第2の耳部が互いに間を空けて突起していることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のブレーキキャリパー。 - 各前記ガイド部材は、前記一端が対応の前記第1の耳部にねじ込まれて固定されており、
前記一端の反対側にある他端には、大径に形成されたヘッド部があり、
前記第2の枠に形成された前記第2の耳部には、前記ヘッド部を受け入れる肩部が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のブレーキキャリパー。
