Claims (6)
- 内周に複列の外側転走面が一体に形成された外方部材と、
車輪取り付けフランジを一体に有し、外周に軸方向に延びる小径段部が形成されたハブ輪、およびこのハブ輪の前記小径段部に圧入された少なくとも一つの内輪からなり、外周に前記複列の外側転走面に対向する複列の内側転走面が形成された内方部材と、
前記外方部材と前記内方部材のそれぞれの転走面間に転動自在に介装された複列の転動体と、を備える車輪用軸受装置において、
前記外方部材がアウター側端部における開口穴を内側から押し広げた塑性加工品であり、外方部材の外周が径方向外側へ膨らんだ肉厚部を有している、ことを特徴とする車輪用軸受装置。 - 前記外方部材がアウター側端部における開口穴を内側から押し広げた鍛造品である、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記外方部材がアウター側端部における開口穴を内側から押し広げた転造品である、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記肉厚部が前記内方部材の回転軸を中心とする円環状に形成され、その幅寸法が前記外方部材のアウター側端面からアウター側の前記外側転走面における最大外径の位置までの寸法よりも大きい値となる、ことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 内周に複列の外側転走面が一体に形成された外方部材と、
車輪取り付けフランジを一体に有し、外周に軸方向に延びる小径段部が形成されたハブ輪、およびこのハブ輪の前記小径段部に圧入された少なくとも一つの内輪からなり、外周に前記複列の外側転走面に対向する複列の内側転走面が形成された内方部材と、
前記外方部材と前記内方部材のそれぞれの転走面間に転動自在に介装された複列の転動体と、を備える車輪用軸受装置の製造方法であって、
鍛造工法を用いて前記外方部材のアウター側端部における開口穴を内側から押し広げることにより、この外方部材の外周に径方向外側へ膨らんだ肉厚部が形成される工程を有している、ことを特徴とする車輪用軸受装置の製造方法。 - 内周に複列の外側転走面が一体に形成された外方部材と、

転造工法を用いて前記外方部材のアウター側端部における開口穴を内側から押し広げることにより、この外方部材の外周に径方向外側へ膨らんだ肉厚部が形成される工程を有している、ことを特徴とする車輪用軸受装置の製造方法。
