前記エンジンの出力軸が所定回転角だけ回転するのに要した時間の変化量を前記エンジンの点火周期以下の所定周期毎に演算し、前記変化量が第1閾値よりも大きいときには、前記複数気筒のうち前記変化量の演算時に膨張行程となる気筒に対して、該変化量が該第1閾値以下のときよりも燃料噴射量を増量する所定増量の実行を開始する制御手段と、
を備えるエンジン装置であって、
前記制御手段は、
前記所定周期毎に、前記変化量が前記第1閾値よりも大きい第2閾値以下のときにはカウンタの値を保持し、前記変化量が前記第2閾値よりも大きいときには前記カウンタをカウントアップし、
前記エンジンでの点火回数が所定回数以上に至ったときに、前記カウンタが所定値よりも大きいときには、前記触媒が過熱していると判定し、
更に、前記制御手段は、前記エンジンの一部の気筒に対して前記所定増量を実行しているときには、前記エンジンの全ての気筒に対して前記所定増量を実行していないときに比して前記所定値を小さくする、
ことを要旨とする。
複数気筒を有するエンジンと、
前記エンジンの排気を浄化する触媒を有する浄化装置と、
警告を報知する報知手段と、
前記エンジンの出力軸が所定回転角だけ回転するのに要した時間の変化量を前記エンジンの点火周期以下の所定周期毎に演算し、前記変化量が第1閾値よりも大きいときには、前記複数気筒のうち前記変化量の演算時に膨張行程となる気筒に対して、該変化量が該第1閾値以下のときよりも燃料噴射量を増量する所定増量の実行を開始する制御手段と、
を備えるエンジン装置であって、
前記制御手段は、
前記所定周期毎に、前記変化量が前記第1閾値よりも大きい第2閾値以下のときにはカウンタの値を保持し、前記変化量が前記第2閾値よりも大きいときには前記カウンタをカウントアップし、
前記エンジンでの点火回数が所定回数以上に至ったときに、前記カウンタが所定値よりも大きいときには、前記触媒が過熱していることを示す警告が報知されるように前記報知手段を制御し、
更に、前記制御手段は、前記エンジンの一部の気筒に対して前記所定増量を実行しているときには、前記エンジンの全ての気筒に対して前記所定増量を実行していないときに比して前記所定値を小さくする、
ことを要旨とする。
・クランクシャフト26の回転位置を検出するクランクポジションセンサ140からのクランク角θcr
・エンジン22の冷却水の温度を検出する水温センサ142からの冷却水温Tw
・吸気バルブ128を開閉するインテークカムシャフトの回転位置や排気バルブを開閉するエキゾーストカムシャフトの回転位置を検出するカムポジションセンサ144からのカム角θci,θco
・スロットルバルブ124のポジションを検出するスロットルバルブポジションセンサ146からのスロットル開度TH
・吸気管に取り付けられたエアフローメータ148からの吸入空気量Qa
・吸気管に取り付けられた温度センサ149からの吸気温Ta
・吸気管内の圧力を検出する吸気圧センサ158からの吸気圧Pin
・浄化装置134の浄化触媒134aの温度を検出する温度センサ134bからの触媒温度Tc

・シリンダブロックに取り付けられてノッキングの発生に伴って生じる振動を検出するノックセンサ159からのノック信号Ks

・イグナイタと一体化されたイグニッションコイル138への駆動制御信号

・シフトレバー81の操作位置を検出するシフトポジションセンサ82からのシフトポジションSP
・アクセルペダル83の踏み込み量を検出するアクセルペダルポジションセンサ84からのアクセル開度Acc
・ブレーキペダル85の踏み込み量を検出するブレーキペダルポジションセンサ86からのブレーキペダルポジションBP

(A1)トルク変換運転モード:要求動力に対応する動力がエンジン22から出力されるようにエンジン22を運転制御すると共に、エンジン22から出力される動力の全てが、プラネタリギヤ30とモータMG1,MG2とによってトルク変換されて、要求動力が駆動軸36に出力されるようにモータMG1,MG2を駆動制御するモード
(A2)充放電運転モード:要求動力とバッテリ50の充放電に必要な電力との和に見合う動力がエンジン22から出力されるようにエンジン22を運転制御すると共に、エンジン22から出力される動力の全てまたは一部が、バッテリ50の充放電を伴ってプラネタリギヤ30とモータMG1,MG2とによってトルク変換されて、要求動力が駆動軸36に出力されるようにモータMG1,MG2を駆動制御するモード
(A3)モータ運転モード:エンジン22の運転を停止して、要求動力が駆動軸36に出力されるようにモータMG2を駆動制御するモード
(B1)気筒[i]で失火は発生していないが気筒[i]の燃料噴射量が他の気筒の燃料噴射量よりも少なくなっている場合
(B2)気筒[i]で失火が発生している場合
(C1)燃料噴射弁126など燃料供給系の故障によって燃料噴射が行なわれていない場合
(C2)点火プラグ130やイグニッションコイル138など点火系の故障によって点火が行なわれていない場合
Claims (5)
- 複数気筒を有するエンジンと、
前記エンジンの排気を浄化する触媒を有する浄化装置と、
前記エンジンの出力軸が所定回転角だけ回転するのに要した時間の変化量を前記エンジンの点火周期以下の所定周期毎に演算し、前記変化量が第1閾値よりも大きいときには、前記複数気筒のうち前記変化量の演算時に膨張行程となる気筒に対して、該変化量が該第1閾値以下のときよりも燃料噴射量を増量する所定増量の実行を開始する制御手段と、
を備えるエンジン装置であって、
前記制御手段は、
前記所定周期毎に、前記変化量が前記第1閾値よりも大きい第2閾値以下のときにはカウンタの値を保持し、前記変化量が前記第2閾値よりも大きいときには前記カウンタをカウントアップし、
前記エンジンでの点火回数が所定回数以上に至ったときに、前記カウンタが所定値よりも大きいときには、前記触媒が過熱していると判定し、
更に、前記制御手段は、前記エンジンの一部の気筒に対して前記所定増量を実行しているときには、前記エンジンの全ての気筒に対して前記所定増量を実行していないときに比して前記所定値を小さくする、
エンジン装置。 - 請求項1記載のエンジン装置であって、
前記制御手段は、前記所定周期毎に失火率を設定すると共に、前記点火回数が前記所定回数以上に至ったときに前記失火率の積算値を前記所定値とする、
エンジン装置。 - 請求項2記載のエンジン装置であって、
前記制御手段は、前記所定周期毎に前記失火率を設定する際、該設定時に膨張行程となる対象気筒が前記所定増量を実行している気筒であるときには、前記対象気筒が前記所定増量を実行している気筒でないときに比して、前記失火率に小さい値を設定する、
エンジン装置。 - 請求項2または3記載のエンジン装置であって、
前記失火率は、前記エンジンの回転数が大きいときには小さいときに比して小さくなり且つ前記エンジンの体積効率が大きいときには小さいときに比して小さくなる値である、
エンジン装置。 - 複数気筒を有するエンジンと、
前記エンジンの排気を浄化する触媒を有する浄化装置と、
警告を報知する報知手段と、
前記エンジンの出力軸が所定回転角だけ回転するのに要した時間の変化量を前記エンジンの点火周期以下の所定周期毎に演算し、前記変化量が第1閾値よりも大きいときには、前記複数気筒のうち前記変化量の演算時に膨張行程となる気筒に対して、該変化量が該第1閾値以下のときよりも燃料噴射量を増量する所定増量の実行を開始する制御手段と、
を備えるエンジン装置であって、
前記制御手段は、
前記所定周期毎に、前記変化量が前記第1閾値よりも大きい第2閾値以下のときにはカウンタの値を保持し、前記変化量が前記第2閾値よりも大きいときには前記カウンタをカウントアップし、
前記エンジンでの点火回数が所定回数以上に至ったときに、前記カウンタが所定値よりも大きいときには、前記触媒が過熱していることを示す警告が報知されるように前記報知手段を制御し、
更に、前記制御手段は、前記エンジンの一部の気筒に対して前記所定増量を実行しているときには、前記エンジンの全ての気筒に対して前記所定増量を実行していないときに比して前記所定値を小さくする、
エンジン装置。
