Abstract
【解決手段】アース部位にボルト締めされるボルト締結部10と、電線の端末部に接続される電線接続部20とを有し、前記ボルト締結部10と前記電線接続部20とが別体に形成されてから連結されている。このような構成によれば、電線接続部20を最適な材料で最適な形状に形成することができるから、多種ある電線のそれぞれに好適に接続することができる。

Description
以下、本発明を具体化した一実施例について、図1〜図5を参照しつつ詳細に説明する。
本実施例におけるアース用端子金具Tは、電線30の端末部に接続されるとともに例えば自動車のボディにおける所定のアース部位にボルト締めにより接続されてアースが取られるものである。以下、各構成部材において、図1の左手前側を前側、右奥側を後側、上側を上方、下側を下方として説明する。
延出部15は、本体部10A側から延出方向の先端に向かって幅寸法が2段階に変化している。延出部15のうち本体部10A側の部分は、幅寸法が大きい大幅部15Aとされ、延出部15のうち先端側の部分は、幅寸法が小さい小幅部15Bとされている。大幅部15Aは、本体部10Aの幅寸法の略半分の寸法を有している。
大幅部15Aのうち段差部18よりも後側には、電線30の端末部を包囲する図示しない熱収縮チューブを接着するための接着剤が本体部10A側へ侵出することを防ぐ防止壁19が設けられている。防止壁19は、延出部15の上面側から側縁に至るまで左右方向に延びて形成され、小幅部15Bの前側を略全幅にわたって閉じている。この防止壁19により、接着剤が本体部10A側へ侵出してボルト締め作業を妨げることを防ぐことができる。
まず第1に、ボルト締結部10の材料と電線接続部20の材料とを異なるものとすることで、材料コストを抑制することができる。例えば、電線接続部20を銅または銅合金製、ボルト締結部10を鉄または鉄合金製とすることで、銅に比して安価な材料を用いることにより、アース用端子金具の全体を銅または銅合金製とする場合に比して材料コストを抑制することができる。
本実施例のアース用端子金具Tは、アース部位にボルト締めされるボルト締結部10と、電線30の端末部に接続される電線接続部20とを有し、ボルト締結部10と電線接続部20とが別体に形成されてから連結されている。
次に、本発明を具体化した実施例2に係るアース用端子金具40を図6によって説明する。
本実施例のアース用端子金具40は、ボルト締結部10に、締結側接続部14が複数設けられている点で、実施例1とは相違する。なお、実施例1と同様の構成には同一符号を付して重複する説明を省略する。
さらに、ボルト締結部10に、電線接続部20との連結部が複数設けられているから、電線接続部20の連結位置を選ぶことで、電線30の引き出し経路を最適にすることができる。
本発明は上記記述及び図面によって説明した実施例に限定されるものではなく、例えば次のような実施例も本発明の技術的範囲に含まれる。
(1)上記実施例では、ボルト締結部10と電線接続部20とが溶接により接合されているが、これに限らず、ボルト締結部と電線接続部とを接合する手段はどのような手段を用いてもよい。
(2)上記実施例では、ボルト締結部10および電線接続部20の材料または形状に関する具体例を示したが、ボルト締結部および電線接続部の材料または形状等は上記の内容に限らず、適宜変更設定することができる。
(3)上記実施例2では、締結側連結部14が3箇所に設けられているが、これに限らず、締結側連結部の位置および数は適宜変更することができる。

Claims (5)
- アース部位にボルト締めされるボルト締結部と、電線の端末部に接続される電線接続部とを有し、
前記ボルト締結部と前記電線接続部とが別体に形成されてから連結されているアース用端子金具。 - 前記ボルト締結部と前記電線接続部とが、同一の金属材料からなる場合および異なる金属材料からなる場合のいずれの場合であっても連結可能とされている請求項1に記載のアース用端子金具。
- 前記ボルト締結部に、前記電線の径寸法に合わせて最適な形状に形成された前記電線接続部が連結されている請求項1または請求項2に記載のアース用端子金具。
- 前記ボルト締結部に、前記アース部位側に突出する突部が設けられている請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれか一項に記載のアース用端子金具。
- 前記ボルト締結部に、前記電線接続部との連結部が複数設けられている請求項1ないし請求項4のいずれか一項に記載のアース用端子金具。
