Abstract
【解決手段】プラグインハイブリッド車両に搭載されるECU400は、制御モード選択部410と、エンジン異常判定部420とを備える。制御モード選択部410は、充電消費(CD)モードと、充電維持(CS)モードとのうちの1つを選択し、選択した制御モードで車両を走行させる。エンジン異常判定部420は、エンジンの燃焼異常の有無を、エンジンが基準回数回転する毎に判定する。そして、エンジン異常判定部420は、CSモード中は、現トリップ中に燃料異常と判定された「現トリップ燃焼異常回数Nnow」を用いてエンジン異常の有無を判定する。一方、CDモード中は、エンジン異常判定部420は、現トリップ中の燃焼異常回数Nnowに過去のトリップ中の燃焼異常回数を加えた「累積燃焼異常回数Nsum」を用いてエンジン異常の有無を判定する。

Description
まず、制御モード選択部410について説明する。制御モード選択部410は、充電消費モード(Charge Depleting mode、以下「CDモード」という)と、充電維持モード(Charge Sustain mode、以下「CSモード」という)とのうちから1つの制御モードを選択し、選択された制御モードで車両10を走行させる。なお、制御モードは、2つに限定されず、3つ以上であってもよい。

- エンジンと、
モータと、
前記モータを駆動するための電力を蓄えるバッテリと、
前記エンジンおよび前記モータを制御する制御装置とを備え、
前記制御装置は、前記バッテリの残存容量を所定範囲に維持するために前記エンジンの駆動が許容される充電維持モードと、前記バッテリの残存容量を前記所定範囲に維持するためには前記エンジンの駆動が許容されない充電消費モードとのいずれかの制御モードで前記エンジンおよび前記モータを制御し、
前記制御装置は、前記充電維持モード中は、現在のトリップ中に生じた燃焼異常回数がしきい値以上であるときに前記エンジンが異常であると判定する第1判定を行ない、
前記制御装置は、前記充電消費モード中は、前記第1判定に代えてあるいは加えて、前記現在のトリップ中に生じた燃焼異常回数に過去のトリップ中に生じた燃焼異常回数を加えた累積燃焼異常回数が前記しきい値以上であるときに前記エンジンが異常であると判定する第2判定を行なう、車両。 - 前記制御装置は、過去のトリップからの前記エンジンの累積回転回数が所定回転回数に達した時点で、前記累積燃焼異常回数をリセットする、請求項1に記載の車両。
- 前記制御装置は、前記エンジンが基準回数だけ回転する毎に燃焼異常の有無を判定し、前記燃焼異常があると判定される毎に前記現在のトリップ中に生じた燃焼異常回数を増加させる、請求項1または2に記載の車両。
- 前記車両は、前記バッテリを外部電源の電力で充電可能なプラグインハイブリッド車両である、請求項1に記載の車両。
