Description
・ASTM−D2240による、60〜95 ショアAの硬度;
・ASTM D412−Cによる、引張強さ≧8MPa;
・コンパウンド融解試験に合格すること。
(i)約40〜約70重量%の選択的に水素化されたスチレン系ブロック共重合体(HSBC)と、
(ii)0〜約15重量%のプロピレン単独重合体および/またはプロピレン共重合体(PP)と、
(iii)約1〜約30重量%のブチレン単独重合体(iiia)、ブチレン共重合体(iiib)、またはブチレン単独重合体(iiia)およびブチレン共重合体(iiib)の組み合わせ(PB)と、
(iv)0〜約20重量%の、ナフテン油およびパラフィン油から選択される可塑性油と、
(v)0〜約10重量%の耐引掻き性付与剤(scratching agent)と、
(vi)0〜約10重量%の互着防止剤と、
(vii)0〜約10重量%の1以上の添加剤と
を含む。
ブロック性%=100×(ブロック状スチレン単位/全スチレン単位)。
a)水素化の前には、各Aブロックはモノアルケニルアレーンポリマーブロックであり、各Bブロックは、少なくとも1つの共役ジエンおよび少なくとも1つのモノアルケニルアレーンの分布が制御された共重合体ブロックであり;
b)水素化の後は、約0〜10%、好ましくは5%未満のアレーン二重結合が還元されており、かつ少なくとも約90%、好ましくは約95%以上、さらにより好ましくは約98%以上の共役ジエン二重結合が還元されており;
c)(GPCによって測定される)全見かけ数平均分子量は、直鎖状HSBCについては約70〜約150kg/mol、好ましくは約125〜約150kg/molの範囲にあり、分枝状HSBCの各アームについては約35〜約75kg/mol、好ましくは約62.5〜約75kg/molの範囲にあり、各Aブロックは約5.0〜約7.5kg/molの数平均分子量を有し;
d)各Bブロックは、共役ジエン単位に富むAブロックに隣接した末端領域、およびモノアルケニルアレーン単位に富むAブロックに隣接していない1以上の領域を含み;
e)水素化されたブロック共重合体中のモノアルケニルアレーンの全量は約20〜約45重量%、好ましくは約30〜約40重量%であり;かつ
f)各Bブロック中のモノアルケニルアレーンの重量%は約10〜約40重量%、好ましくは約15〜約30重量%、最も好ましくは約20〜約25重量%であり;
g)各Bブロックは、10%未満のスチレンブロック性指数を有し;かつ
h)各Bブロック中のビニルの重量%は少なくとも約40重量%である、
選択的に水素化されたブロック共重合体である。
・50ショアA(ASTM−D2240)より大きい、好ましくは60〜95 ショアAの、3秒後の硬度;
・引張強さ≧8MPa(ASTM D412−C);および
・コンパウンド融解試験に合格
を有する配合物を選択するために、上記配合物の物性を測定した。
・丸くなった縁を示し、
・表面欠陥(点、気泡、ピンホール)を示さず、かつ
・グリース状に/油っぽく/粘着性があるように見えなかった
ときに、肯定的と示した。厚さの変化(Vt)が50%以上である場合には、厚さ変化の評価は、肯定的と示した。融解試験の結果を、射出成形した試料に対して測定した場合の物性と一緒に表3に列挙する。
当該配合物で使用するポリブチレン成分の影響を試験するために、上記の配合物と同様であるが、しかしながら異なる量のこの成分を有する3つの配合物を製造した。ポリマー2をHSBCとして使用した。配合物成分およびこれらの成分が存在する量を表5に列挙する。
Claims (15)
- 1400μm以下の粒径を有するペレットおよび/または粉末の形態の熱溶融性組成物であって、
(i)約40〜約70重量%の選択的に水素化されたスチレン系ブロック共重合体(HSBC)と、
(ii)0〜約15重量%のプロピレン単独重合体および/またはプロピレン共重合体(PP)と、
(iii)約1〜約30重量%のブチレン単独重合体(iiia)、ブチレン共重合体(iiib)、または前記ブチレン単独重合体(iiia)および前記ブチレン共重合体(iiib)の組み合わせ(PB)と、
(iv)0〜約20重量%の、ナフテン油およびパラフィン油から選択される可塑性油と、
(v)0〜約10重量%の耐引掻き性付与剤と、
(vi)0〜約10重量%の互着防止剤と、
(vii)0〜約10重量%の1以上の添加剤と
を含み、前記HSBC(i)は、一般構成A−B−A、(A−B)n、(A−B−A)n、(A−B−A)nX、(A−B)nXもしくはこれらの混合物を有する直鎖状または分枝状の水素化されたブロック共重合体であって、式中、nは2〜約30の整数であり、Xはカップリング剤残基であり、かつ:
a)水素化の前には、各Aブロックはモノアルケニルアレーンポリマーブロックであり、各Bブロックは、少なくとも1つの共役ジエンおよび少なくとも1つのモノアルケニルアレーンの分布が制御された共重合体ブロックであり;
b)水素化の後は、約0〜10%の前記アレーンの二重結合が還元されており、かつ少なくとも約90%の前記共役ジエンの二重結合が還元されており;
c)各Aブロックは約5.0〜約7.5kg/molの数平均分子量を有し、前記直鎖状HSBCは約70〜約150kg/molの全見かけ数平均分子量を有し、前記分枝状HSBCは、アーム1本あたり約35〜約75kg/molの全見かけ数平均分子量を有し;
d)各Bブロックは、共役ジエン単位に富む前記Aブロックに隣接した末端領域、およびモノアルケニルアレーン単位に富む前記Aブロックに隣接していない1以上の領域を含み;
e)前記水素化されたブロック共重合体中のモノアルケニルアレーンの全量は約20〜約45重量%であり;かつ
f)各Bブロック中のモノアルケニルアレーンの重量%は約10〜約40重量%であり;
g)各Bブロックは、10%未満のスチレンブロック性指数を有し;かつ
h)各Bブロック中のビニルの重量%は少なくとも約40重量%である、
熱溶融性組成物。 - 前記モノアルケニルアレーンはスチレンであり、前記共役ジエンはブタジエンである、請求項1に記載の熱溶融性組成物。
- 前記HSBC(i)は45〜55重量%の量で存在する、請求項1または請求項2に記載の熱溶融性組成物。
- 前記直鎖状HSBCは、125〜150kg/molの全見かけ数平均分子量を有する、請求項1から請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の熱溶融性組成物。
- 前記HSBC中のモノアルケニルアレーンの全量は約30〜約40重量%である、請求項1から請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の熱溶融性組成物。
- 各Bブロック中のモノアルケニルアレーンの重量%は約15〜約30重量%であり、各Bブロック中のモノアルケニルアレーンの重量%は約20〜約25重量%であり、各Bブロック中のビニルの重量%は少なくとも約60重量%、好ましくは約60〜約80重量%である、請求項1から請求項5のいずれか1項に記載の熱溶融性組成物。
- 前記ブチレン共重合体(iiib)は、5kgの重量を用いて190℃で測定する場合、約0.1〜約500g/10分のメルトフローレートを有するブチレンおよびプロピレンの共重合体である、請求項1から請求項6のいずれか1項に記載の熱溶融性組成物。
- 前記ブチレン共重合体(iiib)は、5kgの重量を用いて190℃で測定する場合、約0.8g/10分のメルトフローレートを有する、請求項7に記載の熱溶融性組成物。
- 前記組成物は、約10〜約30重量%の、ブチレン単独重合体(iiia)、ブチレン共重合体(iiib)、または前記ブチレン単独重合体(iiia)および前記ブチレン共重合体(iiib)の組み合わせ、好ましくは(iiia)および(iiib)の組み合わせの形態のPBを含む、請求項7または請求項8に記載の熱溶融性組成物。
- ブチレン単独重合体(iiia) 対 ブチレン共重合体(iiib)の比は、約1:1〜約10:1、好ましくは約2:1〜約3:1である、請求項7から請求項9のいずれか1項に記載の熱溶融性組成物。
- 前記添加剤(iv)は、1以上の可塑剤、耐引掻き性付与剤、互着防止剤、着色剤、安定剤および/または充填剤を含む、請求項1から請求項10のいずれか1項に記載の熱溶融性組成物。
- 請求項1に記載の熱溶融性組成物を使用して型の内面に溶融した熱可塑性層を生成する方法であって、
a)粉末の形態および/またはマイクロペレットの形態の前記熱溶融性組成物を型の中へと注入する工程と、
b)前記熱溶融性組成物を熱可塑性層へと焼結するのに十分な条件で、前記型を回転、または回転かつ振盪、および加熱する工程と、
c)前記型および前記熱可塑性層を冷却する工程と、
を含む方法。 - 前記熱溶融性組成物は、約180℃〜約260℃の温度で焼結される、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 溶融した熱可塑性層を含む物品であって、前記熱可塑性層は、請求項1に記載の熱可塑性組成物に基づく、物品。
- 前記物品はダッシュボードである、請求項14に記載の物品。
