本出願は、2015年6月12日に出願された米国仮特許出願第62/174,871号の利益を主張する。
なし
i)約50から約70重量%のブロックコポリマー、
ii)約15から約25重量%の少なくとも1種のブテンのホモポリマーまたはコポリマー、
iii)約12から約24重量%の少なくとも1種のポリオレフィンホモポリマーまたはポリオレフィンコポリマーおよび
iv)約0.3から約3重量%の少なくとも1種の安定剤
を含み、
v)ここで、前記ブロックコポリマーが、0.85g/ccを超える比重を有する水素添加低ビニルブタジエン末端ブロックを有し、およびポリアルケニルアレーン/水素添加ジエンの制御分布中間ブロックを有し、ここで、組成物の前記総重量が100重量%に等しい、組成物を提供する。
i)組成物から物品を回転成形またはスラッシュ成形または射出成形または押出もしくは圧縮成形または熱成形もしくはカレンダー加工することを含み、組成物が、約50から約70重量%のブロックコポリマー、

組成物1から4の調製
表1に記載の成分から組成物1から4を調製した。組成物1、2および4のスチレンブロックコポリマーを、0.85g/ccを超える比重を有する水素添加低ビニルポリブタジエン末端ブロックを含むブロックコポリマーに代えた。組成物1および2は、良好な耐油性、耐燃料性および耐化学薬品性を必要とする用途においてポリウレタンが頻繁に使用されるため、芳香族または脂肪族の熱可塑性ポリウレタンのどちらかを含んでいた。組成物1および2は、スチレンブロックコポリマーと熱可塑性ポリウレタンとの間の相溶性を改善するために、機能的に改質したS−S/EB−Sを組成物中に包含した。組成物1および2は、LDPEまたはHDPEのどちらかを追加成分として包含した。すべての組成物は、同量の一次安定剤および二次安定剤を有していた。キャボット(Cabot)プラバック(Plaback)は不活性顔料である。ポリマーAは、選択的に水素添加した制御分布スチレンブロックコポリマーであるMD6951であり、35重量%のポリスチレン含量ならびに230℃および2.16kgにて約48g/10分のメルトフローレートを有する。ポリマーAは、ガラス状スチレン末端ブロックおよび著しい結晶性を有さない高ビニル含量ゴムブロックを有する。ポリマーBは、半結晶性低ビニル末端ブロックおよび著しい結晶性を有さない高いビニル含量のゴム状ブロックを有するC−S/EB−Cトリブロックである。

Claims (19)
- 回転成形またはスラッシュ成形または射出成形または押出もしくは圧縮成形または熱成形もしくはカレンダー加工によって物品を製造するための組成物であって、
約50から約70重量%のブロックコポリマー、
約15から約25重量%の少なくとも1種のブテンのホモポリマーまたはコポリマーおよび
約12から約24重量%の少なくとも1種のポリオレフィンホモポリマーまたはポリオレフィンコポリマー
を含み、
前記ブロックコポリマーが、0.85g/ccを超える比重を有する水素添加低ビニルポリブタジエン末端ブロックを有し、およびポリアルケニルアレーン/水素添加ジエンの制御分布中間ブロックを有し、ならびに前記組成物の総重量が100重量%に等しい、組成物。 - 前記ブロックコポリマーが、C−A/B−Cまたは(C−A/B)nXの構造を有し、式中、Cは水素添加低ビニル半結晶性ポリブタジエンブロックであり、A/Bは高ビニル含量を有するモノアルケニルアレーンおよびブタジエンの制御分布ポリマー中間ブロックであり、Xはカップリング剤の残基であり、ならびにnは2から6である、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記ポリオレフィンホモポリマーまたはポリオレフィンコポリマーが、ポリプロピレン、高密度ポリエチレン、中密度ポリエチレン、低密度ポリエチレン、直鎖低密度ポリエチレン、ポリエチレンコポリマー、ポリプロピレンコポリマー、ポリブテンコポリマーまたはこれらの2種以上の混合物である、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記ポリアルケニルアレーンが、スチレン、アルファメチルスチレン、o−メチルスチレン、p−メチルスチレン、ビニルトルエン、ビニルナフタレン、パラ−ブチルスチレンまたはこれらの2種以上の混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記水素添加ジエンが、水素添加ブタジエン、水素添加イソプレンまたはこれらの混合物の群から選択される、請求項4に記載の組成物。
- 前記ブロックコポリマーが、C−S/EB−Cであり、式中、Cは水素添加低ビニル半結晶性ポリブタジエンであり、ならびにS/EBはスチレンおよび水素添加ブタジエンの制御分布ポリマー中間ブロックである、請求項4に記載の組成物。
- 約0.3から約3重量%の少なくとも1種の安定剤をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記ブロックコポリマーが、2.16kgの重量で230℃にて約1から約50g/10分のメルトフローインデックスを有する、請求項6に記載の組成物。
- 230℃および2.16kgにて、5から400g/10分のメルトフローレート範囲を有する、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 組成物から物品を回転成形、射出成形、押出、カレンダー加工、熱成形またはスラッシュ成形することを含む、物品を製造する方法であって、前記組成物が、
約50から約70重量%のブロックコポリマー、
約15から約25重量%の少なくとも1種のブテンのホモポリマーまたはコポリマーおよび
約12から約24重量%の少なくとも1種のポリオレフィンホモポリマーまたはコポリマー
を含み、前記ブロックコポリマーが、0.85g/ccを超える比重を有する水素添加低ビニルブタジエン末端ブロックを有し、およびポリアルケニルアレーン/水素添加ジエンの制御分布中間ブロックを有し、ならびに前記組成物の総重量が100重量%に等しく、および前記組成物を、前記回転成形またはスラッシュ成形または射出成形または押出またはカレンダー加工のステップ前に溶融混合する、方法。 - 前記ポリオレフィンホモポリマーまたはポリオレフィンコポリマーが、ポリプロピレン、高密度ポリエチレン、中密度ポリエチレン、低密度ポリエチレン、直鎖低密度ポリエチレン、ポリエチレンコポリマー、ポリプロピレンコポリマー、ポリブテンコポリマーまたはこれらの2種以上の混合物である、請求項10に記載の物品を製造する方法。
- 前記ポリアルケニルアレーンが、スチレン、アルファメチルスチレン、o−メチルスチレン、p−メチルスチレン、ビニルトルエン、ビニルナフタレン、パラ−ブチルスチレンまたはこれらの2種以上の混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項10に記載の物品を製造する方法。
- 前記水素添加ジエンが、水素添加ブタジエン、水素添加イソプレンまたはこれらの混合物の群から選択される、請求項10に記載の物品を製造する方法。
- 布地、発泡体または硬質シート基材を組成物でコーティングする方法であって、
押出またはカレンダー加工によって、布地、発泡体または硬質シート基材をコーティングし、物品を製造することを含み、前記組成物が
約50から約70重量%のブロックコポリマー、
約15から約25重量%の少なくとも1種のブテンのホモポリマーまたはコポリマー、
約12から約24重量%の少なくとも1種のポリオレフィンホモポリマーまたはコポリマー
を含み、
前記ブロックコポリマーが、0.85g/ccを超える比重を有する水素添加低ビニルポリブタジエン末端ブロックを有し、およびポリアルケニルアレーン/水素添加ジエンの制御分布中間ブロックを有し、ならびに前記組成物の総重量が100重量%に等しく、および前記組成物を、前記布地、発泡体または硬質シート基材をコーティングするステップの前に溶融混合する、方法。 - 前記ポリオレフィンホモポリマーまたはポリオレフィンコポリマーが、ポリプロピレン、高密度ポリエチレン、中密度ポリエチレン、低密度ポリエチレン、直鎖低密度ポリエチレン、ポリエチレンコポリマー、ポリプロピレンコポリマー、ポリブテンコポリマーまたはこれらの2種以上の混合物である、請求項14に記載の布地、発泡体または硬質シート基材をコーティングする方法。
- 前記ポリアルケニルアレーンが、スチレン、アルファメチルスチレン、o−メチルスチレン、p−メチルスチレン、ビニルトルエン、ビニルナフタレン、パラ−ブチルスチレンまたはこれらの2種以上の混合物の群から選択される、請求項15に記載の布地、発泡体または硬質シート基材をコーティングする方法。
- 前記水素添加ジエンが、水素添加ブタジエン、水素添加イソプレンまたはこれらの混合物の群から選択される、請求項15に記載の布地、発泡体または硬質シート基材をコーティングする方法。
- 組成物を用いて射出成形、押出、熱成形、回転成形またはスラッシュ成形によって成形物品を製造する方法であって、前記組成物が
約50から約70重量%のブロックコポリマー、
約15から約25重量%の少なくとも1種のブテンのホモポリマーまたはコポリマー、
約12から約24重量%の少なくとも1種のポリオレフィンホモポリマーまたはコポリマー
を含み、
前記ブロックコポリマーが、0.85g/ccを超える比重を有する水素添加低ビニルポリブタジエン末端ブロックを有し、およびポリアルケニルアレーン/水素添加ジエンの制御分布中間ブロックを有し、ならびに前記組成物の総重量が100重量%に等しく、および前記組成物を、前記成形物品を形成するステップの前に溶融混合する、方法。 - 組成物を含む物品であって、前記組成物が、
(i)前記組成物の総重量に対して約50から約70重量のブロックコポリマーであって、前記ブロックコポリマーが、2個の末端ブロックおよび少なくとも1個の中間ブロックを有し、前記末端ブロックが0.85g/ccを超える比重を有する水素添加低ビニルポリブタジエン末端ブロックであり、および前記中間ブロックが、ポリアルケニルアレーンおよび水素添加ジエンを含む制御分布中間ブロックである、ブロックコポリマー、ならびに
(ii)前記組成物の総重量に対して約30から約50重量%の少なくとも1種のポリオレフィンホモポリマー、プロピレンのコポリマーまたはブテンのコポリマー
を含み、前記組成物の総重量%が100重量%に等しく、および前記組成物が2.16kg質量で230℃にて測定した、約5から約100g/10分のメルトフローレートを有する、物品。
