Abstract
Description
用語の定義が該用語の一般的に使用される意味から外れる場合は、出願人は、特に示さない限りは、以下に提供される定義を用いることを意図する。
複数の材料を言う。例えば、フィルタのタイプに依存して、フィルタ材料が、エネルギー補償材料、コンバータ材料、参照フィルタ材料、共形材料などであってもよい。本発明のフィルタ材料は、光励起されたルミネセンス材料とともに用いられるものとして主に以下に記載されるが、本発明のフィルタ材料は、の他のタイプの放射線感知材料(例えば、サーモルミネセンス線量測定(TLD)材料)とともに用いられてもよい。
現在の個体用放射線監視デバイスでは、放射線センサは、上記センサに達することができる放射線の量、エネルギーおよびタイプを変える1つ以上のフィルタを備えるホルダ内に一般的に取り込まれる。これらのフィルタは、典型的にはセンサをはさみ、上記放射線が様々な入射角から線量計に入るときに、正確な評価をする。センサを解析するために、フィルタとホルダとの間からセンサを取り出し、放射線への曝露後にセンサによって示される量的特性を引き出すのに要するプロセシングシステムに物理的に提供しなければならない。
Claims (22)
- 光刺激ルミネセンス(OSL)リーダーを備えるデバイスであって、
該OSLリーダーが、該OSLリーダーの光学ライトパイプの上方に位置するOSLセンサを読み取るためのリーダーであり、
該OSLリーダーが、
該OSLセンサの光刺激ルミネセンス材料(OSLM)を刺激するための励起光を放射する光源;および
該OSLセンサを該励起光で均一に照射するための該光学ライトパイプを備え、
該励起光が第1の光路を規定し、
該光パイプが、該光源と該OSLリーダーの読み取り位置との間の第1の光路上に設置され、そして
該OSLリーダーが、該励起光を透過させ、かつ該OSLセンサにより放射されたルミネセンス光を該発光検出器に反射する、ダイクロイックミラーを備え、該ダイクロイックミラーが、該光源と該光学ライトパイプとの間の該第1の光路上に設置されている、
デバイス。 - 前記光源が発光ダイオード(LED)を備える、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記OSLリーダーが、該OSLセンサが前記励起光で照射された後に該OSLセンサにより放射されたルミネセンス光を検出するための発光検出器を備える、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記発光検出器が光電子増倍管の一部である、請求項3に記載のデバイス。
- 前記OLSセンサが、前記励起光中の非緑色光を除外するためのグリーンフィルタを備え、該グリーンフィルタが、前記光源と前記光学ライトパイプとの間の前記第1の光路上に設置されている、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記グリーンフィルタがグリーンガラスフィルタを備え、該グリーンガラスフィルタおよび前記ダイクロイックフィルタが、前記OSLリーダーのフォトオプティカルエンジンフレームの開口部内に備え付けられたフィルタ光学アセンブリの一部であり、該フィルタ光学アセンブリが、該OSLリーダーが移動または振動する際に実質的に移動または振動しない、請求項6に記載のデバイス。
- 前記デバイスが、前記放射されたルミネセンス光からの非青色光を除外し、かつ前記グリーンフィルタによって除かれない迷光または励起光を除外するためのブルーフィルタを備え、該放射されたルミネセンス光が第2の光路を規定し、該ブルーフィルタが、前記ダイクロイックミラーと前記発光検出器との間の該第2の光路上に設置されている、請求項6に記載のデバイス。
- 前記第1の光路および前記第2の光路が、前記OSLリーダーが移動または振動する際に実質的に移動または振動しない、請求項8に記載のデバイス。
- 前記OSLリーダーが活動センサを備え、該活動センサが、励起光の一部が前記ダイクロイックミラーにより反射されるために該活動センサによって非ゼロ(非0)読み取りが受信された際に、該OSLリーダーが動作することを決定するためのセンサである、請求項8に記載のデバイス。
- 前記OSLセンサの前記OSLMが、前記光学ライトパイプの出口から約1mmである、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記OSLリーダーがダイクロイックミラーおよび活動センサを備え、該活動センサが、励起光の一部が該ダイクロイックミラーにより反射されるために該活動センサによって非ゼロ(非0)読み取りが受信された際に、該OSLリーダーが動作することを決定するためのセンサである、請求項1に記載のデバイス。

- 前記励起光源が、約520nmの波長を有する励起光を送信し、そしてOSLセンサが、該OSLセンサが該励起光で照射されるのに応じて約420nmの波長でルミネセンス光を放射する、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記OSLリーダーが、該OSLリーダーが移動している間、前記OSLセンサを読み取り得る、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- フィルタ光学アセンブリを備えるデバイスであって、該アセンブリが、以下のコンポーネント:
