Abstract
【解決手段】ノズル形成面39に開口したノズル38に連通する圧力室31、該圧力室31に液体を供給する共通液室23が形成された連通板19、並びに該連通板19における共通液室23のノズル形成面39側の開口面を密封する可撓性フィルム21、を有する液体噴射ヘッド2と、窪み状の封止空部13を有し、該封止空部13内にノズル形成面39を臨ませて封止可能な封止部材11と、を備え、該封止部材11は、ノズル形成面39の封止状態で可撓性フィルム21の少なくとも一部を封止空部13内に臨ませて封止可能に構成された。

Description
窪み状の封止空部を有し、該封止空部内に前記ノズル形成面を臨ませて封止可能な封止部材と、を備え、
該封止部材は、前記ノズル形成面の封止状態で前記可撓性フィルムの少なくとも一部を封止空部内に臨ませて封止可能に構成されたことを特徴とする。
前記封止部材は、前記保護基板の可撓性フィルムとは反対側の面側から、当該保護基板を含めて可撓性フィルムを前記封止空部内に臨ませた状態で封止可能であることが望ましい。
Claims (5)
- ノズル形成面に開口したノズルに連通する圧力室、
該圧力室に液体を供給する共通液室が形成された基板、
並びに該基板における共通液室のノズル形成面側の開口面を密封する可撓性フィルム、を有する液体噴射ヘッドと、
窪み状の封止空部を有し、該封止空部内に前記ノズル形成面を臨ませて封止可能な封止部材と、を備え、
該封止部材は、前記ノズル形成面の封止状態で前記可撓性フィルムの少なくとも一部を封止空部内に臨ませて封止可能に構成されたことを特徴とする液体噴射装置。 - 前記封止部材は、前記可撓性フィルムの前記共通液室とは反対側の面のうち当該共通液室に対応する部分の全面を封止可能であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液体噴射装置。
- 前記液体噴射ヘッドは、前記可撓性フィルムの前記共通液室とは反対側の面を覆った状態で保護すると共に、前記可撓性フィルムの前記共通液室に対応する部分のうち少なくとも一部に当該可撓性フィルムの可撓変形を阻害しない空間を設けた保護基板を備え、
前記封止部材は、前記保護基板の可撓性フィルムとは反対側の面側から、当該保護基板を含めて可撓性フィルムを前記封止空部内に臨ませた状態で封止可能であることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の液体噴射装置。 - 前記保護基板は、前記可撓性フィルムの周囲を囲繞する壁部と、前記可撓性フィルムの前記共通液室とは反対側の面から離間した底部と、を備えたことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の液体噴射装置。
- 前記保護基板は、前記可撓性フィルムに積層され、共通液室に対応する部分のうち少なくとも一部に開口を設けたことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の液体噴射装置。
