Abstract
【解決手段】燃料電池10を構成する第1金属セパレータ18及び第2金属セパレータを製造する方法である。この第1金属セパレータ18の製造方法では、金属プレート22の外周縁部両面に、燃料ガス供給連通孔30aを含む各流体連通孔を閉塞して第1シール部材44を一体成形する成形工程と、前記第1シール部材44にトリミング処理を施すことにより、前記流体連通孔を閉塞する部分を除去するトリミング工程とを有している。

Claims (2)
- 金属プレートの外周縁部両面にシール部材が一体成形されるとともに、少なくとも燃料ガス、酸化剤ガス又は冷却媒体である流体を流通させる流体連通孔が設けられる燃料電池用金属セパレータの製造方法であって、
前記金属プレートの前記外周縁部両面に、前記流体連通孔を閉塞して前記シール部材を一体成形する成形工程と、
前記シール部材にトリミング処理を施すことにより、前記流体連通孔を閉塞する部分を除去するトリミング工程と、
を有することを特徴とする燃料電池用金属セパレータの製造方法。 - 請求項1記載の製造方法において、前記シール部材の前記流体連通孔を閉塞する部分は、前記金属プレートを覆う部分の肉厚と同等の肉厚に設定される厚肉部と、前記厚肉部に周回され且つ該厚肉部よりも薄い肉厚に設定される薄肉部とを有し、
前記トリミング工程では、前記薄肉部を含んで前記厚肉部の一部を除去することを特徴とする燃料電池用金属セパレータの製造方法。
