Claims (5)
- 電解質の両側に一対の電極を設けた電解質・電極構造体と、セパレータとが積層されるとともに、少なくとも反応ガス又は冷却媒体を前記セパレータの積層方向に流す連通孔が設けられる燃料電池であって、
前記セパレータは、金属プレートの外周縁部両面にシール部材が一体成形されるとともに、
前記金属プレートには、前記連通孔を周回して額縁状のリブ部が設けられ、
前記リブ部は、前記積層方向に隣接する他のセパレータに接触するリブ面が、前記金属プレートの前記連通孔を形成する内周端面よりも前記連通孔側に離間して配置されることを特徴とする燃料電池。 - 請求項1記載の燃料電池において、前記シール部材は、少なくとも前記連通孔を周回する部位に、前記積層方向に隣接する他のシール部材側に突出する凸状シール部を有するとともに、
前記リブ部は、前記金属プレートに対して前記凸状シール部側にのみ設けられることを特徴とする燃料電池。 - 請求項1又は2記載の燃料電池において、前記リブ部は、前記シール部材と一体に前記金属プレートに成形されることを特徴とする燃料電池。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の燃料電池において、前記リブ部の前記連通孔を形成する内周壁面は、隣り合う前記リブ部の内周壁面と連続して平坦面を構成することを特徴とする燃料電池。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の燃料電池において、前記リブ部は、一方の面に前記積層方向に突出するリブ面を有するとともに、他方の面に平坦面を有し、
一方の前記リブ部のリブ面が、他方の前記リブ部の平坦面に当接することを特徴とする燃料電池。
