Claims (2)
- 電解質の両側に一対の電極が設けられる電解質・電極構造体と金属セパレータとが積層されるとともに、前記金属セパレータには、前記電極に対向して反応ガスを流通させる反応ガス流路と、前記反応ガス流路を囲繞するゴムシール部材とが設けられる燃料電池を備え、複数の前記燃料電池が積層される燃料電池スタックであって、
前記反応ガス流路は、複数本の凸部間に形成される一方、
前記反応ガス流路の反応ガス流れ方向に交差する幅方向両端に位置する前記凸部と前記ゴムシール部材との間には、反応ガスの流通を規制する樹脂製閉塞部材が配設され、
前記樹脂製閉塞部材は、前記金属セパレータにアウトサート成形されており、一方の前記電極に当接するとともに、
前記燃料電池が積層されて前記金属セパレータに積層方向に締め付け荷重が付与されることにより前記金属セパレータ及び前記ゴムシール部材が圧縮された際、互いに隣接する前記金属セパレータを構成する金属板同士の間隔が、前記樹脂製閉塞部材を挟んだ部位と前記ゴムシール部材を挟んだ部位とで同等になるように、該樹脂製閉塞部材の厚さが設定されることを特徴とする燃料電池スタック。 - 請求項1記載の燃料電池スタックにおいて、前記金属セパレータは、断面波形状に凹凸成形されるとともに、
前記反応ガス流路は、前記凸部である波形状を有する複数本の波状凸部間に形成されることを特徴とする燃料電池スタック。
