Claims (2)
- 電解質の両面に電極が設けられた電解質膜・電極構造体と波板形状の金属セパレータとが積層されるとともに、前記金属セパレータの一方の面には、燃料ガス、酸化剤ガス又は冷却媒体である流体のいずれかが流通される第1流体流路及びバッファ部が形成され、前記金属セパレータの他方の面には、前記流体の他のいずれかが流通される第2流体流路及びバッファ部が形成される燃料電池であって、
互いに前記電解質膜・電極構造体を挟んで隣接する、又は直接隣接する第1及び第2の金属セパレータを備え、
前記第1の金属セパレータは、前記バッファ部に前記第2の金属セパレータ側に突出するエンボス凸部を設け、
前記第2の金属セパレータは、前記バッファ部に前記第1の金属セパレータ側に突出する連続ガイド凸部を設けるとともに、
前記エンボス凸部と前記連続ガイド凸部とは、積層方向に互いに重なり合う位置に設定され、
各金属セパレータは、前記バッファ部の一方の面に突出する前記エンボス凸部と前記バッファ部の他方の面に突出する前記連続ガイド凸部とが、交互に設けられることを特徴とする燃料電池。 - 請求項1記載の燃料電池において、前記燃料電池は、アノード側金属セパレータ、第1の電解質膜・電極構造体、中間金属セパレータ、第2の電解質膜・電極構造体及びカソード側金属セパレータの順に積層されるセルユニットを備えるとともに、
互いに隣接する前記セルユニットは、一方の前記エンボス凸部及び前記連続ガイド凸部と他方の前記エンボス凸部及び前記連続ガイド凸部とが、異なる位相に設定されることを特徴とする燃料電池。
