Claims (20)
- 音響装置であって、
パイプ内に音響エネルギーを放射するように該パイプと音響的に結合されている音響ドライバを具備し、
前記パイプは、少なくとも前記パイプの長さの一部に沿った細長い開口部を備え、
前記開口部を通って音響エネルギーが周囲に放射され、
前記放射は、体積速度によって特徴付けられており、
前記パイプおよび開口部は、体積速度が前記パイプの長さに沿ってほぼ一定であるように構成されていることを特徴とする音響装置。 - 前記パイプは、前記パイプに沿った圧力がほぼ一定であるように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の音響装置。
- 前記開口部において音響的な抵抗物質をさらに具備することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の音響装置。
- 前記音響的な抵抗物質の抵抗は、前記パイプの長さに沿って異なることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の音響装置。
- 前記開口部の幅は、前記パイプの長さに沿って異なることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の音響装置。
- 前記開口部は、楕円形であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の音響装置。
- 前記パイプの断面積は、前記パイプの長さに沿って異なることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の音響装置。
- 前記パイプは、少なくとも屈曲または湾曲していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の音響装置。
- 前記開口部は、その長さに沿って少なくとも屈曲または湾曲していることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の音響装置。
- 前記開口部は、少なくとも屈曲または湾曲している面にあることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の音響装置。
- 前記開口部は、前記音響ドライバの軸が、ノンゼロにおいて、前記音響ドライバの軸に対して垂直でない角度で交差する平面内に位置することを特徴とする請求項1または請求項7に記載の音響装置。
- 前記開口部は、ノンゼロにおいて、前記軸に対して垂直でない角度で、前記パイプをカットすることにより成形された開口部に一致することを特徴とする請求項11に記載の音響装置。
- 前記パイプおよび前記開口部は、前記音響エネルギーが前記パイプの終端に到達する前に、前記音響ドライバにより放射されるほぼすべての前記音響エネルギーが前記開口部を通って放射されるように、構成されるとともに特定の寸法に合わせられていることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項3に記載の音響装置。
- ラウドスピーカデバイスを動作させる方法であって、
音響エネルギーをパイプ内へ放射するステップと、
前記パイプから、前記パイプの細長い開口部を通って、ほぼ一定の体積速度において前記音響エネルギーを放射するステップと、
を具備することを特徴とするラウドスピーカデバイスを動作させる方法。 - 前記パイプから放射するステップは、前記開口部に沿った圧力がほぼ一定となるように前記音響エネルギーを放射するステップを具備していることを特徴とする請求項14に記載のラウドスピーカデバイスを動作させる方法。
- 前記パイプから音響的な抵抗物質を介して前記開口部を通って、前記音響エネルギーを放射するステップをさらに具備することを特徴とする請求項14に記載のラウドスピーカデバイスを動作させる方法。
- パイプの長さに沿って断面積が異なるパイプ内に音響エネルギーを放射するステップをさらに具備していることを特徴とする請求項14に記載のラウドスピーカデバイスを動作させる方法。
- 音響装置は、
パイプ内に音響エネルギーを放射するように該パイプと音響的に結合されている音響ドライバを具備し、
前記パイプは、少なくとも前記パイプの長さの一部に沿った細長い開口部を具備しており、
前記開口部を通って、音響エネルギーは、周囲に放射され、
前記開口部は、前記音響ドライバの軸がノンゼロにおいて、前記音響ドライバの軸に対して垂直でない角度で交差する平面内に位置することを特徴とする音響装置。 - 前記開口部において音響的な抵抗物質をさらに具備することを特徴とする請求項18に記載の音響装置。
- 音響装置であって、
パイプ内に音響エネルギーを放射するように該パイプと音響的に結合されている音響ドライバと、
前記パイプから周囲へ放射されるすべての音響エネルギーが抵抗性のある開口部を通って出るための、前記パイプのすべての開口部における音響的な抵抗物質と、
を具備していることを特徴とする音響装置。
