本発明の殺菌剤において、銀部材(銀材料)は、銀イオンを含むイオン;銀、銀合金若しくは銀イオンを含む粒子;又は、銀、銀合金若しくは銀イオンを含む薄膜から成る構成とすることができる。ここで、銀合金として、銀とルテニウムの合金、銀とロジウムの合金、銀とパラジウムの合金、銀と金の合金、銀と白金の合金、銀とコバルトの合金、銀とニッケルの合金、銀と銅の合金を例示することができるし、銀イオンとして、硝酸銀の形態、塩化銀の形態、硫酸銀の形態を例示することができる。多孔質炭素材料に銀部材を付着させる方法として、銀塩水溶液への含浸、更には、還元剤による銀の還元析出といった方法を例示することができる。

実施例1の殺菌剤の製造においては、先ず、植物由来の材料を400゜C乃至1400゜Cにて炭素化した後、酸又はアルカリで処理することによって、多孔質炭素材料を得た。即ち、先ず、籾殻に対して、不活性ガス中で加熱処理(予備炭素化処理)を施す。具体的には、籾殻を、窒素気流中において500゜C、5時間、加熱することにより炭化させ、炭化物を得た。尚、このような処理を行うことで、次の炭素化の際に生成されるであろうタール成分を減少あるいは除去することができる。その後、この炭化物の10グラムをアルミナ製の坩堝に入れ、窒素気流中(5リットル/分)において5゜C/分の昇温速度で800゜Cまで昇温させた。そして、800゜Cで1時間、炭素化して、炭素質物質(多孔質炭素材料前駆体)に変換した後、室温まで冷却した。尚、炭素化及び冷却中、窒素ガスを流し続けた。次に、この多孔質炭素材料前駆体を46容積%のフッ化水素酸水溶液に一晩浸漬することで酸処理を行った後、水及びエチルアルコールを用いてpH7になるまで洗浄した。尚、こうして得られた多孔質炭素材料を、便宜上、『多孔質炭素材料−A』と呼ぶ。次いで、120°Cにて乾燥させた後、900゜Cで水蒸気気流中にて3時間加熱させることで賦活処理を行うことで、多孔質炭素材料を得ることができた。尚、こうして得られた多孔質炭素材料を、便宜上、『多孔質炭素材料−B』と呼ぶ。
次いで、得られた多孔質炭素材料−Bに銀部材を付着(担持、吸着、結合)させた。尚、多孔質炭素材料に機能性材料を付着させる処理を、以下、『複合化処理』と呼ぶ場合がある。具体的には、182ミリリットルの蒸留水に0.43グラムの多孔質炭素材料−Bを添加し、30分間、撹拌した。そして、そこへ5ミリモル/リットルの硝酸銀水溶液を8ミリリットルを添加して、更に1時間撹拌した後に、40ミリモル/リットルの水素化ホウ素ナトリウムを10ミリリットル添加して、一晩撹拌した。得られた粉末をフィルターによって濾過し、蒸留水で洗浄後、120゜Cで乾燥することで、実施例1−Aの殺菌剤を得た。
あるいは又、得られた多孔質炭素材料−Bに、上述とは異なる方法で銀部材を付着(担持、吸着、結合)させた。具体的には、1.33ミリモル/リットルの硝酸銀水溶液、15ミリリットルに0.215グラムの多孔質炭素材料−Bを添加し、30分間、撹拌した。その後、100゜Cに加熱し、沸騰等を確認した後、20ミリモル/リットルのクエン酸3ナトリウム水溶液を5ミリリットル滴下し、15分間、還流した。そして、得られた粉末をフィルターによって濾過し、蒸留水で洗浄後、120゜Cで乾燥することで、実施例1−Bの殺菌剤を得た。

光触媒材料は、カチオンあるいはアニオンがドーピングされた酸化チタンから成る。
(A)多孔質炭素材料、及び、
(B)該多孔質炭素材料に付着した光触媒材料、
から成り、
光触媒材料は、カチオンあるいはアニオンがドーピングされた酸化チタンから成る。そして、窒素BET法による比表面積の値が10m2/グラム以上、非局在化密度汎関数法によって求められた直径1×10-9m乃至5×10-7mの細孔の容積の合計が0.1cm3/グラム以上である。あるいは又、実施例2の光触媒複合材料(あるいは、この光触媒複合材料に基づく浄化剤)は、窒素BET法による比表面積の値が10m2/グラム以上、非局在化密度汎関数法によって求められた細孔径分布において、3nm乃至20nmの範囲内に少なくとも1つのピークを有し、3nm乃至20nmの範囲内に細孔径を有する細孔の容積の合計の占める割合は、全細孔の容積総計の0.2以上である。

Claims (10)
- (A)多孔質炭素材料、及び、
(B)該多孔質炭素材料に付着した銀部材、
から成り、
窒素BET法による比表面積の値が10m2/グラム以上、BJH法及びMP法による細孔の容積が0.1cm3/グラム以上である殺菌剤。 - 銀部材は、銀、銀合金若しくは銀イオンを含む粒子、又は、銀、銀合金若しくは銀イオンを含む薄膜から成る請求項1に記載の殺菌剤。
- (A)多孔質炭素材料、及び、
(B)該多孔質炭素材料に付着した光触媒材料、
から成り、
窒素BET法による比表面積の値が10m2/グラム以上、BJH法及びMP法による細孔の容積が0.1cm3/グラム以上であり、
光触媒材料は、カチオンあるいはアニオンがドーピングされた酸化チタンから成る光触媒複合材料。 - 光触媒材料は、波長200nm乃至600nmの光のエネルギーを吸収する請求項3に記載の光触媒複合材料。
- (A)多孔質炭素材料、及び、
(B)該多孔質炭素材料に付着した有機材料、
から成り、
窒素BET法による比表面積の値が10m2/グラム以上、BJH法及びMP法による細孔の容積が0.1cm3/グラム以上であり、
有機材料は金属を吸着する吸着剤。 - 有機材料は、フェノール基、カルボキシル基、アミノ基、チオール基、ケトン基、リン酸基、アルキル基、エーテル基及びチオニル基から成る群から選択された少なくとも1種類の基を有する有機材料である請求項5に記載の吸着剤。
- 金属は、クロム、水銀、ヒ素、鉛、カドミウム、スズ、銅、亜鉛、リチウム、ベリリウム、ホウ素、チタン、バナジウム、マンガン、コバルト、ニッケル、ガリウム、ゲルマニウム、セレン、ルビジウム、ストロンチウム、ジルコニウム、ニオブ、モリブデン、パラジウム、インジウム、アンチモン、テルル、セシウム、バリウム、ハフニウム、タンタル、タングステン、レニウム、白金、タリウム、ビスマス、スカンジウム、イットリウム、ランタン、セリウム、プラセオジウム、ネオジム、プロメチウム、サマリウム、ユーロピウム、ガドリニウム、テルビウム、ジスプロシウム、ホルミウム、エルビウム、ツリウム、イッテルビウム、又は、ルテチウムである請求項5又は請求項6に記載の吸着剤。
- (A)多孔質炭素材料、及び、
(B)該多孔質炭素材料に付着した有機材料、
から成り、
窒素BET法による比表面積の値が10m2/グラム以上、BJH法及びMP法による細孔の容積が0.1cm3/グラム以上であり、
有機材料は金属を吸着する浄化剤。 - 有機材料は、フェノール基、カルボキシル基、アミノ基、チオール基、ケトン基及びリン酸基から成る群から選択された少なくとも1種類の基を有する有機材料である請求項8に記載の浄化剤。
- 金属は、クロム、水銀、ヒ素、鉛、カドミウム、スズ、銅、亜鉛、リチウム、ベリリウム、ホウ素、チタン、バナジウム、マンガン、コバルト、ニッケル、ガリウム、ゲルマニウム、セレン、ルビジウム、ストロンチウム、ジルコニウム、ニオブ、モリブデン、パラジウム、インジウム、アンチモン、テルル、セシウム、バリウム、ハフニウム、タンタル、タングステン、レニウム、白金、タリウム、ビスマス、スカンジウム、イットリウム、ランタン、セリウム、プラセオジウム、ネオジム、プロメチウム、サマリウム、ユーロピウム、ガドリニウム、テルビウム、ジスプロシウム、ホルミウム、エルビウム、ツリウム、イッテルビウム、又は、ルテチウムである請求項8又は請求項9に記載の浄化剤。
