Abstract
【解決手段】回転ドラム11の内部には測定部13が設けられており、測定部13は、他端部11bの内壁の中央領域に設置された透光部材13aと光学センサ13bとを備えている。粉粒体のコーティング処理時、透光部材13aの表面と接触する粉粒体層Aの粒子の物性(被膜厚み、水分、コーティング性能、不純物等)に関する情報を透光部材13aを介してNIRセンサ13bによりリアルタイムで測定し、そのデータをNRI分光分析装置の処理部で処理してモニターし、その結果に応じて、フィードバック制御又は手動操作でコーティング操作条件(給気風量、給気温度、スプレー条件、回転ドラム1の回転数等)を適宜調整することにより、高い品質のコーティング処理を行うことが可能となる。

Claims (3)
- 処理すべき粉粒体が内部に収容され、その軸線回りに回転駆動される回転ドラムを備えたコーティング装置において、
前記回転ドラムの内部に測定部が設けられており、該測定部は、前記回転ドラムの内部の粉粒体層と接触するように配置された透光部材と、該透光部材と接触する前記粉粒体層の粒子の物性を該透光部材を介して測定する光学センサとを備えていることを特徴とするコーティング装置。 - 前記光学センサが近赤外線分光分析装置の近赤外線センサであることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のコーティング装置。
- 前記回転ドラムの軸方向の一方の端部は、該回転ドラムを回転駆動する回転駆動機構の中空状駆動軸に連結され、前記測定部は前記回転ドラムの前記端部に設けられていると共に、該測定部の内部は前記中空状駆動軸の中空部に通じていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のコーティング装置。
