Abstract
【解決手段】基板と、基板上に形成された第1の電極と、第1の電極上に形成された有機発光層を含む有機発光媒体層と、有機発光媒体層上に形成され、第1の電極と対向するように配置された第2の電極と、第2の電極上に形成された第1のパッシベーション層と、第1の電極と有機発光媒体層と第2の電極と第1のパッシベーション層とを覆うように形成され、基板と接着された接着層と、接着層上に形成された封止基板と、封止基板を含む全面を覆うように形成され、基板に接合された第2のパッシベーション層と、を備えることを特徴とする有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子。

Description
比較例1においては、図3に示すように、実施例1における第2のパッシベーション層18を設けず、さらに乾燥剤38を入れたガラスキャップ37構造の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子30を作製した。
比較例2においては、図2に示すように、実施例1における第2のパッシベーション層18を設けないことを除いて、実施例1と同様に有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子20を作製した。
Claims (10)
- 基板と、
前記基板上に形成された第1の電極と、
前記第1の電極上に形成された有機発光層を含む有機発光媒体層と、
前記有機発光媒体層上に形成され、前記第1の電極と対向するように配置された第2の電極と、
前記第2の電極上に形成された第1のパッシベーション層と、
前記第1の電極と前記有機発光媒体層と前記第2の電極と前記第1のパッシベーション層とを覆うように形成され、前記基板と接着された接着層と、
前記接着層上に形成された封止基板と、
前記封止基板を含む全面を覆うように形成され、前記基板に接合された第2のパッシベーション層と、
を備えることを特徴とする有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子。 - 前記封止基板は、平板構造であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子。
- 前記第1のパッシベーション層は、金属酸化物、金属窒化物、金属酸窒化物、金属弗化物のいずれかであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子。
- 前記第2のパッシベーション層は、窒化珪素または酸化窒化珪素からなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子。
- 前記封止基板がプラスチックフィルムであり、該封止基板と接着層との間に形成された第3のパッシベーション層を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子。
- 基板を準備し、
前記基板上に第1の電極を形成し、
前記第1の電極上に有機発光層を含む有機発光媒体層を形成し、
前記有機発光媒体層を挟んで前記第1の電極と対向するように第2の電極を形成し、
前記第2の電極上に第1のパッシベーション層を形成し、
前記第1の電極と前記有機発光媒体層と前記第2の電極と前記第1のパッシベーション層とを覆い、前記基板に接着する接着層を形成し、
前記接着層上に封止基板を形成し、
前記封止基板を含む全面を覆い、前記基板に接合する第2のパッシベーション層を形成することを特徴とする有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子の製造方法。 - 前記封止基板は、平板構造であることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子の製造方法。
- 前記第1のパッシベーション層は、金属酸化物、金属窒化物、金属酸窒化物、金属弗化物のいずれかであることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子の製造方法。
- 前記第2のパッシベーション層は、CVD法を用いて形成することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子の製造方法。
- 前記封止基板が少なくとも一方の面に第3のパッシベーション層を形成したプラスチックフィルムであり、前記第3のパッシベーション層を形成した面を前記接着層と貼り合わせたことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子の製造方法。
