Abstract
【解決手段】キャパシタ正極集電箔の一方の面に活性炭の微粒子を含むキャパシタ正極電極層を形成したキャパシタ正極と、第一のセパレータと、貫通孔を有する負極集電箔の一方の面に負極電極層を形成した共通負極と、第二のセパレータと、電池正極集電箔の一方の面にリチウム含有金属化合物の粒子を含んだ電池正極電極層を形成した電池正極とを備え、第一のセパレータを、キャパシタ正極電極層と負極電極層とで挟持し、第二のセパレータを、負極集電箔と電池正極電極層とで挟持したものである。

Description
図1は、この発明を実施するための実施の形態1に係わる電力貯蔵デバイスセルの断面模式図である。貫通孔1を有する負極集電箔2の片面に負極電極層3を塗布した共通負極4と、活性炭微粒子を含むキャパシタ正極電極層5をキャパシタ正極集電箔6に塗布したキャパシタ正極7とを第一のセパレータ8を介して対峙させ、リチウム含有金属化合物の微粒子を含むリチウムイオンの電池正極電極層9を電池正極集電箔10に塗布した電池正極11と、負極集電箔2の負極電極層3が塗布されていない面とを第二のセパレータ12を介して対峙させている。
実施の形態2においては、実施の形態1で得られる電力貯蔵デバイスセルの特性と従来のリチウムイオン電池の特性とを比較したものである。
図8は、この発明の実施の形態3に係わる電力貯蔵デバイスセルの平面図(a)とB−B’断面模式図(b)である。本実施の形態においては、実施の形態1の電気二重層キャパシタとリチウムイオン電池との一対の組合せを4個重ねたものである。図6において、
積層された部分でのキャパシタ正極集電箔と電池正極集電箔とは、1つの共通正極集電箔27で構成されている。さらに積層された最上部と最下部には、アルミラミネート容器17とキャパシタ正極集電箔および電池正極集電箔との間に電気絶縁シート28が配置されている。この電気絶縁シート28は、例えば厚さ約0.2mmのポリエチレンテレフタレートを用いることができる。
図9は、この発明の実施の形態4に係わる電力貯蔵デバイスセルを構成する部材の断面模式図である。本実施の形態においては、実施の形態1の電気二重層キャパシタとリチウムイオン電池との一対の組合せを券回したものである。図7において、キャパシタ正極電極層5の上に、共通正極集電箔27が載せられ、さらにその上に、順に電池正極電極層9、第二のセパレータ12、負極集電箔2、負極電極層3および第一のセパレータ8が積層されている。キャパシタ正極電極層5と共通正極集電箔27と電池正極電極層9とで共通正極29が構成されており、負極集電箔2と負極電極層3とで共通負極4が構成されている。これらの電極およびセパレータは、幅が約3cmで長さが約3mの帯状である。
図11は、この発明の実施の形態5に係わる電力貯蔵デバイスセルの断面模式図である。
実施の形態1と異なるのは、負極電極層3が、負極集電箔2に設けられた貫通孔1の内部にまで侵入していることである。あらかじめ貫通孔1を備えた負極集電箔2に負極電極層3を、例えばスクリーン印刷法を用いて塗布した場合には、このように貫通孔1の内部まで負極電極層3が侵入することは起こりうることである。
図12は、この発明の実施の形態6に係わる電力貯蔵デバイスセルの断面模式図である。実施の形態1と異なるのは、負極電極層3が、負極集電箔2に設けられた貫通孔1の内部および負極集電箔2の第二のセパレータ12に対向した面にも形成されていることである。このような構成は、実施の形態5と同様に、あらかじめ貫通孔1を備えた負極集電箔2に負極電極層3を、例えばスクリーン印刷法を用いて塗布した場合には起こりうることである。

Claims (8)
- キャパシタ正極集電箔の一方の面に活性炭の微粒子を含むキャパシタ正極電極層が形成されたキャパシタ正極と、
第一のセパレータと、
貫通孔を有する負極集電箔の一方の面に負極電極層が形成された共通負極と、
第二のセパレータと、
電池正極集電箔の一方の面にリチウム含有金属化合物の粒子を含んだ電池正極電極層が形成された電池正極と
を備えた電力貯蔵デバイスセルであって、
前記第一のセパレータは、前記キャパシタ正極電極層と前記負極電極層とで挟持されており、
前記第二のセパレータは、前記負極集電箔と前記電池正極電極層とで挟持されていることを特徴とする電力貯蔵デバイスセル。 - リチウム含有金属化合物が、オリビン型リン酸鉄リチウムであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の電力貯蔵デバイスセル。
- 第二のセパレータの平均気孔径が、第一のセパレータの平均気孔径よりも大きいことを特徴とする請求項1記載の電力貯蔵デバイスセル。
- 第二のセパレータが、200℃以下で溶融するオレフィン系多孔質紙で構成されたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の電力貯蔵デバイスセル。
- キャパシタ正極、第一のセパレータ、共通負極、第二のセパレータおよび電池正極を順次多層に積層されたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の電力貯蔵デバイスセル。
- キャパシタ正極、第一のセパレータ、共通負極、第二のセパレータおよび電池正極を順次積層されて巻回されたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の電力貯蔵デバイスセル。
- 第二のセパレータに面する負極集電箔の表面に電気絶縁被膜が形成されたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の電力貯蔵デバイスセル。
- 請求項2記載の電力貯蔵デバイスセルの制御方法であって、
2V以上4V以下の電圧範囲に上限電圧および下限電圧が定められて充放電制御されることを特徴とする電力貯蔵デバイスセルの制御方法。
