Abstract
Description

Claims (15)
- 内燃機関を潤滑させるための方法であって、該方法は、該機関に潤滑組成物を供給する工程を包含し、該潤滑組成物は、
(a)潤滑粘度の油;
(b)20,000未満の数平均分子量を有する油溶性チタン含有物質の形態の、重量で約1ppm〜約1000ppmのチタン;
(c)Ti含有酸化防止剤以外の酸化防止剤、および
(d)Ti含有洗浄剤以外の金属含有洗浄剤、
を含有する、方法。 - 前記油溶性チタン含有物質が、チタン(IV)アルコキシドまたはチタン(IV)カルボン酸塩を含有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記油溶性チタン含有物質が、チタン(IV)イソプロポキシドを含有する、請求項1に記載の潤滑組成物。
- 前記油溶性チタン含有物質が、チタンで修飾された分散剤を含有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記油溶性チタン含有物質が、チタンアルコキシドとヒドロカルビル置換無水コハク酸との反応生成物を含有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記油溶性チタン含有物質が、表面修飾されたTiO2ナノ粒子を含有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記チタンの量が、重量で約1ppm〜50ppm未満である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記組成物中のモリブデンの量が、重量で150ppm未満である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記潤滑組成物が、
(e)耐磨耗剤、および
(f)分散剤、
からなる群より選択される少なくとも1種の添加剤をさらに含有する、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記耐磨耗剤が、リン含有耐磨耗剤を含有する、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記組成物が、重量で約1200ppm未満のリンを含有する、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記内燃機関が、ヘビーデューティーディーゼル機関である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 潤滑組成物であって、
(a)潤滑粘度の油;
(b)油溶性チタン含有物質の形態の、約1ppm〜50ppm未満のチタンであって、該油溶性チタン含有物質は、チタンアルコキシド、チタンで修飾された分散剤、芳香族カルボン酸のチタン塩、および硫黄含有酸のチタン塩からなる群より選択される、チタン;ならびに
(c)少なくとも1種の添加剤であって、
(i)耐磨耗剤、
(ii)分散剤、
(iii)酸化防止剤、および
(iv)洗浄剤、
からなる群より選択される、添加剤、
を含有する、潤滑組成物。 - 潤滑組成物を調製するための方法であって、該方法は、請求項13に記載の成分を混合する工程を包含する、方法。
- 請求項14の成分を混合することにより調製された、組成物。
