Claims (21)

  1. ゾルゲル一体物が97%までの全気孔率を持ち、実質的に2.0nmより小さい直径の気孔を持たないことを特徴とする、超多孔性のゾルゲル一体物。
  2. 前記ゾルゲル一体物がSi,Ge,Sn,Al,Ga,V,Nb,Ti,Zr又はHfを含む金属化合物又はメタロイド化合物から選ばれたゾルゲル前駆体から生成され、また前記化合物がゾルゲル反応を行うことができてゾルゲルを生成することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の超多孔性のゾルゲル一体物。
  3. 前記ゾルゲル前駆体が、シリコン、ゲルマニウム、アルミニウム、チタン、ジルコニウム、バナジウム又はハフニウムのアルコキシド又はハロゲン化物であることを特徴とする、請求項に記載の超多孔性のゾルゲル一体物。
  4. 前記ゾルゲル前駆体が、さらに有機の置換基を含んでいる請求項に記載の超多孔性のゾルゲル一体物。
  5. 前記ゾルゲル一体物が、少なくとも60%の全気孔率を持っていることを特徴とする、請求項に記載の超多孔性のゾルゲル一体物。
  6. 前記ゾルゲル一体物、少なくとも50m 2 /gのBET表面積を持つことを特徴とする、請求項に記載の超多孔性のゾルゲル一体物。
  7. 前記ゾルゲル一体物の表面がさらに式
    1 n‐Si‐X4‐n
    で表わされるシランで修飾されている、請求項1に記載の超多孔性のゾルゲル一体物。
    上記式中R1は水素、C1−C100 置換され又は置換されないヒドロカルビル、シクロアルキル、ヘテロシクロアルキル、アリール又はヘテロアリールから独立して選ばれ、また置換基はC1−C12のヒドロカルビル、ヒドロキシル、アルコキシ、ハロゲン、アミノ、ニトロ、スルホ、シアノ、グリシジル、カルバミド及びカルボニルから選ばれ、nは0,1,2又は3であり、Xは脱離基である。
  8. (a)気孔生成剤と、母体溶解剤を含む触媒と、ゾルゲル前駆体とからなる水溶液を作り、
    (b)その溶液を放置してゲルを生成させ、
    (c)高温でそのゲルを乾燥する
    ことからなることを特徴とする、2.0nmより小さい直径の気孔を持っていない超多孔性のゾルゲル一体物の製造方法。
  9. 前記母体溶解剤が弗化水素酸又は弗化水素酸源から選ばれることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載する方法。
  10. 前記弗化水素酸源がF2(g)、I族元素の弗化物、II族元素の弗化物、III族元素の弗化物、IV族元素の弗化物、V族元素の弗化物、VI族元素の弗化物、又は弗化物の塩から選ばれる、請求項9に記載の方法。
  11. 前記弗化水素酸源が、F2(g),KHF2,BF3,SiF4,GeF4,NF3,PF3,PF5,PF3Cl2,SF4,SF6,NH4HF2,フルオロシラン,フルオロゲルマン又はそれらの混合物から選ばれる、請求項10に記載の方法。
  12. 前記弗化水素酸が1モルのゾルゲル前駆体あたりHF1モルまでのモル比で存在する、請求項9に記載の方法。
  13. さらに(d)前記ゲルを少なくとも400℃の温度でか焼することを含んでいる、請求項8に記載の方法。
  14. 乾燥工程とか焼工程とを同時に行う、請求項13に記載の方法。
  15. 請求項13に記載の方法によって製造される超多孔性のゾルゲル一体物。
  16. 前記ゾルゲル前駆体が、シリコン、ゲルマニウム、アルミニウム、チタン、ジルコニウム、バナジウム又はハフニウム、又はそれらの混合物のアルコキシド又はハロゲン化物である、請求項8に記載の方法。
  17. 前記(a)の工程と(b)の工程とを溶液の凝固点と溶液の沸点との間の温度で行う、請求項に記載の方法。
  18. 前記(c)の工程を400℃までの温度で行う、請求項8に記載の方法。
  19. 前記気孔生成剤が、親水性重合体または界面活性剤である、請求項8に記載の方法。
  20. さらに前記超多孔性のゾルゲル一体物を結合相で修飾することを含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
  21. 前記ゾルゲル一体物を式
    1 n ‐Si‐X 4‐n
    で表わされるシランで修飾する、請求項8に記載の方法。
    上記式中R 1 は水素、C 1 −C 100 の置換され又は置換されないヒドロカルビル、シクロアルキル、ヘテロシクロアルキル、アリール又はヘテロアリールから独立して選ばれ、また置換基はC 1 −C 12 のヒドロカルビル、ヒドロキシル、アルコキシ、ハロゲン、アミノ、ニトロ、スルホ、シアノ、グリシジル、カルバミド及びカルボニルから選ばれ、またnは0,1,2または3であり、Xは脱離基である。
