とつくる角度が、起伏状の表面模様形成の特性にとって特に重要であるように思われる。実際に、この角度が小さいことが好ましいようであり、その理由は、そうであればローリングロールとプレートとの相互圧入がより漸次に起こるように見えるからである。各表面模様で、雄のピラミッド(場合に応じ、それはローリングロール上にあったり、表面構造処理されるプレート上にあったりする)及び対応する雌のピラミッドは、より穏やかに、且つ一緒に粘着する傾向が低い状態で、互いから離れるようである。この効果は、表面構造処理プレートの凹状のピラミッドと凸状のピラミッドの製造の両方について認められた。このより良好に表面模様をつける作用により、製造速度を上げることができる。
・プレートの基本平面
とつくる角度は、稜線5(又は図3bの場合6)と図2b及び3bで線AA’と合わさるプレートの基本平面との角度であることが分かる。この角度は、本発明によるピラミッドの向きの場合かなり小さい(図2bの5を図3bの6と比較されたい)。起伏状表面模様を形成する特性にとっては、このより小さい角度が好ましい。

- 少なくとも2つの平行な主たる縁を含み且つ、主表面の少なくとも1つに凹凸状に形成した、繰り返しのピラミッド型起伏状表面模様を有する透明プレートであり、各表面模様が頂点、底面、及び頂点を底面につなぐ一組の稜線を含み、前記表面模様の少なくとも1つの稜線が、プレートの基本平面におけるその投影が前記2つの平行な主たる縁に前記の2つの平行な主たる縁に実質的に平行であるようなものである透明プレートと、少なくとも1つの光電池とを含み、当該プレートの表面構造が周囲空気と接触しており、当該プレート及び当該電池が互いに平行に配置されているアセンブリー。
- 前記光電池が樹脂中に封入されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のアセンブリー。
- 前記樹脂がPVBであることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載のアセンブリー。
- 少なくとも2つの平行な主たる縁を含み且つ、主表面の少なくとも1つに凹凸状に形成した、繰り返しのピラミッド型起伏状表面模様を有し、各表面模様が頂点、底面、及び頂点を底面につなぐ一組の稜線を含む透明プレートであって、前記表面模様の少なくとも2つの稜線が、プレートの基本平面におけるその投影が前記の2つの平行な主たる縁に実質的に平行であるようなものであることを特徴とする、請求項1から3までのいずれか1つに記載のアセンブリーで使用するための透明プレート。
- 前記ピラミッドが凹状であることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載のプレート。
- 前記ピラミッドの底面が直径10mm未満の円に内接できることを特徴とする、請求項4又は5のいずれかに記載のプレート。
- 前記ピラミッドが4つの面を有することを特徴とする、請求項4から6の1つに記載のプレート。
- 前記表面模様が光触媒特性を有するコーティングで被覆されていることを特徴とする、請求項4から7の1つに記載のプレート。
- 請求項1から3の1つに記載のアセンブリーを含み、前記表面模様の少なくとも1つの稜線が、正面からプレートを観察したとき垂直に見え、且つ表面模様の下半分にあり、前記表面構造が入射光に面する側にあり、そして前記プレートが10°から90°の範囲の角度で水平に対して傾いている、少なくとも1つの光電池により光エネルギーを電気エネルギーに変換するための装置。
- 前記表面模様のないプレートを、当該プレートに表面構造を型押するロールを用いて、その変形温度でローリング処理し、当該ローリングの方向が前記の2つの主たる縁と前記表面模様の少なくとも1つの稜線とに平行である、請求項4から8の1つに記載のプレートの製造方法。
- プレートの前記表面模様が凹状であることを特徴とする、請求項10に記載の方法。
- プレートの前記表面模様が凸状であることを特徴とする、請求項10に記載の方法。
