Description
硫化銅マットをブリスター銅へ転化させるためのプロセスであって、
該プロセスは、
硫化銅マットとフラックスとを適切な撹拌スラグ相へ添加するステップと、
該スラグ相下方で連続ブリスター銅相を形成する或いは該ブリスター銅相に累積されるブリスター銅を生成するために、先端サブマージランスの下端の排出端から該マットとの反応に適した酸化性ガスを注入するステップと、を含み、
ランス先端はスラグ相内にある深さで位置しており、
その深さとは、注入ガスによるスラグ相の撹拌、及び注入ガスとスラグ相内に分散している硫化銅マットとの反応が可能になる深さであり、それと共に注入ガスの十分量が連続ブリスター銅相と接触しないような深さである。
図1は、本発明で好ましく用いられる鉄系ケイ酸塩スラグに関する相平衡図を示す。
図2は、本発明に係る連続転化を可能にする形態を説明するフローシートである。
図3は、本発明に係る先端サブマージ注入ランス反応器の部分切欠斜視図である。

Claims (15)
- 硫化銅マットをブリスター銅へ転化させるためのプロセスであって、
該プロセスは、
硫化銅マットとフラックスとを適切な撹拌スラグ相へ添加するステップと、
該スラグ相下方で連続ブリスター銅相を形成する或いは該ブリスター銅相に累積されるブリスター銅を生成するために、先端サブマージランスの下端の排出端から該マットとの反応に適した酸化性ガスを注入するステップと、を含み、
ランス先端はスラグ相内にある深さで位置しており、
その深さは、注入ガスによるスラグ相の撹拌、及び注入ガスとスラグ相内に分散している硫化銅マットとの反応が可能になる深さであり、それと共に注入ガスの十分量が連続ブリスター銅相と接触しないような深さである。 - スラグ相の深さは、注入ガスの流れや噴流をスラグ相の下面まで通過させることなく、スラグ相内への先端サブマージ注入によってスラグ相を撹拌することが可能な深さである、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- スラグ相の深さは約500mmから最大で約2mである、請求項2に記載のプロセス。
- スラグ相の深さは約700mm〜約1.7mである、請求項2に記載のプロセス。
- 注入をスラグ相の高さの中間領域で行う、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のプロセス。
- 注入をスラグ相の上面付近で行う、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のプロセス。
- 注入を下方向及び横方向外側へ向けて行って実質的に全てのスラグ相を撹拌し、スラグ相全体に硫化銅マットを実質的に均一に分散させる、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のプロセス。
- スラグ相は鉄系ケイ酸塩スラグを含む、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載のプロセス。
- 鉄系ケイ酸塩スラグはケイ酸第一鉄カルシウム(オリビン)スラグである、請求項8に記載のプロセス。
- 鉄系ケイ酸塩スラグはケイ酸鉄(ファヤライト)スラグである、請求項8に記載のプロセス。
- 鉄系ケイ酸塩スラグにおいて、Fe/SiO2比は1.14〜2.11であり、CaO/Fe比は0.15〜0.92であり、CaO/SiO2比は0.22〜1.11である、請求項8〜10のいずれか1項に記載のプロセス。
- Fe/SiO2比は1.14〜1.55である、請求項11に記載のプロセス。
- スラグ相に還元剤を添加してマグネタイトの形成を抑制し、スラグ相の泡立ちを抑制する、請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載のプロセス。
- 還元剤は塊炭である、請求項13に記載のプロセス。
- 鉄系ケイ酸塩スラグは石灰変性ケイ酸鉄スラグである、請求項8に記載のプロセス。
