Claims (7)
- 銅含有鋼屑を加炭溶解して製鋼用溶銑を製造し、その後、温度が1250℃以上1350℃以下、炭素濃度が2質量%以上、硫黄濃度が0.05質量%以上の前記溶銑に硫黄含有フラックスを添加して、該溶銑に含まれる銅を硫黄含有フラックスを用いて除去し、次いで、銅を除去した後の溶銑に含まれる硫黄を除去する鋼屑中の銅の除去方法であって、
前記溶銑に含まれる銅の除去処理を、インペラにより溶銑及び硫黄含有フラックスを攪拌する機械攪拌式精錬装置で行うか、または、硫黄含有フラックスを搬送用ガスとともに反応容器中の溶銑に吹き込んで行うか、何れか一方で行うことを特徴とする、鋼屑中の銅の除去方法。 - 前記硫黄含有フラックスがNa2Sを主成分とすることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の鋼屑中の銅の除去方法。
- 前記硫黄含有フラックスの出発原料として、Na2CO3を主成分とする材料及び鉄−硫黄合金を使用することを特徴とする、請求項1または請求項2に記載の鋼屑中の銅の除去方法。
- 前記硫黄含有フラックスによって銅を除去する前の溶銑は、銅濃度が0.1質量%以上1.0質量%以下であることを特徴とする、請求項1ないし請求項3の何れか1つに記載の鋼屑中の銅の除去方法。
- 前記銅含有鋼屑を、内部に炭材ベッドを形成した竪型炉を用いて加炭溶解することを特徴とする、請求項1ないし請求項4の何れか1つに記載の鋼屑中の銅の除去方法。
- 前記溶銑に含まれる硫黄の除去処理を機械攪拌式精錬装置で行うことを特徴とする、請求項1ないし請求項5の何れか1つに記載の鋼屑中の銅の除去方法。
- 前記硫黄含有フラックスによって銅を除去した後の溶銑に高炉溶銑を混合し、その後、高炉溶銑を混合した溶銑に含まれる硫黄を除去することを特徴とする、請求項1ないし請求項6の何れか1つに記載の鋼屑中の銅の除去方法。
