・多価金属イオン、多価金属イオンの溶液、水溶性カチオン性ポリマー及び/又は水溶性ポリマーの溶液、
・一緒に又は任意の順序で別個に、親水性化合物及び疎水性化合物
・表面活性化合物、例えば界面活性剤、並びにそれらの溶液
が好ましく、その際に、好ましくは多価金属イオン及び疎水性化合物のみが後処理に使用される。
R3は水素、メチル又はエチルを表し、
R4は水素、C1〜C4−アミノアルキル、C1〜C4−ヒドロキシアルキル、アルカリ金属イオン又はアンモニウムイオンを表し、かつ
R5はスルホニル基、ホスホニル基又はカルボキシル基又はその都度それらのアルカリ金属塩又はアンモニウム塩を表す]で示される化合物である。
方法:
血液吸収(BA):
この方法は、30分以内の超吸収体の血液吸収の決定に利用される。
・プラスチックコンテナ、丸い、内径50±0.2mm、内のり高さ20±0.2mm(コンテナI)
・網材(400メッシュ=36μmの大きさの孔)を有するプラスチックシリンダー、内径25±0.2mm、高さ40±0.2mm(コンテナII)
・ふたを有するペトリ皿、直径140mm、高さ75mm
・ストップウォッチ
・±0.0001gの精度を有する分析てんびん。
・Oxoid GmbH社、D-46467 Weselの繊維素除去された羊血液。
超吸収体0.2gを、空質量を前もって測定したコンテナII中にはかり取る。コンテナIには、繊維素除去された羊血液15gを投入する。コンテナIIを目下コンテナI中に置き、この構成をペトリ皿中に置き、ペトリ皿をふたにより密閉し、かつ時間測定を開始する。30分の時間の後にコンテナIIをコンテナIから取り出し、コンテナIIの外側を布できれいにし、かつコンテナIIの質量を引き続いて測定する。この質量及びコンテナIIの空質量並びに使用された超吸収体−塊状物(0.2g)の差から、吸収された血液量及びこれから血液吸収を計算する。
この方法は、超吸収体が0.9質量%NaCl溶液2リットルを凝固させるために必要とする時間を決定するための実験室法として利用され、それゆえ病院廃棄物又は医療廃棄物の濃化の規格にかなった実験室試験である。
・12cmの内径、28cmの高さ及び3リットルの内容積を有する円筒形のガラスコンテナ
・完全脱塩水9910ml中にNaCl 90gを溶解させることにより製造した、0.9質量%NaCl溶液2リットル
・ストップウォッチ
試験実施:
ガラスコンテナに0.9質量%NaCl溶液2lを投入する。引き続いて超吸収体67gを一度に溶液に添加し、かつ溶液の完全凝固までの時間を測定する。
調べるべき超吸収体の浮遊挙動を、凝固時間と共に決定する。その際に測定の間に目視による決定が行われる。
型式M5/20実験室バッチミキサーのLoedige(登録商標)−プラウシェアミキサー中に、商業的に入手可能な、水性液体を吸収するヒドロゲル(Hysorb F)1kgを装填し、
場合により、硫酸アルミニウムの示された量を26.8質量%水溶液として噴霧し、かつ10分間後混合し、かつ
場合により、Aerosil(登録商標)R 812、Aerosil(登録商標)R 974、Aerosil(登録商標)R 8200及び/又はAerosil(登録商標)200の示された量を添加し、かつ15分間後混合し、かつ
場合により、Span(登録商標)80の示された量をジエチレングリコールモノブチルエーテル中の25質量%溶液として噴霧し、かつ10分間後混合した。

Span(登録商標) 80: ソルビタンモノオレエート (Uniqema、NL)。
Claims (16)
- 浮遊挙動を有するヒドロゲルにおいて、濃化すべき溶液及び/又は懸濁液の40〜90%が液体表面から出発して、かつ濃化すべき溶液及び/又は懸濁液の残りの部分がコンテナ底部から出発して濃化されることを特徴とする、浮遊挙動を有するヒドロゲル。
- 凝固時間が120秒未満及び/又は血液吸収が少なくとも10g/gである、請求項1記載のヒドロゲル。
- 乾燥させたヒドロゲルを、疎水性化合物及び場合により親水性化合物で後処理することを特徴とする、ヒドロゲルの製造方法。
- 疎水性化合物及び場合により親水性化合物が、0.001〜10μmの平均直径を有する粒子である、請求項3記載の方法。
- 疎水性化合物が、疎水化されたケイ酸又はケイ酸と酸化アルミニウムとからなる疎水化された混合物である、請求項3又は4記載の方法。
- 親水性化合物が、ケイ酸又はケイ酸と酸化アルミニウムとからなる混合物である、請求項3から5までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- ヒドロゲルを、付加的に多価カチオン及び場合により界面活性剤で後処理する、請求項3から6までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 多価カチオンがアルミニウムイオンである、請求項7記載の方法。
- 界面活性剤がソルビタンエステルである、請求項7又は8記載の方法。
- 多価カチオンを水溶液として計量供給し、かつ界面活性剤が18未満のHLB−値を有する、請求項7から9までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 後処理したヒドロゲルを乾燥させる、請求項3から10までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 血液及び/又は体液の吸収のため又は水溶液及び/又は懸濁液の濃化のための、請求項1又は2記載のヒドロゲルの使用。
- 医療廃棄物の濃化のための、請求項1又は2記載のヒドロゲルの使用。
- 衛生用品における、請求項12記載の使用。
- 請求項1又は2のいずれか1項記載のヒドロゲルを含有している、衛生用品。
- 請求項3から11までのいずれか1項により製造された生成物と、殺生物性、抗微生物性及び/又は抗菌性の物質及び/又は香料又は芳香剤、安定剤、染料、pH−指示薬及び/又は他の助剤との混合物。
